Good budget hotel to stay at, comfy bed and clean room. There is a cafe inside the hotel and big lobby.If you love hawkers, its located right behind the hotel with 1min walk, serves dimsum and many other food from 530am onwards.

Hard to get parking...no hotel parking

Nearest town..simple room..just ok

everything was alright. clean and cozy. just dont take the breakfast, is not worth it.

This is fine for a night trip in JB. Room is cleaned. Toilet with bidet and attached bathtub. You may request a room with a queen size bed and 2 super single bed if you have big family.

Room clean and very comfy. The only thing I dont like is, no reserved parking for hotel guest.We booked this hotel during weekends, so no parking fee.Breakfast food sedap and ada banyak option for adults and kids 👍

Stayed here about 6 years ago but it now looks more upmarket then before. Rooms were good except that I got one without a window. Parking can be tight during the day time as there are other shoplots operating and it is a public carpark system. All the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Convenient food court 2 minutes walk away behind the hotel with a great choice of quality food and friendly pricing. The only drawback was the combination normal and rainfall shower that had its selector switch spoiled so you had both showers on at the same time, unfortunately we only found out late in the evening so did not have the chance to get it fix. All in all a very decent and nice hotel to stay in .

Very old and run down hotel so dont be deceived by the pics they posted. The hotel is poorly maintained especially in its cleanliness. We booked the family room and we found mould on the toilet ceiling, on the toilet’s door. Stains on the chair and curtains, just simply horrible. So glad that it was just only for one night. First and the last.(Seems like they also disabled photos to be uploaded for review!)

the room a little bit berbau. u have to buy even a bottle of mineral water in the room.

Overall rooms and beds and linens and water bottles excellent 👍. Breakfast tak best sebab scramble eggs / eggs jarang ada tapi nasi lemak dan bubur nasi okay. Only thing i am unhappy are the hotel security people who do not look after the wheelchair access well enough

Run down building from the moment you enter the lobby. It doesn’t look exactly like the photo in the Agoda or their own page.Very troublesome to insisted need cash RM50 for deposit as I need to walk to the nearest mall to withdraw cash for it. Can’t you all hold the charges to the card instead?🚩🚩 🚩Upon enter the room; you can see the light is dim and not well light up. Especially the inner room and the toilet.Room is smell with cigarette - probably last time someone smoke and stain the carpet.TV channel is limited with repeat show. Just on your own Netflix will be better.For the buffet breakfast - average choices and for the staff need to be reminded to wear that face mask on when their on duty on the floor.Overall, 1 star out of 5.Won’t come back or recommend anyone to come here.

Friendly reception and good service as well very clean room stay.

$28 a night for 1 double bed 1 single bed room. Can’t complain due to price. Lobby and corridor disgusting smell. Hotel room is ok and clean “looking”. Curtains full of stains. Sofa is dusty and grey grey.

Terrible experience. I have book a room and emailed and message for early booking. When i approached the front desk they dont even bothered . They say check in 3pm room nkt available. If you want give me 60 ringit and the room will be available. What a rip off! Its just a 2 houra for me to keep my things. Room also over priced hotel is old and delapidated not worth at all. I never expectes this service since i have stayed here many times before covid. This hotel not recommendable at all. Staff also very unpleasant. Regret booking this place

A bit pricey for an old hotel, overall ok

Strong smell along the corridor, same for the room. Dirty bedsheet and pillow case. Room no window feels like jail. Aircon not cold enough. Wifi cant even connect. This is one of the worst hotel Ive ever stayed. Bless me for the remaining 2 nights.

Room and toilet is so smelly, aircond and TV remote not working with one of it without battery(but staff helped to solve the remote kudos). Bed can see some dead brown bugs. Luckily its just one night or else really nightmare

Rooms are so dirty, service is out wanted to go for breakfast they said they closed and never let us in and asked us to for takeaway. Eventhough we Inform the front desk that we are 10mnts late for the breakfast slot they agreed and inform us that it wil be hold. Asked for tea they gave teh o.. food was worst ever I have seen American breakfast comes with one slice bread with strawberries jam 3 small pice of sausage 3 small piece potato wedges 2 spoon of omelette 1 spoon of vege and 2spoon of beans. There is no fruits were given worst ever I had bfast but we pay so much for the room and bfast.

Room spacious but need to clean more. Very good service. Call receptionist and directly send item requested. Location in city. No parking provided. Only public parking.

Good price, room was comfortable and came with free breakfast.Location is near to KSL and night eatery.

Appreciated the free upgrade to family room, there was shower and bath tub. However, the water from the bath tub contained rust particles. Knob on the bath tub is loose and removeable.

Breakfast comes in set meal. Really worth taste for the small charge. A bit high smell of paint.

When your house had electricity outage on a daily basis but you still had to work from home at night... You had no choice but to book a hotel thru Agoda. Got this comfortable room for RM85 a night Hallmark Regency Hotel - Johor Bahru (add RM9 for American breakfast). Not bad for a budget stay, nothing fancy. Wifi speed is extremely slow though. They have vending machine available in case youre hungry at night for drinks & snacks.

Hmm. I dont know whats there to comment about this place, but the rooms are okay, and the food were also okay. The problem is, the toilet in the room smells like public toilet, and the sheets are kinda damp.

Location a bit far from convenient stores and restaurants. Parking are limited. Hotel cleanliness is ok2. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Room is clean and spacious. Bed is comfy. There are 2 extra pillows. Only downside is there is no designated parking. You have to park your car at public parking spaces in front of the hotel.

All are great except no hotel parking and we pay for it ourselves. However, the hotel staffs help us handle the parking ticket without us having to trouble fill the ticket. Customer management and satisfaction is great.

This 3 star hotel is just about 1.5km from the city center that caters to busy travelers. They have various types of room category from single to family room.Selfservice laundry is available at ground floor which is an added bonus for the hotel guests. Apart from that, a spiral stairway leading to a spacious coffee house for breakfast.Guest can choose to venture to Plangi Mall which is just about 10 minutes walk from this hotel.

Love the Customer Service provided by the Hotel.4/5 for room because mine had no windows and Maxis line here very bad due to no window for signal clearance.Breakfast was 3/5. I had Nasi Lemak and English Breakfast. Bread was a little soggy but its fine. You get to dine in the room.Room number was 208. A little bit far to get to the room but it was fine. Also youll get free filtered water machine infront of the elevators. So thats a plus 1.

I booked a family room and it was quite spacious. We were happy and comfortable. There was a bathtub and an iron too, hard to beat at this price. TV was a slight disappointment that programs were all local networks. Overall good experience. I would recommend it.

overall very satisfactory. the staff is also friendly. room facilities are comparable to the facilities in larger hotel rooms. just a bit disappointing at the breakfast session. the food provided is quite limited where everyone can only eat a plate. may be due to the covid-19 pandemic. however, I am very satisfied with everything ...... worth the money spent.

I checked in 22/08 almost midnight after attending my cousins wake and found my room doesnt have any window. Straight away I call if they could change to room with windows or at least a little glass panel usually in the washroom because I am scare to sleep in a room without window or direct sun. The receptionist told me hotel is full. To my surprise he call up again to warn me about not smoking in the room. Told him I dont smoke. After shower am ready for bed and when I flip my duvets found 2 strain long curly hair and decided to flip up entire bed. Found 2 blood stain on bed sheet and another on the pillow case. I cant sleep the whole night. Checked out at 8am next morning. I even took a photo on all the founding. Dont think will ever stay there again.

Hotel room is clean and bed was comfortable.Towels, toothbrush set, 3 in 1 instant coffee, hair dryer is provided. No weird odour in room.Laundry service and room service also available.Location very good, beside pelangi shopping mall.Behind hotel got a open concept hawker open in the evening only.Breakfast was good, food are not cold.This outlet is as good as the Hallmark at Taman Molek.

Booked a standard rooms, but upgraded to family rooms upon check in which was a pleasant surprise. The family room can comfortably fit 4 adults with basic aminities such as minibar, hair dryer, coffee and such. If u intend to book a family room, there are those that does not have windows. So be sure to ask for room with windows if being in confined space is a problem for you. The hotel does not have its own parking space, hence a bit limited. Otherwise all is fairly good. Will definitely repeat for our next short visit.

The hotel staff is nice and helpful, and my room was spacious and clean. It had no window and was a bit dark, but it was OK. I loved the toilet, its like the Japanese washlets! One thing though, the internet connection is a disaster. I needed to book a flight and hotel and I lost connection every 30 seconds, sometimes it wont come back for 10 or 20 minutes. When you have urgent things to do, this can really upset you. So only book when you dont have anything urgent on the internet to do.

There are certain unpleasant sight in the bedroom but reluctantly acceptable.Bathroom.are great and clean.Complimentary beverage only for coffee drinker.Food choices at breakfast spread is OK but cold.Towels are worn out not presentable for use.Karaoke noisy at the restaurant next to the hotel.Room has no sound proof, can hear snoring, TV and door bell very clear from next room.

Beyond my expectations.... That is the only word I have. I took a family room. Expected a cramped up room and enough beds for us to rest. Bcoz the price I got thru booking.com was very attractive.But I was wrong. The room is very spacious, beds are very comfortable. I got the family room which had 1 queen bed and 2 single bed. Is very comfortable. Room is very clean spacious has a very nice bathroom room with bath tub in it. Very modern toiletries fittings. They even have lights in the shower 🚿. The colourful lights just made shower time more interesting. Very good water pressure.This room has everything you ever need.Minibar fridge complete with can drinks, enough coffee packs, iron and board in the wardrobe, hair dryer, tooth brush and paste complete with other toiletries.The most interesting part is that the hotel management is very strict on smoking policy in hotel. That is the best I like.Parking is limited and have to park at the common parking along the hotel row. The y have a security to check on...so a little safe. The location is very strategic. Very near to my shopping mall, food eateries and clubs.Overall this hotel is awesome and will make this place my regular place to check in.

Stayed for a night, and my experience was good. The front desk was polite and gave a great help, by giving informative guidance.The room was neat and tidy. Complimentary products were provided.The staff greet morning, and morning papers was given, as per request.Breakfast meal provided was somewhat exceptionally good, however, should have provided dressings for the salad.Overall, I am quite satisfied with my first visit. I hope Hallmark Regency Hotel maintain their standards and keep up with their good work for my next visit.
