Classic Hard Rock Cafè experience: quite good music (even if not always "rock n roll"...), very good burgers and memorabilia. Service was good, as well as Guinness pints.

Norways only Hard Rock Cafe. Spacy, quite a few interesting memorabilities. As always good food and drinks.

Kindly staff, the food was tasty.I just missed the Hard Rock environment, like the decorations, maybe it is because we stayed at the bar room.

Not very much rock: Abba, Boney M, Madonna, Lady Gaga. At the time we where ready go there was slightly more rock-ish music but not enough to make us stay. Go for the food not for the music.

Love most of the Hard Rock Cafes I have been to (...and thats more than 60). This is a nice location and a beautiful building, so we were in shock when we heard it was about to close and re-open somewhere else. Hope you find a new, nice spot!Friendly staff, and one in perticular (forgot to ask your name!who gave us the best tips on which fjords to visit and which routes to pass....we have seen it all, except the moose :Geiranger, the countless waterfalls and 5 more fjords, muskats, snow....thanks again! When I travel I usually visit Hard Rock Cafe`s all over Europe and America. This one is OK. The bar area is very nice and has a good atmosphere. The dining area upstairs on the other hand doesn’t, there’s kind of a cafeteria atmosphere to it, and the service could be better. The food that we got was OK. I would definitely go there again for the drinks.

We were guests at the Hard Rock Cafe on September 5th, 21st as part of a city trip through Oslo.The location and the music was really great.Our food and drinks were very tasty and the price was okay.The highlight of the evening was the pretty blonde waitress.Ive never seen a cute woman like this before.Greetings from Germany. Very nice food (especially nachos 🤤and cool and friendly staff. I hope that I will be able to come there again next summer when I come back to Oslo! 👌

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with my visit at Oslo Hard Rock Cafe. After my experience all around Europe, from Austria, Czech Republic, Italy, France, Germany etc…this one is thé weakest in the chain.When they finally opened after the last COVID-19 lockdown in Oslo I couldn’t wait for visit them and then… nothing…First we wait at the street around 15 minutes and they told us that someone will came for us but nothing happened so I decide to check inside with waitress and get a table for us. Some guys who were waiting before us,came inside 10 minutes after us 🙈The staff was nice but without experience and totally confused, they gave our food to table near us and drinks also, they forgot our cocktail order …nothing like stuff at Hard Rocks usually are: friendly, open, crazy but professional and with attitude. The biggest disappointed was when they told us they don’t serve jumbo combo, moreover, the waitress never heard about jumbo combo 😳At the end, the burgers we ate were okay and nachos also, but after all … they deserve just one star

I’ve visited multiple Hard Rock Cafes in all continents and this was one of the worst in terms of food (very limited and non-standard menuand ambiance (less decoration, multiple TVs not showing videoclips of the songs being played, etc.). Still good as a place with vibe to get some tasty food and drinks, but didn’t feel it was living up to the same standard from Hard Rock Cafes elsewhere

Ive been visiting the hard rock cafe restaurants through my travels around the world for many years, and most of the ytimes my experience has been great until I went to the Oslo restaurant. We went in to try to get a table and before I even spoke, we were told they were full. We didnt even get time or a call device. Too bad that the standards have gone down. I wont go there again.

Crowded like no tomorrow.Kitchen is slow, but thats okay considering the taste.Card/Menu quite small considering.No vegan and barely even an vegetarian meal choice available, but it can be arranged.Nice staff, can speak English well.Awesome location, beautiful building, nice decorations.Music is... They just played a few Rock, Hard Rock or Metal songs the whole hour I was there. Mainly POP, Dubstep, even some Hiphop and techno.

I have been waiting for a table for over 20 minutes. I was first in line at there was many people leaving restaurant. After 20 min I was seated outside and by the dirty table even that there was a peace of paper saying that it was cleaned. And I have waited and waited for next 20 minutes. I asked the waitress if I could get the menu and she said that everything is online... Why first now? When I ordered, everything came at the same time, starter and main meal. So when I ate half of my starter, my burger was already cold 😖 nice staff, food was ok but nothing special. Next time I will choose different restaurant

Finally some time to eat here while working in Oslo. Wierd how korona affects the dining experience.

Super friendly waitress, excellent onion rings and a juicy burger.Me and 3 mates went here for lunch, we all ordered burgers and we were very happy 😊 We shared a plate of onion very crispy onion rings! 😀Decent selection of beers and drinks.Finished with a delicious Irish coffee ❤️

Visited July 17th. Reduced menu because of just having reopened; thats fair enough. Burgers were cold when served (good fries, though), and the cheese burger ordered for one of the children was served as a hamburger. Addressed that with one of the waiters, was dealt with - but took more than ten minutes to have a new cheeseburger delivered.Burgers not worth the hefty price. Childrens menu was reasonably priced, tho, and served on plates they liked (shaped like a guitar).

Its a charming atmosphere - as expected of a Hard Rock Cafe. I was astounded by the sound - they really manage to play "in your face music" while not interfering with conversations. Well done! I was less taken by the food though. As a person with allergies, the menus make it hard to understand what is contained where. Very illogical system, and with mistakes (the milkshake was listed without milk...). That already created trust issues. The gluten-free burger bread was dry and inedible. The meat patty was good, but the rest of the ingredients was tasteless. For the price, I expected more. We probably payed for the atmosphere.

Hard rock cafe is a given success, no matter what city you find it in. In Oslo the food and the service was excellent. As always a nice atmosphere created by well planned lightning and music. Much appreciated

Attentive and friendly staff. Burger was good and tasty. Rock Shop is a bit limited, but I have found shirts in the right size.Price level for food and drinks is, as uasual in Oslo, a bit high. However, it is a place to go for lunch or dinner.

The food is good, but the staff not so much, I was at other HRs and every single one was more than great, atmosphere, staff, food... And here very unfriendly waitresses... I was dissapointed.

The staff was very nice, the dishes were good and there are also vegetarian and vegab options. The vegetarian Cauliflower Burger was pretty good, but almost too big to handle. 😅

113 crowns = 11.5 euros for a cocktail they nicknamed Triple platinum margarita that had very little alcohol. Another 11.5 euros for the average beer taken by my friend.

Very polite staff, speaking very good English. Lot of space inside between tables, clean, no odours, very well airconditioned. Food is very delicious and surprisingly fast delivered for such busy place. Prices are quite reasonable for Norway. Worth visiting.

Enjoyed Bollywood dance party till 3 am. Best place to rock the dance floor.

I went here around 3-330 pm and the place wasnt busy. (maybe 5 other tables had people). Took us a few minutes to get seated at the table. Once seated, we looked at the menu (had some choices I didnt see at other Hard Rock Cafesthe we wait for the waitress to come take our order. She just took the drink order even though we knew what we wanted to eat. After we got our food, the waitress never came over to see how things where or if we needed anything (I needed a fork for my mac and cheese and a refill on my drinkanother waiter came and gave the fork to me but i never got the refill on the drink. We finished eating, called her over for the check, and she never showed up again. We ended up not paying with a credit card and just left some cash because we didnt know if she would come back to the table.The food was good and the atmosphere was good. Staff could be a little more attentive.

Good music, good food but the best thing is the ambiance, sitting and staring at Princes guitar during a meal is pretty amazing!

Great Local Legend Burger (with moose meat), drinks and dessert. Caesar salad was so-so. But who goes to HRC for a salad?? Cool memorabilia and very friendly staff!

We arrived with a couple of colleagues after a long day at work to have dinner. The place was quite busy, we had to wait around 10 minutes to get seated. After we were seated the service was quite fast, the waiter was a cool guy, super friendly. I picked chicken fajitas and an English cider. The food was tasty, but it was a bit overpriced.All in all this is a fun place, recommended for all.

Beautiful building, friendly staff and some great memorabilia

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. My friend and I had a great time and it certainly offered up some comfort food. Even the drinks were done right, not watered down or improperly mixed, which was positively just what we needed. Friendly staff topped it all off.

Its not one of the most amazing Hard Rocks you could visit, BUT...here comes the BOOM: THEY HAVE THE MOST AMAZING CHEESECAKE PIE I HAVE EVER TASTED...and I have tasted quite a few. The service extremely professional.PS: I went a couple of days before to have dinner to a very posh place next to a medieval fortress, and let me tell you that the quality of the meet of Hard Rocks was significantly superior to the one of this place Im mentioning.

Despite the hustle and bustle following the recent arrival of the USS Iwo Jima, the crew seemed to keeps its calm, serving up the juciest Java Lava - a medium spicy burger recently added to the Hard Rock Cafe menu. Although, at times, I expected my order to be lost somewhere in the jungle of orders, one or another member of the staff frequently assured me that my order was coming. Kudos to the guys in this place!

I ordered the moose burger and it was delicious! It was a little pricey but at least, you can refill your drink!

Very rude staff, refused to look if there was a size L on the shelf. So I didn’t buy my usual Shirt and left. @owner: it was September 23th or 24th, around 5 pm. It was a guy

My first dirty Hard Rock cafe... but tasty food , good music ...

The Hard Rock Cafe is located at the very heart of the city of Oslo. Excellent place for grabbing a bite or a beer.

Visited on trip to Norway recently, the staff were really friendly and happily accommodated for any requests that we had. The food was timely and was quite nice. The prices were reasonable especially for somewhere in a city and so close to the royal palace. It wasnt as busy as I expected and actually a bit too quiet for me, however we did visit in early afternoon before dinner service which would explain it in most circumstances.

The salmon taste very fresh where you put the fork to it and it just melts in your mouth! The burger didnt need any marinating. The freshness of it just makes it perfect.

I had a strawberry lemonade with basil that was very good. French fries with parmesan were awful. Frozen potates friend and some cheap parmesan. The sauce was ok. The burger was mediocre. No taste, I tried the local legendary. Meat and cheese felt cheap, caramelized onions were missing. I dont recommend this place, you can find tastier food at a kebab store.

I just came here to buy a pin and it took forever. They werent very busy but only one person was working there. I didnt like their sweater collection, but the pins were pretty nice. Otherwise I would not come back here, but if you are a collector of sweaters, its a pass from me.

Came across this place while staying in Oslo, me and my partner absolutely loved the food and atmosphere. Also, cocktails are a must have! Would definitely go back here if we visited Oslo again.

I had to eat and Oslo pass has discount here. Plus, it was the closest to my place without a reservation. I said: fine. Although I went to the bar and decided to order food (supposed to go upstairs to the restaurant), the bartender made my night nice by providing good care of me. Brought me the food and chatted. Ordered a quinoa & hummus burger with artisan fries - pretty good!!
