This is one of my favorite places to go. I grew up in San Clemente and I have been coming here since the 80s. Its a nice tranquil place to go when youre looking to just relax. My favorite time to go here is in the mornings when everything is calm and the water is super glassy.

A lot of activities, SUP, kayak, stroll the harbor, bike, you can enjoy most outdoor activities and the views of Dana Point are great.

Beautiful location to watch the sunset or the waves. With a beautiful view all around. Cliffs, harbor and vast ocean you can sit here all day and enjoy.

One of the great free things to do. Ample parking at the marina and marine science learning center puts you right at the beginning of the beach and jettie entrance point. Low tide provides access to the many tidal pools where you can see lots of marine life. There are also several miles of sidewalks throughout the park for an easy stroll.

Great views, visitor center up the hill has free public restrooms and more trails

Took my kids here to watch the sunset and they love walking the trail. You can see animals in the brushes and it’s actually good exercise for them. The trail is closed at sunset. We go normally go down to the harbor and small beach but this park is worth stopping for them.

One of my favorite beaches and places to visit when trying to relax or kayak. This weekend I attended my sisters wedding at the hall right next to the marina and it was beautiful. The view was amazing especially at sunset!.. Only minor complain is the parking troubles. There was no parking on a chilli evening, I cant even imagine how terrible it must be come summer. Many special memories around this place and looking forward to making more!

One of the great marinas that I have visited. Goes on and on and on with more amenities than Ive been able to catalog. What do you want to do? Rent a jet ski, rent a kayak, rent a stand up paddle board, swimming in a cove, go out collecting in the ocean as a free diving hunter, visit the ocean institute, take a sail on a wooden schooner, eat in many different restaurants, visit the mild beach or the wild beach. Its all here with every type of amenity you can think of - from valet parking restaurants to chandlery to yacht brokers to baby sitters. Good times.

This seaside park includes tide pools, rocky shores, a replica tall sailing ship, & oceanic learning center.

This place is amazing for families and friends to visit you can walk the trail for a little bit and enjoy the view of the Ocean

We love coming down to visit the tidepools down by the Ocean Institute. It can get crowded on weekends, holidays, etc.

This park offers great views with a short trail that gives a great scope to the entire coastal area. As a great place and I would absolutely recommend it!
