Its a fun place but the service is lacking. Especially on Friday nights. Go on Saturday if you want to have a chill time

Nice sports bar in the mountain park neighborhood. No frills, just booths and beers (and liquor). Plenty of TVs.

Losing quality. I usually get the salmon dish and it comes with roasted potatoes and broccoli. The potatoes are the best part. For some reason they decided to go lower quality and start using baked potatoes instead. There goes the dish I normally get. Definitely not worth the price now, especially after they raised the price. 😠

Good food, great wait staff. Very few masks worn inside by customers.

Came here as a last resort but ended up having the most amazing time! Had two drinks each and that was all we needed for the night.

Standard sports bar with friendly staff and good pours. Karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. Good food and chowder. Several pool tables and video poker. Wish the AC was better.

Bartender was friendly. Food and beer was awesome. Fish and chips and wings were amazing. Will definitely be back.

Our experience here overall wasn’t stellar. The food however was really good (reason for the two stars).This restaurant is located on the corner near a shopping center with high visibility and often times loud and - lets call them overtly expressive individuals - hanging around the outside, nestled into a residential neighborhood. Given that it is a residential area bar, I was hoping for some things like good food, good drinks, and good atmosphere.Walking to the building the ground is littered with cigarettes from the clientele, many of which well within the 10 foot rule for Oregon Law. The inside of the restaurant says masks required but we saw the staff (2 menwhom were not only NOT wiping everything down but also did not enforce this guideline. People that were “regulars” were allowed to skirt this rule.The service was meh. We had to track our waiter down several times. In many cases he was busy running by our table to get back to the regular crowd of folks and making chummy with them or the barman. We were just happy to get our food in a timely fashion. Asking for anything else though, that was questionable.While we perused the menus, a table nearby us began bashing the service of police in Washington and Oregon. I glanced up from my menu because the individual going on about this was getting quite colorful about it and loudly slamming To-Go boxes, plates, and drink glasses of his colleagues that were sitting. After a second look up from my menu I cleared my throat at the table to gently let them know to calm their table mate down because their behavior was inappropriate and uncalled for. This individual got louder and rather than escort them out after having too many or calling them a cab, they let this person stay. After about 20 minutes watched him and several others that had 2-3+ each get in their vehicles and drive off. While intoxicated.This bar seems to attract the unsavory types that dine in based on what we saw during our visit. A member of my party was experiencing an anxiety attack from the person slamming stuff and threatening harm to officers the next time they see one. We ended up getting our food to go.For this one, would be avoid dining in the restaurant/bar. Get take out instead of you want the food and eat it outside in a park, patio, or with friends. In honestly though, for the price you can get an equally decent burger and apps at Oswego Grill, Stanford’s, or Red Robin for the price if not cheaper.Would not recommend and we won’t be returning.

Waitress wouldnt acknowlege us, after we sat down, no menus or anything, she just kept sitting and gabbing with another table. Why even bother trying? We left.

If you like drinks, and live it in Mountain Park, this is your bar. The hot wings are good, full size wings. Make sure and tip heavy when youre dealing with Nick.

I needed a place I could cover all my needs to say goodbye to a dear friend that lived in Lake Oswego.I contacted the owner of Hankos to make arrangements for space, food, and decor. The owner made affordable food options, made sure staff coverage was available, and allowed me to show up early to decorate for the special event. I couldn’t have asked for things to go more smoothly.One of the most difficult days of wishing a friend to go on her next life adventure away from me was made so much easier by the awesome staff at Hankos.I could not have nailed the food without them! Thank you!Love you guys!

The drinks were strong (not in a bad waythe food was just alright. They kicked us out after spending money all night when we bought pizza from down the street.

Disappointed. Recently moved to mountain park and was hoping this would be the new place since it’s so close and the reviews were good, but that won’t be happening after the way we were treated during our Sunday morning visit. They advertise “a local bar to call home,” but that’s far from our experience. Our questions were shrugged off multiple times and we were forgotten by a particularly rude staff, especially the manager (owner?who was more focused on the date he was having than running the bar. Won’t be coming back.

Update: I have returned a few times since my unfortunate last visit and they seemed to have replaced the terrible server with some excellent service. The bartender makes a strong drink and is very friendly. Food is pretty damn great too. Worth a stop!Old review: Tiana B. Is completely and utterly unprofessional. Super rude and angry. I had a terrible experience despite being very polite and tipping regardless. I closed my tab after only 10 minutes to avoid her negativity. Never had a problem here before but will not be returning.

Great sports bar with surprisingly good food. Its rare to find a sports bar that serves gourmet style burgers starting at $11. Always cooked right, very large, and the fries are thick-cut.

Good drinks, friendly bartender and killer wings. Thought 12 bucks was a lil steep for wings but these were whole giant wings cooked perfectly. Well worth it. The buffalo sauce was spicy and had an awesome flavor. Not just some regular old hot sauce. Good little spot to chill when you need a down to earth watering hole in lake o.

To walk into such a welcoming environment means the world after a long day.The menu offers a great selection from appetizers to healthy salads to heart warming amazing Mac n cheese which is customizable!!The set up is great for meeting a colleagues, birthday parties, karaoke, brunch, dinner, and especially happy hour. The staff worked extra hard for several birthday accommodations and or just catching a great game to high five the friends.Nothing I enjoy more than spending great times at Hankos with a great group of friends I have made. I can’t recommend a more perfect place to settle on my stool and call it home!

Surprisingly good food for a bar, staff was friendly but not the fastest service in the world (not a major issue). Few video games and pool tables, good if youre in the area, wouldnt suggest going out of your way to go, however.

Only been here once for a Saturday brunch, but the one visit was great. Friendly and attentive bartender and a fun "regular" crowd. Good bar food, nothing fancy, but not too be scoffed at!

Fun place, Great Happy hour and lots of TVs..jalepeno Poppers and Wings are awesome.. large enough to feel not cramped up.

This bar has two pool tables, multiple TV screens and booth/seating arrangements. Video lottery if thats your thing. They tend to get a bit overwhelmed on the server side during big nights. The food is food as well.

Great place to watch sports and shoot pool. I’ve been going here for years, the food and the menu are better than I expect to find at a typical sports bar.

The food here is surprising good. I had Mac and cheese with bacon and onion rings. Very tasty, enough food for two meals. Service is good, but they seem understaffed, everyone was working their rears off.

I have had a good experience here more times than I could count. The staff here makes the patrons happy and wanting to come back for more. There are plenty of TVs for sports, pool tables, darts, video golf and video poker...not sure what else you could want from a neighborhood sports bar. Awesome:-)

This place serves decent drinks and the bar tender was very friendly and attentive. The location of this place is terrible, the two tiered parking lot is very small and having a bar in a strip mall setting is odd. Standing in the parking lot you cant even see the sign because its covered by foliage. If you dont live within a half mile of this place you probably dont know it exists.

This is your typical neighborhood American bar. They offer bar food and the menu is fairly large. The items my party had were good. The french fries were quite good. I went off peak hours and the service was very good. They had a decent beer selection but not a stand out for the Pacific Northwest. The place is much larger than what I expected and it had two levels. They have pool tables.

Fun place for Karaoke, pool, and games. Service is slow and friendliness is hit-or-miss, (some staff act as though customers are an annoyance or inconvenience), but we still go for the karaoke! Atmosphere is mixed crowd. Food is good.

Im a stranger,looking for a nice place to watch nba play off game. After 2 not so nice dining experiences on Mothers day, I had, I was afraid Portland might be another city that doesnt deliver. Couldnt be a better place to go relax,eat, and enjoy the patrons and good,friendly bartenders.2 thumbs up for Hankos.

I have been coming here for a while now and I have to say it is one of my favorite sports bars around. They make good drinks at even better prices, hire amazing staff, and the food is pretty darn good to boot.

As a traveler I like to find a local hangout. Simple checklist really. Drinks check, pool check, sports on TV check, awesome bartenders double check. Yep a new temporary home for me.

Very unhelpful and rude bartender. Extremely uneducated lady working the bar, but to top it all off she was condescending. Cool place in need of only one thing a bartender with a personality.

No Lake Oswego ambiance here, but you will get patrons with the attitude, not that you can avoid that in the area. Nice people, good drinks, pool tables and a sitting are on one side, tables, games and tv on the other side. It was a good experience. seems like a place that a lot of regulars frequent.

This is probably the shittiest bar in lake o, the lady couldnt figure out my age, so proceeded to ask a customer at the bar if my birth year meant I was 21, first warning. Then gave me my beer in a dirty pint glass, noticed when I was done with it. when I told her about she shrugged it off and said "must be my dishwasher" didnt even apologize. Then on my second round, did the same. When I took it up to the bar and told her this was dirty as well, I was about halfway through the beer.. she nonchalantly said, " well if you wouldve brought it when you first got it..." again didnt apologize or offer a fresh one or finish her stupid sentence. I didnt realize the customer is in charge of checking to see if the glass is clean. She is unprofessional and incompetent.
