The only thing that I didnt like tat they can smoke inside

Was there last night to play some pool and some guy snorted a line of coke right next to me then proceeded to spill it on the floor and brush it under the table. Also the bartender couldnt make any of the drinks we wanted. Then they tasted awful when we finally got them.

We love Jesse! Lots of regulars.

Smells of cigarettes so bad!!! Dont go there If that bothers you as it did me!

Great bar with 6 pool tables. Weekend tournaments are a blast.

from my experience this place is not a grill and that sign needs to be taken down for misleading they only have junk snacks

Its The Legendary Hambone. Smoking allowed here, as the front windows are screens. Liquor on garage shelves. Beer is a bit cooler than room temp. Pizza served here is frozen. You come here to be yourself, have reasonably priced booze, shoot pool, maybe karaoke. The ultimate dive bar. It succeeds at what it is meant to be. The lighted sign just says "ham". Cuz its salty, cheap, bad for ya, but fills ya up, and goes with any meal (Breakfast, lunch, dinner, midnight snack)

I was in town for a long minute and was in need of a couple of beers to knock off the road dust. Rode by this place and pulled in. Only two other people were there seeing how it was early in the day. Saying nothing bad about smokers but if your not a smoker this place isnt for you. I believe there were only 3 taps for draft beer but it looked like their mixed drinks is where they shine as in they had a large selection of liquor. I only stayed for one bottle of beer because Im not a smoker and didnt need a headache for the rest of my trip.

Friendly place to play pool, bartender is on point, she is really good at her job

Our bartender Ashley was great, knew what kinda drinks to make us based off what we told her, the music was good too and plenty of pool tables. Laid back atmosphere, its a good bar.

Couldnt stay long but it has a light easy going atmosphere. Great dive Barr if thats what your looking for.

Nice place service is good and drinks are nice price...good place to have date night or just relax and have few drinks.

This was the best experience I have been to at ANY BAR! I went with my sister in law Lisa and she said everyone is treated like family and it was so clear that its a family everyone was amazing came up to me introducing themselves I will definitely be back and I live in Glendale but it will be worth the trip! We had Karaoke and the drinks were awesome as well as the service!

Its the best hole in the wall ever! Great people, everyone was having fun! Karaoke host is super nice & recognized all the singers. The bartender is on top of it & gets you drinks right away! Plus its great drink prices make it a cheap night out. I almost hate telling about this little secret!

This is a staple in Mesa and is so underated. We went in on a last minute decision to have a beer. We were so relaxed the entire time we were there. It is a classic place that has managed to manuever through the changing restrictions.

Always a great place to go and practice your pool skills as well as meet other pool players. Drink prices are reasonable and because they dont have any windows or only window screens in the front you get to smoke inside. Theres usually not a big crowd and its in a very tiny little strip center off main just east of stapley. I believe you can park in the back as well as enter from the back side. If youre a single male and thinking this is a place to go though to find women unfortunately its usually a sausage festival in that place. Unfortunately the wife and I only go there when theres really no other place to go.

My NOW husband took me here on a first date. Not knowing he was trying to scare me…. I threw Journey on the juke box and played pool while drinking a few shots of tequila and had a fabulous time….. come one come all!

There are very few bars where you can smoke inside and not worry about wearing a mask and the prices arent too much

Great place to shoot pool well kept tables they make really good mixed drinks and nice enough staff to make you wanna come back. Although dont go there hungry and expect to get something to eat cause there is nothing except chips and peanut

Smokey dive bar. Service was good, and there are ample pool tables, which are decent. If there was some sort of forced outside air flow to blow the smoke out this place would be much better, but I visited in January and they just kept the doors open which wasnt enough.

First time in the place. Its great cuz you can smoke inside & they have a great selection for karaoke. The bartender, Tara was so dope & made the best drinks! Ill most likely be back.

Small town attitude. Which is great with me. Through in the big city convenience. 4 blocks from my house. The whole place is smoking. Does it get any better than than that. Im 56 and my friend is 65. It felt like a few of the older Kingman bars. That is a good thing. Felt right at home . Im sure they will be seeing more of us.

Ive been in a couple of times. Dont let the sign out front fool you, they dont serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, if you just want to hang out and have a beer, this is a good place to go. The bartender is is very friendly.

My friend and I stopped and had a few beers after motorcycle on main. Okay place. Bartender was awesome and was out with our beers quickly. We shouldve taken the chance with the $8 pizza.

Once youre a regular you are family or a Hamboner as per the lingo. Great atmosphere, 6 pool tables with tournaments every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. Karaoke every Thurs and Sat night running from 9 til last call.

I went here randomly one night to visit a friend. This place has had a pool tournament that night and pretty cheap drinks. Its definitely a tshirt and jean type of place but everyone I encountered were really nice. It was comfortable and The bartender was really cool. They play music and whatever game or nascar race etc.. thats going on that night is featured on their numerous tvs. And for you smokers, you can smoke in this bar! Me being a smoker, i was not forced to go outside in this heat which i liked. Its a cool place to go if youre going with your friends but not to just go alone to meet people.

It deserves 5 stars but, I mean, it is just a dive bar. As a smoker the indoor smoking is a plus. Bartenders are always kind and make drinks to standard. I came mid afternoon after multiple drinks the night before and the bar tender made my ramen soup packet I brought since there wasnt anymore pizza. The staff exceeds expectations for a dive bar. The bathrooms dont have any stall doors, so Im never really comfortable using the restroom. Hence my rating. If you like dive bars this is definitely a place to visit.

Ive been going to this bar since I was a kid with my parents to sing kareoke! I still love this bar as an adult! Great service, friendly staff and always nice crowd of chill people! Plus its the only bar you can still smoke in! Oh and their pool tournaments are a lot of fun as well! Definatly a hidden Mesa treasure!!

Dive dive dive its a pool hall no its a karaoke bar. No its a dive bar. It a neighborhood local watering hole by day and a poolhall/karaoke bar at night. Right off the main drag amongst the shopping areas. But right against the residential neighborhood behind and around the corner from it.Prices were standard for mix drinks from the nineties which is good. Plenty of pool tables no arcades but One They had two. But my friend overloaded and the programing it went out in the middle of her game. Surprising though one thing important it is a smoking joint. Yes cigar and cigarettes. A smoke establishment. But no fear they have another room you can use adjacent on the other side of the building that is smoke free. And even has its own tables back there as well.Plenty of parking and few seats to stand on. Enjoy

The Ham Bone was voted "best dive bar in town" two years in a row by the new times and rightly so! Every hour and day there is specials! Tvs all over changed at request( direct tv). Pool tables with tournaments and leagues on certain days too! Juke box will play your favorite hits and karaoke on Saturday night draws a fun crowd! This is the bar to bring your group for cheap drinks and a great time! Come as you are and be sure to meet some great people! Pizza us served daily but takeout and order in OK too! Oh yeah and you can smoke in the bar, how cool is that!? What are you waiting for? :)

If you love dive bars where you can smoke, shoot pool or darts, listen to music or join in karaoke and pool tournaments this is the place for you. Local bar with local patrons. Affordable prices and down and dirty atmosphere. Its the best!!!

Really need to talk to the owner of this place. Your waitress on the night of may 1st was the rudest bartender I have ever dealt with. She tried to kick us out because a mug fell and broke. It was set on the counter and tipped over. She acted like it was intentionally thrown to the floor. Cost her owner more money than that one mug cost. Piss poor attitude.

My favorite dive bar. Drinks are priced well pool tables are in good shape. Allowed to smoke inside. I am not a smoker but my friends are so is nice to not have to go outside when ever they wish to smoke.

Good dive bar, if your a smoker or dont mind the stuff. Great evening service, tho not much in the way of food and the bathrooms could use stall doors. But all N all not a bad place.

Laid back patio bar, perfect for all the smokers. They have great prices, perfect for a lower income, casual blue collar type crowd. Not rowdy, and a Saturday is the best night, karaoke.They also have pool tournaments Sunday afternoons where the bar matches the pot.

It was an ok place. The drinks are cheap and I really like that they had different games we could play such as pool, darts, and the computer games on the bar top. The place is smelly but thats expected since you can smoke inside. It felt like the tables havent been wiped down for days and the pool sticks felt gross as well. We only stayed for about 30 minutes because some weird guy kept waving at my friend making her uncomfortable and another guy came up to me to tell me was "holding" which didnt sound like a safe environment to be in. We probably wont be returning.
