Very nice, they are remodeling first floor, room a little small with queen size beds.

No service! Had to call the front desk just to get someone to come to the front desk! No breakfast. No bold coffee previously standard. No cookies or fruit for the room. Two times the price from just a few months ago. At least my car was still in the parking lot the next morning.

Even while under construction this was a great hotel. Service was top notch, rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was great.

Hotel did not warn us about ongoing construction. When we checked in, we were told construction noise would begin at 8:00 and last until 7:00pm. We were also told the hotel was going to shut the water off during the day. We were staying over a weekend. When we asked to speak to a manger, we were told they wouldnt be back until Monday. There was construction noise all day Saturday and yep....they turned off the water making it difficult to dress for our event Saturday night. I will never stay there again.....

Location was about the only good thing about this hotel. Ive stayed in quite a few Hamptons and this one was below par. The parking lot was full of constructions and trash containers, the bathrooms were dingy, it took forever for the front desk to help us by phone or in person. The room phone wasnt working the whole time we were there so I missed a wake up call and the phone itself didnt look like it had been cleaned in years. We really expected more from A Hampton Inn.

I can’t see why anybody would want to stay here after seeing the place. I booked a suite and when I get in the room it was a standard room. I paid upfront btw no getting out. Call the girl at the front desk and explain how I booked a king suite on the phone. She informed me they had no suites at that property. So I decided to stay and that was a bad decision. Nastiest hotel room I’ve ever been in in my life hands-down. I put sheets down on the floor just to walk with my bare feet because it was that nasty. Dust all over the wood in the bathroom thick dust bathtub had a hair all in it hair on the ceiling stuck. Just an absolute horrible experience. My wife emailed the general manager before we left a review with no response. So here it is

Rooms were clean but wallpaper peeling off walls, mold around bath tub room had an antiseptic smell every time you walk into the room, bathtub water constantly running.

Room is not clean. Used coke can in corner of room. Hairs in bathroom. Stained carpeting. Heating/cooling not working properly. Fan would not work on “continuous”. Made the mistake of looking at the outlet behind the nightstand…so dirty. Very tired-looking facility. I know they’re starting a renovation on March 28th, and it’s long overdue. There was a fan in the hallway for a roof leak. Wallpaper was bubbling off. Uneven floors. This is by far the worst Hampton Inn we’ve ever stay at, and we stay in them frequently for their consistency. Stay away from this one.

This place is really outdated and overpriced. You can stay in much newer hotels for same rate up closer to interstate. Our room had a bad moldy or musky smell. Empty coke bottles under bed so that brings into question how thoroughly the rooms are cleaned. Just overall needs to be remodeled from top to bottom. Water was hot and admit the bed was comfortable and the bedding was nice. Parking lot seemed not nearly lit enough at night and kinda sketchy. I do not recommend and will personally never stay here again.

All I can say is out of the 5 years I’ve worked for Hilton I’ve NEVER EVER GOTTEN A PHONECALL FROM HILTON ! On this day I received a call instantly yelling at me and saying she was gonna inform me on the rules and that she’s gonna report me to Hilton ! Then explained that because I got a room for my cousin and his wife that I was breaking the rules and I had to be there to stay with them!?!?!? Again family and friends discount!!!!? Not an employee rate discount!? This phonecall immediately got worse as I tried explaining I do not need to be with anyone under my family and friends and she started yelling CAN I FINISH TALKING! I’m usually not a complainer but holy hell this hotel needs to replace that woman. By far the worse customer service I’ve ever experienced from a hotel stay.

We stayed 6 days, full hot breakfasts daily were excellent and nicely served. Coffee, tea always available in welcoming lobby and nice conversation area. River nearby.

This is where we go for long weekend stay-cations. This is our third visit. So far rooms have been clean, and the staff has been friendly and helpful. The 3 star rating is because of two main factors. Firstly, the rooms are so different that we dont know what well get until were in the room. Will there be a microwave and fridge? We dont know until we walk in because some rooms have them and some dont. Maybe if you call and reserve the room yourself you can ask. I dont know. We use whatever the cheapest 3rd party booker is and never know what well get. One single king room has a microwave and one doesnt. Seems to be a coin toss. One room may have a cool little phone charging station, another wont. Who knows? The second thing is that the hotel is a little dated. The vending machines only take cash. Who carries cash anymore? The coffee pots in the rooms should use k cups. Stuff like that. Little out of date issues. This stay the internet is down. Hoping that gets fixed soon. I only have 2 bars!

Nice updated hotel, close to amenities. Sheets and blankets were clean, room was clean. Mattress cover wasnt the cleanest. Hall carpet was stained and dingy but the rooms were nice and we slept well. Beds were comfy.

My family and I love staying at Hampton Inn and we were looking forward to staying here because we love Gadsden. I was shocked at how dirty the hotel was. The carpet in the hallways are very dingy and stained. We had to call someone up to clean the hair and other unknown items off of our toilet. There was a used tissue, mold under the fridge, and a taped up electrical cord under the AC. The fridge made so much noise we had to turn up the tv to drown out the noise. Very disappointed.

Super clean and very friendly staff. Breakfast was very tasty and accommodations were comfortable. Only issues were tv only getting three stations for some reason and non-working in room phone, but not big issues with tech today. Great stay!

Horrible experience! Went for a night away without our kids only for it to be nothing but trouble since checking out. The amount we paid for the room cleared our account and and the following day we had a even higher amount placed on hold. Staff at this location is absolutely no help at all. And in fact RUDE. They dont want to admit to their mistake. Blamed it on booking.com, then blamed it on our bank. Ive went to my bank and the hotel is the one who placed the hold even though they say its not them. Its the bank or booking.com and there is nothing they can do. Despite showing them my banking account, they said well we dont know its your banks fault. And like Ive tried to explain to them and everyone else my bank cannot placr funds on hold without a request from the merchant. It has been 5 days with nothing being done to fix this issue. Despite staff from the hotel telling us we would have our money back in 48hrs. So unless you want to pay 197$ for a room, then have another 221$ placed on hold for who knows how many days for no reason or explanation at all, or waste your hard earned money, do NOT stay at this location!

The room and bed were standard Hampton fare (read perfectly fine). There was always a cigarette smell in the hallway coming out of the elevator (maybe smoking rooms should be on the end??). The breakfast options were VERY limited compared to other Hamptons. Would probably look for a different property next time.

So CLEAN!!!! Best smoking room I have ever stayed in didn’t smell like smoke at all!! Front desk was so helpful at check in with helping me get my bag from my van, I am disabled, didn’t give me any issues with my service dog!!!!! At first I was worried about location but it’s GREAT hotel!!!! I will 100% stay here again! So CLEAN I mean the whole hotel smells clean and sanitized!!!!!! Also the soap is great Neutrogena!!!!!!!

The rooms and spacious and very clean and nice but lets be honest.... The prices are unbelievable. There is no reason the price shouldnt be this much they dont offer anything extra or special than a regular hotel room has... I would personally recommend this business and enjoy your stay in Gadsden but it wouldnt be my first pick! Just saying.
