Very peaceful place with pleasant atmosphere.
People says that the temple was built by Gods.
Hamsaladeevi is famous tourist place where Ricer Krishna meets Bay Of Bengal...It is also famous for Venu Gopal(Lord Sri KrishnaSwamy temple. It is said to be 1000 years old temple. Also its foundation stones and walls are made up of mountain rocks. It is believed that half of the temple was built by Gods, while construing top of temple (Shikhrapeople of that village saw them so gods disappeared without completing top. So humans completed it (it made up of normal stones). As there are no mountains near by and as its very old temple, people started believing that it was started by Gods.Keeping this story aside, its a beautiful old temple. We can see 1000 year old sasans on the pillars of temple. Telugu script on those sasanas is 1000 years old and we cant translate/decode it now.
Pleasant temple to see, must add to your list when you visit any nearest places of this temple
It was a peaceful place with ancient sculptures and a place of magical calmness.
Nice place to spend your time. This is the place where river Krishna converges to bay of bengal. Note that there are very limited bus services to the beach area. Prefer to take any private transport like auto, cab from nearby areas like avanigadda, koduru. One can consider visiting these places, while visiting Mopidevi subramanyeswara swami temple.
The temple was built by gods and goddesses
Peaceful temple with more trees surrounded
Pleasant atmosphere
Everyone should visit in lifetime to reach divine foot of God after completing the life
Please check with Merain Police for permission to enter Reserve Forest, Beach and Sangamam Area.
Historic, coastal and beautiful
Famous temple in Andhra Pradesh.when you visit Mopidevi temple you can also reach this temple in auto or taxi.Bus service are very limited. You can have a trip to Bandar Krishna temple, Mopidevi Subramanya temple, and hamsaladevi Rukmini VenuGoplala Swami temple, beach in this place is good..
Temple opens everyday, the ambience of temple reserves our peace of mind
Ancient Temple and this Temple has saved thousands of villagers from diviseema uppena.Must visit the temple while traveling to mopidevi.Even After the floods the villagers didnt leave the place, infact they say that... Venugopala Swamy will save us from all the hurdles ,We born here and we die here...Their devotion towards god has no words to express...
Its really wonderful experience, one must have darshan of venugopal swami
Temple was 54 years old and peaceful but no development. Road transport roads are very very very bad my suggestion is not a memorable place to see
It is great opportunity to visit this temple where the Lord Venugopalaswamy here is Swayambhu and all our wishes fulfilled here, especially marriages and children. The krishna river merged into bay of bengal here. Very nice beach here.

Very peaceful, said to be built by Gods
Must visit place. With hundreds of year old architecture and vast blissful natural scenery around this place is must go. Only issue is with poor maintenance which may lead this place to be in ruins in coming decades. This is one if the few Venugopal temples in the world and visited by pilgrims from all over India.
Historical temple with good scenic view. One can enjoy the beauty of temple and Sangam (Merging PointKrishna River to Bay of Bengal. Nature is good to enjoy and pleasant in the evening times.
Ancient and powerfull temple.
Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple located in Hamasala Deevi village. This temple is one of the 108 Vishnu temples. There is a building erected near the point and if one climbs it for a bird’s eye view. Hamsaladeevi is at the bank of Krishna river. Hamsaladeevi is also Known as “Swanisland”. The river Krishsna branches into two streams at Puligadda and Aranigadda. The people of Andhra Pradesh workshiped river Krishanaveni. This temple acts a shelter for villagers during cyclones. It was informed that this saved many people during 1977 cyclone and 1864 cyclone.Good housekeeping and cleanliness is being maintained.Old statues are available at entrance of the temple, which are very beautiful.
Holy place. Venugopala swamy along with Rukmini and satyabhama are devotees here. Not much crowd. Hotels and restaurants not available here.
Very devotional place.it has great story. Its a temple built by gods in one day. Nice place.

Venugopala Swamy Temple is a anicent temple and said to be Swayamvyakta Temple. Located at Krishna River and Sagara sangamam place. Here good is said to be most powerful in fulfilling the prayers of devotees. A good place to worship. It is said that Devine people also visit this temple in midnight.
Its an amazing region in Andhra Pradesh, where the confluence of River Krishna happens with Bay of Bengal. It is a drive in beach as well.
A peaceful place to worship Sri Venugopala swamy. Looks pretty neglected by the respective government departments. Hardly one sign board in the entire route leading to the temple. Tourism department should look into developing the viable surrounding areas.
Centuries old temple with a lot of history. Stood the test of time & even survived the great natural disaster- diviseema catastrophic cyclone of 1977. Looks neglected a bit though. Can be developed with amenities to attract more tourists.
The temple is just 0.7 km away from Hamsaladeevi village in Diviseema Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh. Hamsaladeevi is also called as "Swan Island" on the banks of River Krishna and near Bay of Bengal.According to some ancient tale, Hamsaladeevi Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple was built in a single day by Devatas (Gods and Goddesses)( or may be aliens.Theres a secret passage in the Rajalakshmi ammavari temple that leads to the Sea .Very less crowded. Less connected with public transport. No food stalls. Make a proper plan or food and transport before leaving to this temple .
Peaceful ancient templeFull of parrots and dovesU can see the rare owls in the wholes of temple crestIt’s all about Venugopal swamy
Very nice place on the sea coast where river krishna joins the sea
Ancient temple. Venugopala Swamy here is beautiful and powerful. On the right side is Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. A small idol. But very beautiful and very powerful.Lots of inscriptions on the Mandapam pillars. Neglected and being replaced with new modern plates. Temple premises is vast and spacious. Archaka Swamy explained that there is a tunnel to the sea nearby. We were also told that the temple is one of the few structires that survived the fury of 1977 Diviseema Uppena(severe Cyclone)where thousands have lost their lives. Not only that about 200 people who took shelter in the temple are the only survivors in the area. A word of caution to those who visit the temple in the evenings. Swarm of mosquitoes attack pilgrims and we were told that mosquitoes come from MADA forests which are in the area.
Nice devotional temple & having fun in beach super bb & we can enjoy more than suryalanka beach & hamasala devi beach is awesome we can get aome food every body have they space love to watch everything & but only its single vechicle road its only problem
Said to be built by the gods this Temple has sculptured its place in the history of Hamsaladeevi. This temple is located on the banks of River Krishna and is constructed during the rule of Chola kings. Its is said that this Temple is 1000years old. Its the one of the 108temples of Lord Vishnu.Temple walls were carved with Sequences of Ramayana. But now this Temple looks like a normal temple with artificial paints. This Temple is located in hamsaladeevi. It is a very nice temple and is spacious and historical. In this Temple there are idols of Lord Vishnu and is an ideal place to bring in a summer holidays. It is also a very good place to bring children while visiting the hamsaladeevi beach and we like that very much.
Its a very big temple but not so huge , very power full god and also the sculpture is very unique. The god here is saligramam so every day they do abhishekam here. Very powerful and worth it.
Been to this temple a while back in 2007 was pleasant then with the waters surrounding making the place more serene.posting some pics from then.
Holy place. Must visit after krishna sangamam.
Superb temple, historic, ancient. Excellent arrangements for devotees. Beach is just five km away. It is a scenic beauty where Krishna river joins Sea. For a night stay, Avanigadda is the nearest & best place.
