Waited here instead of the cell phone lot, gorgeous views, felt safe at 10pm.

Great, quiet & safe park. Good shade trees and gorgeous view of bay and city skyline. Nice for a leisurely stroll. Benches for resting. Great for plein art drawing or painting.

Beautiful and relaxing. Clean walkways, quiet and serene. Will definitely visit again.

Ill always enjoy a beautiful walk down this area. The air is fresh and the sidewalks and grassy areas are clean. Its a perfect place to walk your dog, see the sunset, or just go for a simple stroll. Theres a great view of the harbor with the Downtown SD skyscrapers and Coronado bridge in the background. The side walk is narrow so share the space.

Beautiful view both day and night. Perfect place to take a picture of the downtown skyline. Park is well kept and appears to be safe.

Great place to unwind and watch all the cool sail boats and ships.

Go for a walk! I forgot how much I loved this little spot. Lots of people were showing up after 4 to go for a jog, stroll, or taking the dog out. Nice amount of parking after 4:00 pm.

Nice city park, not too crowded. One little beach to swim at, dont know how expensive parking is.

Beautiful area with a scenic view of our citys skyline! Lots of action as the airport is west, hotels, yachts and boats, some restaurants and all the naval/military stuff in the surrounding area.

Met up at Harbor Island for a picnic with a group of classmates celebrating the completion of our class. It was was drizzling and cloudy. We sat in a circle on the grass with chairs or a blanket and ate yummy goodies! The drizzle didnt last long. The view was peaceful. Parking was easy to.

Plenty of free,safe parking. WTch bay activities, go for a long walk or use as base camp for long bicycle ride. Good picnic area and clean bathrooms.

This area is amazing! Quiet, clean bathrooms and wonderful view. You have a double doible view when you soend time there. City and Coronado Bridge view plus water. Its so relaxing to walk around there, great to have a happy hour in one of the great restaurants or just have a picnic in thete. You will see people jogging, walking. San Diego is a paradise not matter where you go have a fantastic spots. Parking is easy.

Very nice and quiet place, good for fishing and family picnics. It has benches, but no tables. The view of the downtown from this park is amazing!

Great place to take a stroll or have a picnic. Watch the boats in the harbor or see someone reel in a shark (we happened to on our last visit!).

Harbor Island Park is a great place to take a walk, go for a run, ride your bicycle, have a picnic or just relax by the bay. I have also seen people fishing there, but I am not sure what they will catch. Plus, with all of the boat traffic on the water I would be concerned about contaminants. It is also right across the street from the San Diego International Airport, so this is an awesome place to wait for any out of town guests or family members until their flight arrives. This is much better than the cell phone parking area because there are restrooms. Of course if you are really early you could grab something to eat or drink at one of the local hotels or restaurants.

A beautiful location! I enjoyed a nice walk and watching others fish and walk their dogs. Plus a view of downtown San Diego.

Nice little park with views of the ships, Coronado Bay Bridge and surrounding skyline. Great for a relaxing picnic or possibly a nice intimate wedding. Restroom facilities available. Walking distance from restaurants and hotels.

Enjoyable park thats great for a seaside picnic or a slow stroll. The place has downtown San Diego and the Coronado bridge in the background. Only issue I have is that it was slightly crowded today on Valentines day.

One of the best, if not THE best views of the SD Bay..I hidden gem if you will.On top of that, you got fishing 🎣, picnics, perfect weather, relaxing walks and biking .. all for FREE! 👍🏻👌🏻..There are food places to eat but require at least an arm in exchange, so be prepared for your wallet to cry if you arent rich.

This is a great park right on the water. There is parking and bathrooms. Its also a great location for viewing the boat parade.

Its a really nice place to walk along the harbor and enjoy city view. Theres a nice sidewalk where many people runs or walk their dogs. Bikes or rollerblades not allowed. Theres a clean restroom but theres no door to the stalls

If you are stuck at the San Diego airport with time to kill, ie flight delay, this is just a short walk and beats hanging out in the terminal for hours. You can get there in approximately 15 minutes and there are safe crosswalks. A beautiful view of downtown and Coronado. Plenty of benches to sit down and take it in but not a lot in the shade.

An oasis right across from the SD Airport. Perfect for walking, fishing, running, or just sitting around in the many benches along the path. There are lots of great restaurants along the way to satisfy even the most demanding foodies. If youre in the market for a boat, you can also do that...buy the boat of your dreams, LOL

Lots of parking, Sheraton across street. If you are a tourist this is the hidden gem for you, I am not, peaceful and secluded!

Whether you come here day or night, its always a refreshing and breathtaking view here at harbor island. During low tides you can see the rocks lined with oysters.

Great place to park while waiting for some to arrive at San Diego International Airport. I always hang out here instead of the cell phone lot. This place has beautiful views plenty of benches and restrooms. It’s just a straight shot to the airport and parking is free.

Great spot to look at boats passing by, take in views of the city, watch the helicopters take off across the bay or listen to the water ripple on the rocks. Saw guys fishing too (for what I dont know).Nice park benches to take in the views or enjoy the nice grassy spots; or if its hot, hide in the shade under the trees.Handicap accessible and bathrooms on site. Free parking was nice. Could park here and ride bikes along the waterfront all the way to downtown if you desired.I couldnt find any Bird type scooters to ride in this area (on a Saturday during boat show)

I was here for the parade of lights. Lucky as hell to get parking 40 minutes the event started. Not prepared for the cold and hungry. Found a little spot that was still open. Merry Xmas everyone.

The dogs love this place! So many neat sights to see and experience and sniff and WOOF at! The weather was perfect and we all had a good day!

Beautiful views and a wonderful tour. We only planned 1 day in san diego, which is why we decided to come here. We saw seals, seagulls, and whales, no complaints.
