Warm, easygoing stop offering brick-oven pies plus pasta, burgers, beers, wine & cocktails.
Seafood bisque, California salad, and gnocchi are always great.
Very nice employees, the food and spirits side is awesome. Last time I was there they had live music and I tried to quail and it was really good.
The best.
We went there on Saturday for my SIL birthday. The waiter was not very friendly. He reprimanded my Husband for getting a beer at the bar which we were all confused by because it is something we’ve done before at other restaurants and the bartender didn’t seem to think anything about it either. He would also forget things and ask what we ordered again multiple times and he seemed like he was annoyed at us the entire time, it was really uncomfortable.
Great atmosphere and good food! Thanks
Great service, but more importantly amazing food!!
Very excellent service, excellent food and excellent environment. This place deserves more attention. Diana is a great waitress! Thank you for being a great restaurant.
Took longer than it should have considering how empty the restaurant was. Food was alright, but the chicken Alfredo left a sour taste in my mouth.
Very friendly staff and out of this world delicious mozzarella balls and calzones overflowing with cheese and goodness. A yummy explosion in your mouth. Almost impossible to finish all in one sitting; a take out box is a must. Will definitely be back when we are in the area.
Vegetarian pizza was great. Loved the crust.
Food is good, but it is pricey for a pizza joint. They seem to worry about the bar side more than the pizzeria side. So be prepared to wait
We sat outside on a less toasty night. There was a good breeze out there on the side walk. The Burger was great, and the Seafood Spinach Artichoke dip was cheesy! The Georgia Peach Punch was delicious!
Awesome place. If you (as I didmiss the onion rings that were served @ the Chow Time drive in, you will be pleasantly surprised! Great atmosphere & fare!
TERRIBLE SERVICEThe two of us decided to stop by Hamiltons Pizzeria Friday afternoon for a cocktail and some pizza, as we have done in the past. When we got there, I went in the pizza side and asked if we could sit outside. The server stated we could and asked how many. I stated two. I went back outside and sat with my husband at a sidewalk table. We waited, and waited and waited. After about 15 minutes with no water, no drink order and no menus, we started looking for another restaurant. After another 5 minutes with no service, a server from the Hamiltons side finally came out and asked if we wanted to eat from the Pizzeria. I told her yes, and she said she would let them know. I told her I already had about 20 minutes ago. We continued to wait another 5 minutes, with no service. At that point, we left and ate somewhere else. Ill be hard pressed to go back to Hamiltons and will let others know the service is unsatisfactory, at best.
I loved everything about it. Atmosphere ✅Food ✅Server ✅Had live entertainment later into our dinner which was perfect!
Everyone here done a great job, despite being busy.We had a good time and the food was great.
This place used to be good. The past few times Ive had food from here has been always been cold! Will not be coming back!
We used to eat pizza there once a week. Loved it. But, the last few times the pizza was way too thin and undercooked. Craving their pizza, but hesitant to go back.
The GNOCCHI! Its worth it just for that. Weve also had the flatbread appetizer, shrimp scampi, burgers, and the mushroom ravioli (which I wouldnt recommend: WAY too much sauce). But overall Id definitely recommend. Most of the servers are very knowledgeable, super fresh ingredients, and less than $200 for dinner for 4 including drinks, appetizer, and tip.
My favorite place to get pizza & pasta. They also have amazing cocktails!
Good food. Will try to come here again when the restaurant is not so busy
First time visiting here. Mozzarella bites are to die for. Yummy. Pizza is the best Ive had in a while.
So one worker from there had us come for a party dinner at this place. It was going great until we had to wait roughly two hours for our food. I understand we had a good amount of people but two hours seemed extreme since we had plans afterwards. By the time we got our food, half of our food was cold. When we were handed our checks, we had realized we were being overcharged. We asked why we were being charged this much as on the menu it had not been that much. We were told the prices had gone up, but the menus still had the old prices. I asked to be charged by what was on the menu, as I would not have ordered what I ordered, and they said no. So all in all, it was an entire waste of time and money.
We order the pizza to go and it’s always fresh and has great flavor. But the wait time is always around 30 mins so be ready to wait.
We ate at The Pizzeria at Hamiltons. The wood fired pizza is PERFECT! We also had the beer battered mozzarella bites from the appetizer menu and they were soooo good!
Ate there tonight worst meal ever had there. Tomato soup was thick as marinara called to tell them got a rude person who said it was soup. I have eaten thier tomato basil soup many times used be the best also chicken fingers were tiny and overcooked. Too pricy for quality of food. Won’t be eating there again
Service was great no complaints. BUT the food here is absolutely mediocre, expensive food, that tasted burnt, and had no flavor. Will never come here again. Would pay to see this place on kitchen nightmares everyone who ate with me are in the same page, I’ve never been this disappointed in a restaurant before.
Very good food & the atmosphere is great. Service was top notch, the drinks were great & outside dining when possible is just a plus. Have eaten there several times and I have no complaints.
Hate the loud music they blast on the weekends! Food is good but they have awful musicians! The prince imitator they had tonight was beyond terrible!
Wife and I went here on Saturday afternoon. They seemed short staffed but the waiter was awesome so no complaints!I ordered the Cuban sandwich which was really good. I love to try Cubans at different restaurants and this one is definitely good. They have hand cut fries as well, but they were a tad over cooked and not crispy crunchy. My wife got the chicken sandwich which was good. Nothing to ride home about though. She got the onion rings as well which were cooked nicely.Overall a good experience and willing to go back and try more food.
Service very regular almost bad. The food is expensive for what it is. Pizza sauce taste cheap and the lasagna was saggy and the sauce again taste like sauce from a can. The place is nice and clean.
I travel for business to Dalton on a regular basis. A friend recommended Hamiltons, so I tried it on Wednesday, it was pretty good. I went back on Thursday and met the owner, she is friendly lady.I will definitely visit again!
Beautiful setting in the mountains with a great view. It appeared the staff was constantly checking on everything. The area was great for a large gathering/wedding with several areas to congregate.
Huge portions! Mostly a pizza place, but I had a pulled pork sandwich that was pretty good. Beer and wine available, they gave it to us to go. I was pleased we werent required to consume it on site.
I havent tried the other part of the restaurant, but the pizzeria was a bit disappointing. The pizzas felt like they were mediocre, frozen store-bought ones. However, the service was good, and we did have high hopes for the main meal when we tried our appetizers, the garlic knots.
My sons loved the pizza, garlic knots, and wings. Gave them a rating of 10, 10, 9.5. :)And I was able to enjoy a healthy salad. We adored eating outside after being inside at the office / school all day long.
The atmosphere is great. Food is uninspired, expensive, and tasteless. We got the chicken piccata and the apricot chicken. The chicken piccata sauce relied too heavily on butter and there was no flavor other than butter. The chicken, while perfectly done and juicy, had no seasoning whatsoever. It was chicken breaded in flour. The apricot chicken was unseasoned and relied to heavily upon the apricot jam to give it flavor. The breadsticks are chewy and seem to be made with a naan bread recipe, not knocking it, but an odd choice considering the menu has no other Indian inspired recipes on it. We ordered desert and were served a beautiful plate of tiramisu, however when we started to dig in, it was dry and frozen in the center, so I know it wasn’t fresh. That’s entirely unfortunate considering our tab was almost 100, a price I would gladly have paid without complaint had my food been better. Servers are great, very hospitable, and stay busy. Drinks were great, but hit and miss on flavor as well. Overall, not a great experience. I probably won’t go back.
Great BLT sandwich with fresh ingredients.Tomato soup also very goodTuna whit salada very fresh and tasted great
I’ve eaten at Hamilton’s a few times. It’s always just an “eh” experience. Each time the waiter/waitress has been pretty consumed with hanging out with other coworkers by the bar. Which is perfectly fine unless you consistently have to wait awhile to place your order, get refills, order dessert, etc. 😬The environment is really nice and clean. If you aren’t on a schedule, it’s a neat space to hang out. I’ve been twice when there was live music which was very fun. It also stays open later than a lot of the other downtown restaurants which is a plus. I’ve never found myself overly impressed by the food, but this time I had the coconut cake, and it was delicious.
Have been here a few times. Food has always been good. But on Feb.6th was a different experience. Took forever to get waited on. Then once order was taken had to wait almost an hour for our food! Had to go to the counter to ask for refills on beverages. Food finally came, then couldnt have a conversation with our friends because of the placement of a damn speaker! Music was so loud! We were in the pizzeria side and the band was in the other side. Why they felt that our side needed to hear was beyond me. The music itself wasnt bad but the speakers were on a chair right by our table. Geez put it up on the wall. Felt sorry for our waitress. She and one other girl was trying to wait on several customers. Get some help! Probably wont be back.
Been a very long time since I have eaten here and we were very disappointed. Our food was mediocre at best. Meals were like frozen, cooked in the microwave. Bread sticks were over cooked. $46 for a this meal was very overpriced. Would have loved to have given this restaurant a good review, but with this quality I just can’t do it.
Beer selection is pretty good, but I was not impressed with the pizza. The bottom had an incredible amount of ash or something, as if the oven is in a desperate need of cleaning. Ill be staying a loyal Cherokee customer.
Delicious 😋. Goat cheese, onion, pepperoni, tomatoes, cherry peppers, & basil.
Ive visited Hamiltons several times, most every visit is a great experience. Good variety on the menu, a bit pricey, but overall good food. Nice beer selection, love having a place where I can get a Guinness.
Less flour on the bottom of the pizza other then that it was pretty good.... just got the chicken alfredo not worth the price tag its pretty flavorless and i asked for my chicken tenders to be cut up in and it was not it just placed on top uncut im so mad i left didnt even bother to go back in and complain 😡
Food was good the service was ok but the pizzeria was a little on the dirty side and the prices were a little steep
All I have to say about Hamiltons is... YUM! Everything from their pizza to their salmon is delicious. Great menu selection and the full bar has everything you could ever dream of! Each server I have had has been so sweet and professional.
Laid back. Good place to chill. Food was ok, service was good, the mixed drinks, not great. Next time might just go with wine.
Amazing service and food. If you are a pizza lover you must visit this place.
Our hotel clerk gave a glowing review of Oakwood Cafe, so we went to find it. We were not disappointed. There is a friendly atmoshphere in a small town style.
