Hampton by Hilton Stockton on Tees in Middlesbrough

Just stayed for one night but worth it, staff and service was very good, views out the windows also very good and looking forward to breakfast in the morning which is free.

Lovely room, food and drinks a little expensive but no more than youd expect to pay at a Hampton. Staff were very friendly, room spotless, beds comfy. Really lovely place to stay.

All in all it was good, the car park should be free for guests staying in the hotel.The staff is very friendly, and the English breakfast in the buffet style is included.

Lovely hotel with lovely staff and were very helpful with are rooms check in time was normal 3pm but they let us check in early as me and my colleague had to go to work but apart from that room was amazing and breakfast was nice would definitely recommend this place again thank you to the staff for your generosity

Modern building, clean and elegant. Lovely quiet room - giant tv! One minor issue resolved the same day. Fantastic staff - pleasant, welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful and always smiling! Delightful south facing private terrace, ideal for fresh air and solitude at this time of year. Highly recommend, hope I can get a booking here when work brings me back!

The room was clean and simple but well furnished. The staff members were friendly at check in and at the bar. I was disappointed with the evening food on offer (was bar service and the food just seemed re-heated). The breakfast choice was good though.

Really nice hotel, clean and new and the bedrooms are nice with big wall height windows. Beds are comfy sad showers have good pressure big tv in the rooms and a comfy arm chair. Breakfast let it down. Cheap food and overcooked

I had a love 4 day brake with my disabled mam at this hotel lovely friendly staff couldnt to enuf to help us and management were very helpful the rooms were lovely and clean and comfortable breakfast was very nice a good choice of things to have we will definitely go back and stay there agin

The staff are helpful and friendly, make you feel welcome from the minute you check in. The rooms are wonderful, clean, comfortable and spacious. The food is very good which include the free breakfast. The hotel itself is in a great location. If I’m ever coming to Stockton for anything, the Hilton will always be my first choice for somewhere to stay.You have a great team from the domestics to your management team, it’s a pleasure to stay here.

Room was great for the price, breakfast had a great selection and the breakfast staff were all very polite and happy to help. Location was just outside of the town centre so decent location.

Nice clean hotel , friendly staff and a good choice of self service breakfast.4 stars due to booking a family room and the sofa bed wasnt ready but once addressed this was seen to quickly over all a good hotel for the price.

On a business trip for work. I stayed five nights. It would of been a five star rating but due to the lack of staff on the bar on an evening. I found there was quite a wait for to order food and drinks at certain times and the menu is OK but there is not alot of choice. The meals werent what I would class as eat with your eyes meal, they remind me a bit of something wetherspoon would do. Ive attached a couple of pictures to my review. Beautiful place, rooms are immaculate the cleaners do a fabulous job everyday and my bed is all tucked in when I come back to my room fresh teas coffee and milk daily. The staff are so friendly and I like the added security of having to use a card to get access to the lift. All in all I would stay here again for the comfort, location and the service.

I have stayed here on 2 occasions over the past two month both times for a couple of days , the service from staff has been first class and the rooms have been immaculate with really comfortable beds on both occasions. Breakfast was good but the touch sensitive coffee/Latte machines can be a bit temperamental until you get the hang of using them.I never really tried much from the evening meals from the 24/7 menu but I did try the special one night, it was a butter chicken curry with basmati rice and pitta bread, this was perfect. Overall both my stays were really good and everyone made you feel welcome.Thank you

Stayed here for one night. Room was nice. Clean and well presented. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was reasonable. I did not not think too much of the choice of meals for dinner and was a bit dissapointed in my burger and fries. The pizza looked good though and I wish I had picked that instead. A reasonable nights sleep.

All is good. Its new, modern hotel.Good breakfast and OK restaurant in general.It has fast internet and on top of that it has 4 car chargers for EV owners.From now on I am trying to book this hotel exclusively

Nice hotel, fairly new. Settled bill on departure, in course of 5 days after leaving 3 charges were made to our card. Has now been refunded but should never had happened.

We stayed in several hotels and guest houses on our recent trip to Scotland and England but this place was the worst experience. Although the buffet style breakfast was quite good, we were unable to take a shower for two days due to a clogged overflowing shower tub drain. We mentioned this to the front desk staff on our first day and they said it would be dealt with the next business day, but it was not taken care of. Not being able to shower or bathe ruined our stay. The modern exterior is a facade.

an Hilton hotel in town. New, the two single room is ok, brand new, but all the space is mainly occupied by two large single bed. No minifridge. No sleppers available in the room and in the hotel upon request. Shower room very good size. Service not used a lot, but all the personnel is friendly. Available 24hr Gym. Not very clear how works the 24hr snack service unless you ask. Breakfast complete and in order. Scramble eggs from powder perhaps. The location in Stockton-on-Tees is well placed close to High Street and river walks.

We stayed for one night in a twin room. Hotel and rooms look like the photos. Staff were friendly & there’s a local taxi service that will pick up/drop off from car park. We were charged £5 per car to park in the secure car park.The room had an iron, hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities.The beds and pillows were really comfortable and bedroom/bathroom really clean.We ordered from the dinner menu - food was very reasonably priced and tasted delicious. We weren’t so keen on breakfast though - The selection was good but the hot food tasted really bland and hot drinks come out of a machine.Overall, we would stay again as it was good value for money & a great experience.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The people who work there were so lovely and accommodating. I was very impressed with the whole experience. The breakfast choice is amazing and the rooms are very clean and very comfortable. 100% would recommend.

Yes, I agree with other reviews on here. The rooms are very good, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is good. However, having had a 3 night stay here due to work commitments, the evening meals leave a lot to be desired. In fact its really just a normal pub grub menu. The lamb Rogan Josh curry had no meat in it. I did get a pizza to replace it but the staff confessed that the food is microwaved. Not the image one would expect from the Hilton. Would have to seriously think about staying here again.

First time here but really impresses. Lovely rooms, very comfy and well appointed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was the usual great selection from Hampton, was very busy so would get down early if possible to avoid the queues. Parking next to hotel was excellent and only £5 per day. Would 100% stay here again, great hotel and staff.

Well what can i say, we stayed here for 3 days due to seeing the killers at riverside stadium, i am glad that the great British service and hospitality is alive and well here, makes you prod to be British. Where to start? the staff all of them were amazing they could not do enough for you, they just let you get on with your stay which is what we all ask for, breakfast time was amazing everything you need and not being hassled by any staff, they just allow you to get your breakfast and enjoy it in piece, they made sure all areas were clean and the food was constantly topped us as guest came and went. The hotel and rooms are so clean which is a big thing for us. I have stayed at numerous hotels all over the UK for work, business and pleasure and i can say that here has been the best customer service experience we have had, other hotels may have an hand full that are really customer focused but here they all were like that, nothing was too much trouble and they were sincere and so polite with it. I would definitely stay here again, well done the all the staff at Hampton by Hilton Stockton-on-tees, Thanks guys for making our stay to see a top band so amazing John & Daph

Newly build hotel. Clean and fresh, and well located.. Breakfast is good and plentiful. Hotel staff are friendly. Only downside is the bedroom wall not well insulated. You can hear the next room talking and people walking above. Car parking , during peak period can be challenging to get a place to park.

This hotel is obviously fairly new and is only 2 minutes from Stockton High Street. The parking is secure, and close to the entrance. Everything is brightly decorated and clean. The staff are attentive. The rooms have comfortable beds and are spacious. The bathrooms are above average in terms of size, fitments and decoration. Breakfast is all you can eat buffet style. We had a lovely one night stay after a theatre show. Prices are not too expensive for the quality of the hotel.

Stayed here while on a 4 day training course room was great loved the shower, couldnt fault the breakfast great choice. The staff i couldnt fault made me feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble very genuine people well done, limited menu at night but not the end of the world, Would definitely recommend staying here ❤️

Myself and my wife stayed the night recently and our experience was not the best.When we booked online booking was unavailable and the staff member who took the booking assured us that everything was included and yet on the day of checkout we had to pay a carpark surcharge of £5 something that was never mentioned to us.My wife is disabled and we spent 10 minutes when booking in filling out a questionnaire regarding health issues, something that I feel shouldnt be done in a public area as it is private.Within one hour of our arrival the power to the room went off, fortunately we were heading out at the time. On our return we found out that we should have been given a cars for the room that supplies power to the room.I would not choose to stay again.

Brilliant stay.They forgot to mention that you will be charged twice for your stay. For no reason. Which put me in an unplanned overdraft. I’m still waiting on my money. 😩What a joke of a company shut this shame of a hotel down ASAP.

Great Staff Helpful and friendly. the Hotel is Modern and clean. Parking available. The Hotel room was Immaculate everything in its place. Absolutely no complaints from me on staying in this hotel.

Very well presented hotel, lovely and clean. Our room had a very comfy bed and the shower had good heat & pressure.Only problem was a very slow check in. Hotels should also offer free parking to paying guests!!

Clean, modern, friendly hotel. But we found bed to be rock hard. The floor would have been more comfy. Great location though and nice hotel but disappointed with bed compared to other hotels I have stayed in.

This is an outstanding hotel with great facilities and professional staff. I would highly recommend the clean and welcoming environment and pleasant customer experience.There are a limited number of good quality hotels within easy driving distance so this is now my hotel of choice when I visit Teesside in the future.

Great overnight stay, really friendly staff who gave us a very warm welcome. The room was superb, modern, very clean, spacious with a very smart bathroom. Breakfast was very good with a good choice. If your coming up to the Stockton area, you wont find a better place to stay.

Have stayed here three times now as an overnight stop when visiting the Georgian theatre to watch a band. Very modern, nice rooms with a good view from the high floors. The river view is great. Staff very friendly, would recommend.

I am sorry with my rating but I cannot say or feel I stayed at a Hilton. I spent a lot of money and stayed in a very cold bedroom. The breakfast was nothing to shout about. There was no evening meal in restaurant and no bar service for hotel residence.Good points hotel room was large with good view and comfortable bed and pillows.Management have not responded to my complaint.

I met with friends at this Hotel for a reunion and we couldnt have been better looked after . Good comfy rooms, and help yourself brekkie. I would stay again without a doubt. The staff were always polite and helpful. It is also easy to get to and in walking distance to the town centre.

Hotel was clean and tidy throughout, plentiful breakfast selection and excellent staff.Room had all we needed for a short day and couldnt fault the facilities. Iron and board, hair dryer, good shower, big flat screen TV lots of charging sockets for your mobile devices, comfy beds etc.Did not wander too far into Stockton itself, but the river area nearby provides pleasant views as you stretch your legs for a casual stroll.

Cheap and cheerful is the order of the day.. If £120 a night for a fairly basic hotel is cheerful. Stayed here for 2 nights, Staff were pleasant if a little unremarkable. Rooms were well furnished, nice shower and fairly modern. They advertise the rooms as Queen which would suggest to me you get a queen size bed.. You dont, you get a double and a fairly uncomfortable double at that. I was hoping that the bed at least wouldve been faultless and comfortable but I was a little disappointed by that. Breakfast was again unremarkable.. Edible, hectic but appreciated. Sort the beds out, you have yourself a nice little hotel.

Myself and my partner stayed over for a night for our anniversary. The staff were welcoming and nothing was ever too much. We had a lovely meal on the evening which we both enjoyed, the food was really tasty. Our room was clean, comfortable and much bigger than I expected. Overall our stay was perfect and we would definitely go again and recommend to others.

Very nice hotel with friendly helpful staff, we had a room overlooking the river which was lovely. They had a reduced menu due to covid but the food we had was good and not overpriced. A couple of small niggles not enough drawers/wardrobe space and hangers. We were pleasantly surprised to find that there was storage for our bikes so we could leave them when we went out in the car. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
