First time ever in this place and all I can say is it s people warmth captivated me , also the band which I did not know the name were playing some killer blues covers from guys like Bo Didley, Muddy Waters and classics from Jimmy Hendrix.I can easily compare this club to The Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood , amazing sound, excellent bar food and the drinks are just to die for.Plenty of parking around the venue and sound system is pristine !!I highly recommend this place for the tourists and locals as well if they want to experience something different and amazing blues music played by the band The Blues Chapel.I will come back !!

While the ambiance is great, they don’t take debit or credit card. Only cash or ATH móvil which is pretty sketchy and would have been nice to know before hand. Also, they add their own tip to your tab regardless of the size of the party. The food was just ok, nothing great that would make me return here

I had high hopes for the place but... I really cant give it 5 stars. Even went in different days to see how the place works. Friday, youll most likely see a band with a woman singing. Shell sing some well known singles, take a break and then sing a few more. Theres some TVs putting some classic rock, alternative, etc. Which is a plus. Never went on a Saturday since was told that they charge you 7 out of 10 times a entrance fee. Sunday youll get an unplugged vibe going on. Good if you have a date?I just felt uncomfortable since they dont deal well with strangers. Also, for a "rock place", the times Ive been there theres been children and teens there.

Always a gem of a place. A temple for rock lovers and bikers. High quality live music in a good range from 80s through 90s and a nice selection of local bands. Food is also available in a nice variety of snacks. Bartenders are sharp and fast, really capable to handle rush and crowded events.

9/10One of the best rock bars. Food is excellent and the service in the food bar area. It is sad that the service in the beverage side has some rude and arrogant bartenders ., but tonight I was help by Fernando. He exceded quality and care. 12/19.

Great place to hang out. Nice music and ambiance.

The music was ok. Parking was ok. Ambiance was good. But the bartenders are the worst ever. There is no order of service and they take the orders they want to take. Three times I try to place an order. No luck. In front of the bartender 15 minutes and was ignored. 3 times. To hell with this place.

Handlebar is a great place if you are looking to see great local bands and have a cold beer but dont go for the food! We ordered the nachos with beef and we couldnt finish it. They were greasy and just plain bad - and thats a lot to say cause you really cant mess up nachos. Anyway, we love Brocco so we hung out and watched him perform. Overall, Handlebar is great, just go on a full stomach. Rock on!!!

The bar has a nice location despite the smells from the Kennedy Avenue. The music is good, nice tributes and nice vibe. Some of the bartenders are rude and may insult you when theres a rush though.... Seen it a few times.

Very good live Rock bands and often good tributes to even better bands, I really enjoy the service and the food is great. There lots of parquing great for groups and has an out door space to enjoy too. I really love this place!

Good place to hangout, theres live bands and the food is good too. They dont have a great variety of drinks, but they are strong. Parking is limited too. They have outside sitting also.

Staff is great, food is awesome, drinks are great. Highly recommend the sampler and from the bar anything you can think of, theyll make it. Tributes are great. Saw tributes for System of a Down and Linkin Park and they crushed it, specially the Linkin Park tribute by Meteora. Various TVs playing sports or shows. Great atmosphere for any age

Its a really good bar with good food and drinks. Its cheap and free entry with no dress code. Good music and people around. Its a rock n roll bar so make sure to shake your head when that song you havent heard in a long time comes in.

Awsome bar, period. If you are a metalhead or a rocknroller looking for a place to spend your time and party with the best rock and metal shows in town and possibly the whole island, this is the place you need to go. Service by the employees is great, fantastic security that makes you feel safe at all times and in a very calm, apart from downtowns mess location. If you get thirsty grab one of an excellent selection of beers and hard drinks, hungry perhaps? They got you! They have a selection of fritter for the none dieters, f*** herbalife kinda people that makes this location one of the very best in P.R.Do I recommend it? Of course, this place is even better than my mamas cooking. 🤘🏼🤘🏼

This is kinda like a rockers place, you probably wont hear trap music here, but the rock music they play is not bad at all, and sometimes they do live presentations, which is great, no?

Neat place, hidden location makes the place seem even cooler. It does get crowded and louder as the night goes on, fun time, its a true Rock bar.

Everyone would like to chill .if you decide that day to go somewhere to get more relaxation, just let your feet take you over there and get the chance to ask for the snacks, after that let them serve you by let your glass gets half full of Margaretta .I promise you that you are gonna feel you feel over the cloud .it is all about the best service , best food, best drinks and best wishes .to park your vehicle , make sure to put it into the parking lot which is located in about two blocks from the place because most of the police vehicles start to make their regular patrols around 8:30pm. to 2:30am. In sometimes you have to pay your tickets off if you did not catch the police when he release a ticket for the unproper vehicles parked next by the main road .One more thing to say . Some girls working there are really friendly and helpful . They keep making the tropical island conversation by telling you about the cultural festival , historical landmark , social life of the people here and more to explore in few minutes more than can you find it out in days .so make sure to ask them so they will let you get better chance to look in scoop to la Isla Bonita Citi .

Amazing place, very original. I still have not seen a bar here in Puerto Rico that is even close to the style this bar has, there is always rock playing and sometimes they host tributes to great bands.

Its a bit hot since it doesnt A/C, but only a few ceiling fan. Having said that, its a great local joint with live music. Probably, the last bastion for classic rock weekend-warriors left in San Juan. Ive seen pretty good tributes there for Journey, Toto, Dokken, Green Day and others among drinks, friends and cool folks.

Best place for rock and beers!! I really love this place, great music and ambience, waitress are awesome and food is good. (Music can get really loud ../ I love that, Friday and saturday night they get live bands to play.

Handle Bar is chilin. Good prices, food and beer with rock music every time. The employees are very nice and it is a good place to have fun and feel safe.
