Harlem Irving Plaza in Elmwood Park

of terror, a man who was in traffic began to hit my car, be very careful. I dont know why he, Hip Mall, hires people who are not right in their heads, my daughter gets very scared and my grandson too. This happened today 11/25/22 .3:20 I notified the police.

The HIP was one of my hangouts in high-school. Glad to see it thriving these days. Sad the arcade is gone but I guess no one cares about DDR anymore lol.Anyways, thanks for the throwback adventure.

This mall is great! Bathrooms can be a little more clean tho.

Easy access to stores specialize stores can find most anything you want with the anchor store ni e food court reasonable prices safe place to shop plenty of security bathrooms are few and far apart you could half a day shopping at the mall I got what I needed at best buy and left.chris

I visited Red Robin it was great. Friendly environment great service

Better than most enclosed malls. Company works hard to keep stores rented. Especially since the pandemic closed many businesses.

The mall at the hip was extremely empty we went to hobby lobby five below Target and to eat at McDonalds everything was great people in all the stores were very friendly polite excellent with us

Hot as hell in that mall. Very clean and well kept though. Quiet and peaceful for a mall, which I like. Great new anchor stores as well. Wouldve been 5 stars if it wasnt kept so hot.

First time visiting this mall, nice atmosphere.

Wifi and reception is exceptionally terrible on the strip from Bath and Body Works through the food court. Otherwise, their bathrooms are well kept and security is typically helpful. Decent selection of stores, especially with their expansions over the years. Always will find a spot to park.

I miss the old ice cream shop that was in front of Victoria Secret, I was looking forward to speaking more with the guy (I apologize I cant recall his namebut the young gentleman who worked at the bubble gum ice cream mini store made it fun going to the mall

Getting better with time! Always a new spot opening or expanding and I am happy to be close by now

Alot more foot traffic than many malls these days. Alot of stores geared towards youthful shoppers

Worst experience, lazy workers, and attitude as most shoe resale stores I wouldn’t recommend places like these need to be shutdown. I walked in respectfully and waited until they where done playing on there computer and I asked If they had a shoe in stock and they lied and said no but advertised it on there social media page 3 times customer service is dead and a place like this definitely shows that! AND I AM SPEAKING ABOUT SOLE PARADISE

I hate this place … I remember coming here when I was like 17. It was okay but not the greatest and now it’s just a disgrace so dirty so crazy so ghetto 😅

I usually stop here to go to lids in search of any new Bears hats and grab a slice or 2 at sbarro. Slices usually hit the spot & lids usually find a way to make me give them $30-$40 🤣

Harlem Irving Plaza has a great selection inside, and so many stores in the area also. Great location

H.I.P. has been a mall I grew up going to. Now, my mom and I take my daughter and she loves it. Our go-to place is ALWAYS and WILL BE Cinnabons.

Its a good mall, fairly large and plenty to do

Its always early in the morning when I visit here so most of the shops are closed , but walking around its overall cool!

Its okay there to stay up its very Grand the story itself isnt that big I like the fact that they have souvenirs customers that come in from out of town

Theres a lot here. If you cant find what youre looking for at HIP, maybe you dont need it! Very big & busy place.

I worked at the HIPs Footlocker and Footaction for many years in the 90s to 2000s I shop at the mall for anything I need I was at Best Buy this time buyingSamsung Galaxy Pro earbuds It was replacing my other galaxy pro earbuds which the right earbud didnt work anymoreThe service was great and friendly

First floor parking gets packed quick but the stores are nice and the place is kept clean.

Love getting away from Lakeview to shop here, always find too much good stuff lol

Parking is great... good deals on clothes and shoes quiet lowkey mall. A lot safer and better than North riverside mall

So many shops to choose from. Can also get hair and nails done plus eat. Why go anywhere else when its all here. Been going here for years since my kids were little.❤

Love the place a lot of variety and after walking all day you need to try the chairs massage excellent

I love this mall because it has all the stores you need a great food court and its never too crowded. Plus, I worked there as a teenager.

stores are okay, but all the clientele are terrible, rude, swearing, low class, ignorant, and generally people you dont want to be around. What a shame.. security is decent... but a lot of bad people acting obnoxious and groups of feckless people with nothing to do but hang around in the middle of walkways then give you a dirty look when you try to pass by. But online, do curbside pick up.

I love this mall....or, I just fell nostalgic every time I go to it. How ever, enjoy your experience there.

Went to Hobby Lobby. One of my favorite stores. Always can find fun and needed items. Came looking for decorations for the deck. They didnt have too much but very happy with purchases.

They added a few more good stores to the mall since since the last time i was there 💪

I enjoy going there. Have the stores I like. They got wifi signal in the mall although it could be a little better, and almost all the stores. Food court good mixture of food. And most of all safe place.

The mall was like the definition of peace when we visited it. It is so quiet and it is not so busy. We like it, and I think its convenient for us to be able to shop freely and do or find whatever we want. We also liked it because each store was clean and well-lit, and most importantly, we were accommodated very well because there were only a few people. There are stores that are busy, especially the brand stores, and some that are not. Many stores are open, but there are also a few that are not. We like the service, and we also like that there are a lot of sales and discounts at most of the stores that we visited. Not only that, because the products and items are of good quality as well. We were glad that we had an amazing experience at the store. It was definitely our first time experiencing something like we had in this kind of shopping mall. I highly recommend this mall.

This mall is one of the oldest ones in this area. Love it love the remodle that took place I just went here to do a pick up of some slena games pumas for daughter and I. Champs was cool busy and friendly

Security followed me and my husband around the mall for 45 minutes. When I asked him why he was following us, he said just doing his job. When we left Spencer, he said we tripped the silent alarm and had to search us. I had my baby strapped to my chest and didnt even buy anything. We just agreed to leave and he escorted us out. Highly disappointed. Wouldnt go back

My previous experience in this mall is good. I was able to shop freely without any hassle or anything of any kind. I went to various stores, and in every store, I walked into I observed cleanliness, well-organized products, and most importantly, great customer service. I have no problem with the stores I visited, and in fact, I like the selection of some, especially the clothes and other stuff that I bought at a really great deal. The mall is not too busy, it is not full of people, and I am torn between being happy and sad about it. I am happy because it was a peaceful and convenient shopping experience, and sad because it is not the usual scene I usually see and it feels a bit boring. Even in the food court, when I got hungry, I ate in the food court, and there were like only 10 people in the food court, including me. I love the food that I ate though, and for me, it is great to eat in the food court of the mall and be able to shop in the mall after quite a long time.

I came here with my son. It’s been a long time since he goes outside because of the schooling and also covid. I planned to eat here our breakfast. We eat pancake for him and hot chocolate and for me is burger bacon and hot coffee. After we ate we enter to the stores and bought him a clothes, pants and jacket. It’s expensive since its branded and has a comfortable and god quality fabric. We also enter to the toy store and bought him his favorite truck car. I also bought him a big robot. He likes the toy so much. He can’t wait to play it in our house. After we bought this we went to the chocolate store to buy bag of chocolates since he loves sweets. He had a great experience in this place. He can’t wait to come back here again.

I like to shop at HIP mall because easy to in and out. I recommend to you all. Food court has good selection.Easy garage parking with two levels and walk to mall.Bus station just outside.I post the extended holiday Mall hour.I shop at Target, carson( for 30 years but closed Kohl’s, Nordstorm rack, Journey, Forever 21, Pandora, bath body, DSW, Dick’s sport, AT&T, T-Mobile, Best buy, Panda, McDonald, Sabarro Pizza.Santa photo boots, kids toys, Nails , message place, Zale, Kay, Rogers & Holland Jewel etc .Additional mall has Panera bread, Red Robin, chipotle and Xsport fitness center. If you need parking drive to Underground garage.

They have made some nice improvements recently. Some new stores and old stores in new locations. It was nice to see how things look. Keep it up! If you havent been there in a while you should check it out.

This mall would be a whole lot better if there werent so many teenage stores in it! Its all geared to the same group of people. Nothing exciting. Basically inside the mall is the same store different name as far as clothes and shoes. I dont waste my time.

2nd floor construction is complete and looks great. Have to wear masks in the mall during Covid.

Lots of stores to choose from- stores for all ages and all occasions. The food court has a huge amazing selection of food and tons of dessert. There is Lots of parking available all around the mall so need to worry about that. I believe 4 floors of parking!There are being renovations done so there will be more small kiosks at the mall available and less chain stores Which I am extremely excited about that happening!

Nice plaza.. we always have a good deals.. real nice yogurt place
