Located at the intersection of Constant Spring Rd, Half Way Tree Rd, Hope Road and Hagley Park Road.  Built in 1913 with victorian architecture.The clock engine was replaced with an electric movement in 2003.   The Bureau of Standards of Jamaica maintains the clock.It currently is in need of repairs.There is a stone bust on the West side entitled “King Edward VII The Peacemaker”.  The tower measures 7′-8″ square at the base, aproximately 33 feet overall height. N 18.01066°  W 76.79752°, Elevation 17 meters.

Its fixed as often as it stops working. National landmark though. Dont trust the pedestrian light, watch the traffic light also. Police are there constantly so its a good meet up spot, nice, public and secure.

It is still there in the middle of HWT not working. I understand the historical significance of the machanical working of the clock, but its not working and as i understand it, will not work because of the vibrations of modern traffic. Let add a digital clock to the pedestal.

The clock just reminds you of the history of this country and the spot is always protected by police

From Monday to Saturday it very busy people, cars, bikes, busses, taxi, etc.Slowest day is Sunday.

Central location to meet up

Nice place to do business.

Traffic police is out there looking for violators and the taxi drivers and bike riders are breaking the rules right infront of them.Regular civilians that drive seems like their main targets.

Not safe after hours

Whats there to say. Its a square with a clock that doesnt work lol. But its even center of Kingston so anywhere you want to go within Kingston. Thats the place to be

The store is clean and the service fast. The recent price hike is ridiculous though and the portions of the meal I bought are reduced. I bought a BEC combo and I was hard-pressed to find the bacon🧐

My experience is normally good when shopping at Clock Tower Plaza. I shop comfortable there.Employees are interactive and are always willing to assist you.

Well its a little history spot but aside from getting a taxi theres nothing of great significance at this location.

Very clean, traffic flow is great, very well secured too

Its ok, normally less crowded on sundays,, thats when you can actually sit on the bench near the clock and watch people go and come

Its was ok but look out for the unruly loader man and unruly taxies.plus the thief although cops is always there.

Half way tree center with the park renamed Nelson Mandela park you also have tastee patties stop and grab there along with chicken and things KFC Wow just awesome to visit so much for you to see and shop ❤️😊❤️❤️

Be very careful as a tourist. Wear no jewelry nor bag over shoulder. Step quickly and dont show phones nor purse out there.Dangerous and filled with professional thieves.

Always a wonderful place to enjoy the time.The clock is a mark of Pride for all Jamaicans ..I had pattywith cheese and coco bread with a pepsi..its normal

Kind of a shady place, gives the feeling of "hey maybe i shouldnt stay in this area too long or show any expensive items around or i might get robbed" but odds of that happening is slim theres generally a lot of nice people in half way tree.

I dont hate the place. I dislike the thieves there. Be careful and keep your phones and bags safe.

A very historic monument that has a special history. Not many people know a tree actually stood where the clock stands now and that tree used to mark the half way point point on the journey to the city back in the day. Half way tree is actually the capital of parish of St. Andrew and not Kingston.

This is the heart of Kingston.. If you saw what this historic location looked like years ago, this will make u truly appreciate it. I believe over time it will continue to evolve.

It is great seeing a clock in the heart of the town. It shows the history, as well as it gives the town a little bit of character.

Historical spot to visit in one of the busiest main area in Kingston Jamaica , so be prepared to be greeted with lots of people , cars etc....

On that roadway you will see people moving up and down,but the most exciting thing is the fashion,there are some odd ones eg how do you wear floral with floral,when i want entertainment i just stand by and look

A land mark in the middle of halfway tree. If you want to meet somebody or have them find you easily. Tell them to meet you at the clock. No body can miss it. Its across from tastee.

A symbol for direction to find where you are going and leads you where you want to be . Stands tall in the heart of city Kingston. Please can we have the Authorities restore our Clocks right throughout our parishes. Shouldnt we have protective barriers around them. Some body please save the Nations Clocks.

It wants to he renovated so it doesnt become totally ruined.

This is one of the most relevant landmarks in the city of Kingston because of its location at a busy spot for pedestrians and motorists. Songs have been written about the clock and commercial photo and video shoots have been done here. It is beside the Half-Way-Tree transportation centre. It has a bust of a former monarch and the clock has gone into disuse and the building is in need of repair.
