Harbourside Markets - Market in Kempsey, Australia
Great range and being outside is always a plus.
You can buy vegetables, books, stones, plants. But that’s about it. Not many stalls
Great variety of stalls with fresh produce as well as arts and crafts. A few junk stalls with potential treasures. The kids enjoyed the nearby park and a few live performers.
It was a wonderful day very pleasant and family friendly including pets and very easily accessible to all
Great selection of markets.Food was really good.
Got there early so parking ok. Fruit and veg little cheaper then shops
Its chill to walk and wander round here. Enjoy your weekend with sunshine.
Harbourside markets are literally the best, They have stalls for just about everything & also have a store for dogs they have treats the dogs can try & their prices are pretty fair & much cheaper than pet shops.
An interesting and eclectic mix of stalls. Easily keeps the eye and mind challenged as one moves through the myriad of stalls. Wonderful coffee and a brisk walk in Sunday morning sunshine does wonders for the constution..
I walked 6klms to here and could not find anyone that sells a can of coke.Found one further on up to the harbour.
Great markets, hadnt been since the park upgrade. The stalls are set out so well, so many dogs that were well behaved and friendly people everywhere :)
Wonderful place to wander and try different foods and local produces. We purchased some veggies, local products and ate new foods while enjoying the music and array of good feel people.
Gd array of stalls. Gd food trucks. Parking is a bit hit and miss though
Nothing special here. Disappointed also with parking. Good weather, and large crowd.
Great seaside markets, though more food vans would be good.
Great place to come eat , shop and relax.
Lots of great stalls and such a beautiful location! We had a great few hours looking around, getting lunch and exploring the scenery.
Great place to see local wares and taste great food!!!
Parking area was shocking with no clear flow in and out. Market had a nice atmosphere. I liked the live band. Surrounding areas (sea viewswere amazing with nice paths for prams, wheelchairs etc.
Great variety of stalls and entertainment and did available.
Such an array of products. Individual pieces, well crafted. Beautiful spot as well. Food vans also
Awesome turn out at the Markets combined with Beach Hop show and shine!!!
Great people great setting and a few bargains to be found dog friendly whats not to love about that if youre in the area you should go bring your towels and swimmers and go for a walk and swim as well
Great day, down at the water what could be better. Just more parking and better exit road would be a good idea
Beautiful winters day. A sizeable market but seemed to be smaller than I can remember. Still nice way to spend an hour or so.
So good. The crowd, the vibe, the music, cars, Market stalls, food its so nice."Wow " the weather June long weekend was the best. For us we took a look around first checked out stores we liked and bargains then went back to the ones that suited us.Who doesnt love a bargain.Nice to see some different stores, not seeing double keeping a variety is better.Im telling you now I which I had a bigger bag, we brought really well and loved the custard apple ,yum first time for everything 😋.
Limited market stalls, too many dogs around and extremely limited parking. Save your time and money go somewhere else.
Markets are always good.. could do with some more food vendors.. the jumping castle is expensive now theyve changed the pricing structure..
Prices are a bit mental for what you get and the layout is favourable to the pricey stalls over the more market type ones. Theres very few bins so most were loaded with rubbish , the toilets are a mess, the jumping castle is over priced for babies but acceptable for toddlers and above .Good points are the live music, the food , the gin tasting stall and the fresh produce stalls.
Good range of stalls, lots of places have eftpos readers
Nice leisurely walk around the markets. Good food and coffee. Reasonable range of stalls and nic naks.
Absolutely beautiful market. Right by the beach and traders are super friendly. The coffee and food stalls are excellent. Just the best most relaxed market, live music and beach.
The Syrian food stall is great
Absolutely fabulous place to grab something to eat from Doobies Dog or Donachos Mexican and to have a look at some amazing hand made items, like hand made jewellery from EKCreations, fabulous cloth masks and so so much more from Kylies Creations, amazing dresses and clothes for a wonderful range of sizes from Bone & Arrow Gypsy, leather belts and bags and so much more all made by a local crafts man plus locally made mandala money pots. And for treats the best donuts I have ever eaten from Dylans Donuts, cold Boba from Bubble Pops.Plus great coffee, authentic crepes both sweet and savoury, delicious Japanese food plus locally made gin, fabulous cured meats and a great selection of local fruit and vege.Who could want more from one stop.
Currently the site is occupied by the annual Marchs Amusement carnival which closes end of the monthHowever the carnival will be at Coffs Harbour show 13-15th May 2022. I know these are carnival photos but the range of rides changes each year and like these flowers youll find lovely people at the carnival
Wonderful family and home-grown environment feeling. Great time for the kids and well priced within the stalls. Highly recommended.
It’s a lot of fun coming visiting this market. We bought ice cream and started walking around checking out what stalls there were. Maybe today there were less stalls than usual because it is Boxing Day. We then had Iraqi naan bread and Syrian chicken kebab. We also bought a big box of blueberries before we left. It was raining the previous day so sitting on the grass killed the pants. Hopefully they put more sitting area. Doesn’t have to be fancy. Just need somewhere to sit down. There was plenty of parking available not far from the market.
Well laid out, plenty of space to relax and enjoy the free entertainment. Wide variety of businesses to choose from and plenty of food options. Would need to visit several times to sample all the food available
Great market with amazing views a spectacular location, with Australian Made Products, a huge variety of Growers, International Cuisines to feed the hoardes, & many different stores, lots of areas for kids to play, roller-skate swim & ride their bikes.
Fun place to come and eat and shop
Relaxing and pleasant ambience.Great for a morning stroll and getting some unique pieces.
Great location, mix of good produce, arts and food
Nice little regional market. Some yummy food options - the Davidson plum donuts are particularly delicious! And lots of locally made handicrafts. Something for everyone and only a short walk to the pier and beaches. Always a live band playing too which is a nice touch
An atmosphere that just keeps giving. I always enjoy coming back to these markets again and again, taking my time and getting to know the stall holders and their wares. Its really nice to connect with the people and the things that I buy.
The Harbourside markets are a great weekly hub of social and cultural integration and not many other places offer so many smile early on a Sunday morning. Great food, amazing local creativity and products on display, entertaining live music and even some activities! However it is at times very crowded and noisy making it hard to find a place to sit and relax this combined with the near complete lack of shade has prevented me from ever making a prolonged visit. I would still highly recommend checking these markets out though as you will not regret it!
Awesome markets. I went on a Sunday morning and there were loads of stalls ranging from fresh produce, to honeys and jams, plants, hot food stalls, and clothing too. It was great to see lots of handmade items from locals and locally sourced products. I had donuts with Davidson plum from the Organic Donut shop and it was amazing. Highly recommend visiting the markets. Plenty of parking too!
Great variety of stalls with some great food on offer. Close to the jetty and beach.
Lots of stalls, nice atmosphere. Dog friendly. Only thing missing is more breakfast food trucks/stalls
✔️ gorgeous location ✔️ quality products for sale ✔️ top notch food vendors ✔️ live music ✔️ relaxed friendly vibe ✔️ family & pet friendly ✔️ local produce ✔️ green Eco products ✔️ brilliant coffee ✔️ loos nearby 😆 I dont live in the area but its definitely one of the best markets Ive ever been to!🌼🌼🌼🌼
A nice outdoor market in a pleasant area, and when we were there we spotted corellas and galahas (very exciting for us visiting Americans).
