Port Denarau Shopping Complex, Denarau Island, Nadi Viti Levu, Fiji, Nandi
Rock ’n’ roll-themed chain with a high-energy vibe serving burgers & American classics.
Great service by Lita. Spent 3 evenings here while on holiday. Love to go back.
The food was delicious. I had chicken fajitas and they were near perfect. My friends both had the steak burger and both said it was outstanding. Coming from the USA we thought the prices were way too much. Hence the 4 stars.
Staff are so friendly and happy, cocktails taste amazing and the barman is a lovely person and very accommodating to what cocktail I wanted that wasnt on the menu. The only reason I am giving 4 stars and not 5 is because the nachos for 2 that my husband and I ordered wasnt that great, pretty small for 2 people and not much topping or sauces and hardly any meat even thkugh we ordered double meat. But everyone else enjoyed there meals.
I ordered the buffalo sliders.. the buff patties were super dry, do not recommend. Cocktails were yummy and we were there at happy hour so 2 for 1
Ate lunch there - pretty poor experience. Music loud and pounding. No AC- just fans, so you dont get out of the heat. Service non-attentive, we saw two groups finally leave before ordering. We ordered nachos and a beer but it took forever to get her to take our order, while they stood around and talked. Then another 45 minutes for stale chips and then chasing the waitress down to be able to pay. Stay away!
Well this one is in Fiji. So an extra star for the location and view. 5:30p just caught happy hour to get 2-4-1. But the service was slow. 15 - 20 mins before we got a server. Host ordered the beers for us when we waved him over. Those came just before 6p. I didnt order food but my friends did. Time was okay/normal for it to come out. Nachos come with lots of chives on top, not for me. Ate one from the bottom. Lots of beans I like. Fries good, hot, some crispy. I like that. Had part of a burger. I thought it was dry, then realized the condiments were on the side. My mistake. Good flavor though. Last thing. In Fiji they dont really expect tips for their services. Being American, we usually do tip. Asking a local, found out the owner takes half of their tips and uses them to pay for their Christmas Party. I think that is cheap (to keep it politeon his part.
Food was normal hard rock food with some Fiji specific food. Ate outside, view was nice but many different bands playing music at same time making listening confusing.
Very slow service and waitresses didnt understand English very well. It took 45 minutes of waiting at a table with 7 people to order food (after calling someone else to take our order). The drinks also took a while to come out and the place was not very busy. The food was good but the wait and misunderstandings didnt make it worth it.
Had lunch for the second day in a.row. All the.girls were amazing, food fantastic service is the best. The manager Vishal came.out to say hello and was a great person to talk to about possitive feedback. This place is a must for lunch when at the post. Thanks team see you again
Good food, generous servings. Staff were very nice, although they had trouble with serving a Raspberry and Lemonade, we kept getting Raspberry and Coke. We were there for Happy Hour, so that was a bonus. The musicians performing that night were excellent, I could have stayed longer to enjoy their music.
Very generous portions of tasty American style food, highly recommend the ribs and bbq bacon and beef burger. The apple cobbler we shared for dessert was A+. Friendly service too plus cute merchandise.
No wonder its called hard rock... its rocking soon as you arrive😎 stopped over for drinks and I gotta say happy hour its just too good .beers our famous Fiji cold n bitter drafts get one and definitely get another for FREE. yes! Recommend this rocking cafe as a starter before heading to the bars.
Great staffGreat cocktails, 2 for 1 happy hour in the afternoon and after 10pm
Big portions, liked the potatoes skins. Cant say I was a big fan of the YMCA on the hour it was all a bit staged and only one of the staff really into it. Just slowed down getting the food and paying the bill. Took a long time to get drinks but food was worth it. Second time weve come and we would come again. Handful of memorabilia in the shop. Live music was good.
As good as any Hard Rock Cafe out there. You have your usual assortment of burgers and steaks in addition to this they have a handful of Fijian inspired dishes. Its okay the food portions seemed a bit on the smaller side when we visited.
Love the fact there is a Hard Rock here. It is a consistently great meal and drinks at any hard Rock. This one isnt an overly amazing version but its still a good meal. Happy hour 5-6
We came here for a few cocktails and dinner and loved their happy hour (2 for 1 cocktails 3-6pm). The menu is standard hard rock- burgers, fries, wings, ribs. I had the hickory smoked bacon burger whilst Adam had the tropical burger (with pineapple and mangoand both had three drinks courtesy of happy hour. Total bill for 6 drinks and 2 meals came to $200FJ (approx $140 AUD). Couldnt say no for such a large group of Australians
Oh man, when youre already paying top $$$ for food in Denarau, then you add the brand surcharge of Hard rock cafe, it becomes a very expenses option for very average food. I expected much better. Its like they have lost the quality touch and its become like a glorified fast food outlet. I think they need the American franchise owners to pay a visit and give everyone a wake up call. At these prices, loyal HRC American tourists will feel ripped off.
Nice cocktails and they are half price at hapy hours
Great staff and good service. Food is to the usual Hard Rock Cafe standard. Music is a big let down. Very average band and they compete with a cultural show and another band nearby.
Staff polite however food way overpriced.. we ordered a slider dish and was presented with 3 tiny hamburgers . The buns tased like they were days old.. overall experience.. good staff but the food was sudstandard.
its hard to escape American culture. the food is as you would expect. There are some Fijian dishes on their menu. their Fish and Chips was very tasty, but if youre going to the Hard Rock Cafe, Youre most likely there for a specific style of food.
The beef wasnt good quality. The atmosphere is brilliant because the staff make it great. The lesson is, if your on an island, eat fish. The best on the menu is the burger, have the burger.
Burger and fires arrived some kind of already cold. The burger itself was ok, the patty was very, I mean very dry. I have been in a lot of HRC all over the world, but this is very disappointing. I do not recommend.
Great place for a burger and beer with great memorabilia
Very different to any HRC Ive been to. Only a bit of memorabilia, a lot of outdoor seating. With live music in the evenings. The menu was the same though, with some local flavours. Quality was ok, I had a burger. Service was good, people were nice.
The food were delicious, drinks were fresh and lovely. The staff were awesome, our waitress actually took care of our 7month old baby whilst we enjoyed our meal. Worth every single dollar!
Nice location and quality food.
Great place to be, the drink looks amazing and pricey. Too much ice-cream for me on thia drink. Overall, everything is excellent. Just dont choose fancy drinks thats all or else youll end up like me.
Overpriced, one of the burger patty was so burnt that its not eatable, when I tell the staff about it they dont seems to care. Oh well its Fiji afterall...
The best thing about the evening was my drink & it saved my rating from being 1 star as it was wonderful. Our table was outside & the music was so loud we couldnt talk & one person resorted to covering their ears. Food was cold - not ideal with fried food.
Pretty cool spot. Service was average at best. Good food and drinks though. Quite enjoyed it apart from staff bordering on rude, not acknowledging us, or listening to our requests.
Great staff and great hospitality love the overall rock and roll experience I get here. Amazing and I would totally recommend for anyone thats looking for a filling meal to try this place out in Fiji. Itll be worth it. And happy hour buy one get one free deal is amazing love it!
Loved it here. They were super nice and the happy hour deals were awesome. Food was what you expect big and delicious. And the entertainment was nice with the live band performing while having dinner was definately a plus. Worth a visit!
Food was good, but around 6pm all staff did a dance (with night club volume soundto the YMCA. Was great but maybe more appropriate at around 8 or 8.30 pm when families had gone home.Service was good, just the loud music for the 3 minute song was off putting.
Probably the worst cocktails Ive ever tasted. Low quality pre-mix and barely any alcohol. We didnt eat food but it looked fairly generic and unappetizing with lots of people leaving it behind and not finishing. Location is nice on the waterfront. Staff were friendly but not terribly efficient.
Good service, good food, large American serves, and awesome drinks. Yes high prices by local standards, but not much different to other HRC around the world. Also need to consider they have to import beef from Australia and iceberg lettuce from NZ. Price on menu already include 25% local sales tax, not sure why others same hidden in small print.
Nicely presented, but the live music was far to loud to enjoy a sit down dinner, even inside, fans and air conditioners chilled us to ice cubes, meals took quite a long time, and many other meals were served to customers that ordered much later than us. Meals were overpriced. Fortunately the food and cocktails were good. Staff were excellent. This could be 5 star with some small improvements.
Normally I love Hard Rock Cafe. I usually make it a point to stay in a hotel or visit a local one whenever theres one close to where Im staying. I love the atmosphere, drinks, food and general service. Sad to say this one just didnt meet expectations. Food was mediocre and over priced. Service was terrible. 25% Sales tax on the bill. Wont go back there next time we visit.
The manager and staff were extremely friendly! Get a free appetizer when you take an online review... so make sure to return & collect your bounty... we took full advantage of taking the review with each person in our party! Saving tons of money as we also went during happy hour! Also, the place has a great view is is not a far walk from the resorts! Happy travels!
Awesome place to grab a bite to eat and have several drinks
Awesome menu I recommend to try the Fijian stayle fish in Lolo sauce yummmm
We were craving burgers, and I think this is the best place for them on Denarau Island. Happy hour ends at 6pm, 2-4-1 cocktails. I had a banana berry frozen cocktail (can’t remember exact namewhich was delicious. Live band was playing too, all very talented guys. Burgers were delicious, loved the spicy dip for the chips, and service was reasonably quick.
Just next to the marina. Great staff. Only one problem. Their happy hour from 15:00 to 18:00 ends at 17.52 because they have a "system time" that differs from official time. Although I showed the official time to the supervisor, she insisted that the happy hour is still 3 hours as it starts at 14.52 and ends at 17.52. Sorry guys. I wasnt there at 14.52 to notice and in any country only the official time matters. Fix your system time or you will get many more angry customers.
The drinks in happy hour are great (buy one get one free)Burgers are fantastic!Fish and chips was good but a little oily.Service was the worst we have had on the island. We had to actually chase and on occasion stare down the waitresses for service. Despite they were happy standing next to our table talking to each other. We could have and should have spent so much money here for drinks but we just left because it was too hard to get service.Live bands Friday, Saturdays and Sundays. We went Saturday the 25th of November the band was excellent and were open to our requests whilst celebrating a birthday.Good food and the main guy behind the bar is great but the waitress staff need training.
Good food and prices. Mon - Sun 3pm - 6pm Buy one get one free for any alcoholic drink.
I can get better tasting food from my hotel. The food on the plate was as pretty as a picture, but when it came to eating the food, the pulled pork was covered in sauce and had no pork taste and the ribs were as tough as rubber. Overly priced and not worth it, your staff were more happy to see a white tourist than a brown one.
Average quality food but rather over priced compared to the dozen other restaurants next door. Music played far too loud to be comfortable, let alone be able to talk to anyone at the same table.
One of the best hard rock cafes I have visited. Icy cold and cheap Fiji bitter. Great food menu and reasonably priced. Worth a visit when in Fiji.
Good range of European food at similar prices compared to other restaurants at Port Denarau. There was nothing bad or outstanding about the meal we had there. Dessert was a bit average, I had a coconut cream pie which was just a coconut tart/cake with ice cream.
