Hanbing Korean Dessert Cafe (Subang Jaya) - Korean restaurant in Puch'on, South Korea
Theres Korean food such as Kimchi Jigae, Toppoki and desserts like shaved ice here. Went on a Saturday, the place is quite quiet so theres no worry on having no place to sit or the pressure to eat and go fast. The shaved ice and Strawberry soda drink is nice. Environment wise its average I would say, but its nice and cooling enough.
Found hair in my fried chicken and the egg wrap on the japchae tasted like plastic. Gave feedback to the staff during payment and they did not say anything as if they did not hear it.
The food is nice. If You are craving a dessert here will be a nice place, but the portion is quite big suggest that to share. Service is given 4 stars, because the food is a little bit slow.
Ooohhh the blueberry taste was awesome!! Worth my visit! My children n friends..went crazy over it!!😄🥰
Delicious! Yummy..
Can get nice Korean hanbing (shaved icethere. Tried the Kimbap as well, a little bitter on the day I recently had, not sure what caused it tho😅 But not too bad in overall review.
Great environment. Very friendly staffs. Their Bingsu is amazing, huge in portion. Their coffee is also great. Also their seafood ramyun and bibimbap are must try items. Everything served there is fresh, tasty and full of care. One of the best Korean food places in KL.Highly recommended.
Ordered their kimbap, we all had stomach ache after that . Feels like there is something wrong with the kimbap ingredients but we didnt know. I hope the quality of ingredients get check every day to avoid food poisoning.
Ordered Tuna Kimbap, Chicken Kimbap - not goodBibimbap was ok ok
Althought the bingsu was nice, all the other foods ordered was a real disappointment. Went there twice and both time food quality was very poor. Money not worth spending.
Servers were so rude. One of the server asked to keep away one of our friend’s bowls because she was not eating at that moment when we were all sharing the bingsu together. And when 2 of my friend went to toilet, the server proceed to take away the unfinished bowl without asking if they can clear it. When we asked her about it, she just denied and gave a really bad attitude towards us and was very annoyed that we asked her why she took away our unfinished food. Overall, dessert was decent but the service was really disappointing. Would not recommend for anyone
WORST SERVICE EVER! The waiter and waitress took away our food and cutleries without informing us, and the food was not even finished! (and yeah, they stared at us when we question them 🙃)
Very delicious Korean bingsu, have been here twice!
Hanbing used to be the benchmark for bingsu locally, disappointed with the quality though price hike. Like very watered down.. Not returning anymore.
Ordered their chicken Bibimbap from Grabfood. The taste was honestly quite underwhelming, too much of white rice while the portions of ingredients were lacking. Weren’t worth the price at all but kudos to them for opening the business until midnight! Really convenient for the nightowls out there
WORST CAFE EVER !!! ordered their chessy tteokbokki which costs around RM32+ so i expect the portion will be quite big but unfortunately its extremely mini ... whats worse ?? theres literally only 4 tteokbokki inside??? are u kidding me ? i paid rm32+ for 4 pcs and it doesnt taste good as well .. mostly are just fishcakes and cheese ... speechless af
One of my Fave Korean Dessert place. But I will always savour the Seafood Ramyeon. Super delicious..
[Dec 2019]1. Quite pricey2. Quite a lot of spiceWas hungry hence I ordered their lunch instead of dessert. Staff was decent but not approachable. The kimchi garlic fries when I ate had probably too much spice or is probably because of my sensitive nose. My sinus got worse but is ok. It is tasty but I feel it is too pricey. If I have the chance I would dry their dessert instead, but not for now.
Not satisfied with the taste of Nutella chocolate flavor. There is no Nutella on it. Just powder form of coco. The drink was a normal soda drink with condensed milk on the bottom.
Good eating Korean dishes and deserts. Korean Bingsoo (shaved ice and fruit and other condimentsand a whole lot of other main dishes are served. Great eating place.
Cheese Robokki, sweet and a bit spicy taste, 8/10Kimchi fried rice, serve on teppanyaki plate so with the base of "guoba"锅巴(crispy rice base), if can give more kimchi even nicer 9/10Blueberry cheesecake Bingsu, acceptable sweetness, nice dessert after dinner 7/10
My favorite place!!! So far the best I ever have it in town!!! Definitely worth the price!!
Love love love the blueberry cheesecake bingsu 😍😍 also tried some savoury meals but not too fond of them.however their bulgogi sandwich was also great
Price : medium? One bingsu is 24-26. The bonfire snow ice is the nice ones~ green tea is not as sweet (good to prevent diabetes)- kimchi fried rice is normal (16.90)Place : quite a good place to talk (music is low)Service : abit lack of man power, so understandableStars rated 2-4 by friends
Super love their bingsu. Tried other places bingsu but so far Hanbings was the best
About Bingsu Recipe: A traditional dessert in Korea, Bingsu is probably the most sought summer dessert in East Asia. It typically consists of chopped fruit, condensed milk, strawberries, kiwi fruit, small pieces of tteok (rice cake), chewy jelly bits, and cereal flakes, fruit syrup, and red beans. This is the place the treasure lies.
Normal food, expensive and normal serviceBingsu ice not that cold, very watery and their matcha flavour too thin, too milky does not taste like green tea. Bingsu was quite small but very pricey.Food very normal and meat was too hard, sauce gave was too less and nothing special that worth its price.
Friendly staffs, fast service, good food, spacious and clean
Good dessert shop!
Food taste great but the portion is quite small especially the kimbab.- Kimbab Bulgogi : Tasteless & portion too small. Not recommended 😕 6/10- Spicy Octopus Bibimbap : Taste really good but not spicy at all. Portion is okay for 1 person. 9/10- Spicy chicken sandwich : Taste normal and again not spicy at all. 7/10- Classic rabokki : The Tteokbokki very chewy & delicious. But portion small 🙃 9/10- Blueberry snow ice (Bingsu: Sweetness just nice & taste great! Very recommended 10/10 👌Overall is okay the service also good, the staff understand that we want the bingsu after food and when we ask for it, it was serve in 5 mins. Recommended to come for their bingsu especially. 😻
Celebrated my birthday at this Korean restaurant. The food is done Korean way. I love the bibimbap. I love bingsu. So excited this restaurant has got bringsu on the menu. The service is good. If you are looking for Korean food, you can always give this restaurant a try.
Taste: 3/5Portion: 3/5Ambience: 3/5Service: 3/5Price: 2/5The brisket ramyeon is really just run of the mill. Price not commensurate. The kimchi dumplings on the other hand were awesome!
My very first-time eat Korean bingsu in this restaurant, she ordered a blueberry cheese and it tastes so good but a bit sweet among their 5 flavours. Once awhile is okay because quite pricey for shaved ice dessert like this.
i loved their bingsu!! the ice was so milky and fine, and everything complements each other so well. plus it’s not too sweet.
We ordered 4 Bingsus for a family of 7 and it came with 5 pieces of chicken popcorn free of charge and some fries. Should have asked them to serve the bingsu 2 by 2 and not all 4 at one go because it melted faster than we could have finished it. Portion was not bad for that price if you compare to flying all the way to Seoul to have one
Ordered Mango Snow Ice. Unfortunately they used overriped mango. Im so disappointed after coming here for several times. Service by staff should improve more.
One of the best Bingsu/shaved ice dessert around.. for durian lovers..do try their Musang King Bingsu.. for non durian lovers.. the green tea .. strawberry.. blueberry are simply yummilicious..they also have nice korean dishes.. seafood pancake .. seaweed roll n soya fried chicken.. highly recommended.. servicevis very good..place is clean n very reasonably priced ..👍👍
Kimchi chicken ramyeon Rm 20, not good lack flavor, chicken patty was tough. Japchae Rm 16, not good too sweet. The blueberry shaved ice was good Rm 26. Didnt quite enjoy the syrup which tasted like cough medicine. It came in a large pile of ice. So in short dont get hot food here.
The place was absurdly crowded when we arrived (Saturday night). Foreign servers were attentive and pleasant despite communication barrier and exhausted faces. Serving time was 20 minutes, for the 8 of us.Food and beverages were mediocre, overpriced compared to serving portion and taste/quality. The highly rated shaved ice was also disappointing, subpar compared to other places in Klang valley. This is our second visit to Hanbing (first was Bangsar Telawi branch). We had a positive experience at Bangsar but the visit this time here is just one big letdown.
Due to time constraints, I didnt get to taste the bingsu (which I heard they taste quite nicebut here are two takes on the food:1The bite-sized chicken nuggets are pricey for breast meat and a tad tough to chew. The first flavor on the menu is nice though but youre paying RM16.90 before taxes.2The seafood pancake is quite recommended to try. Crispy on the outside, flavorful on the inside sprinkled with bonito flakes.
The snow ice was super delicious, it was blueberry cheese cake bingsu. Rm 26 but including service tax was Rm 30.16. The staffs were friendly. Good place for ice-cream date with your loved ones. The restaurant has korean food as well.
Highly rated for its dessert. We had their famous mango snow ice which was delicious and enough for 2 pax.
They have 6 flavors in store; Strawberry, Oreo, Mango, Green tea, Blueberry and I dont remember the last one but I snap picture on it. We ordered Oreo flavor. Not recommended if you wanna taste something sweet. The ice still smooth but it is quite tasteless. One of my friend ordered blueberry, its much more delicious and have small cut cheese cake as topping. The price quite pricey but acceptable.
Great food, pleasant ambience n utmost their great and fast services.
The food is normal but the dessert is surprisingly small (maybe I have ordered the lunch setand cost about RM 40 and below. The dessert taste was roughly the same like the Family Mart green tea flavour ice cream and only RM 3 or less. However, still recommended if you are dessert lover
Strawberry cheesecake bingsu was yummy and full of taste (Ive had my fair share of tasteless bingsu elsewhere).Service was good and the bingsu was served fast!
the spicy chicken and cheese toppoki tasted good but surprising damn hot. The mango snow ice bingsoo is the best, the shaved ice was so fine like snow. you should really try this dessert in this place. #bestbingsuintown
The bingsu ice is good but not authentic compared to the really authentic ones in Korea. Service is good and attentive. The restaurant is on a second level
Beside desserts they still have lots of delicious dishes too 😋👍
Nice Korean Dessert Cafe, famous for their ice cream. Food wise, so so only, for those dishes we tried today.
