Hale's Barrelhouse - Beer hall in Bremerton, United States
A great chill place to grab some beer after work or on the weekend. Decent price for growlers too.
Im a non-drinker but this place is great, especially when they have food trucks.
Visited for an event. Good music and nice small selection of ciders. I would skip the food.
Our experience was very pleasant this past weekend. We enjoyed a table inside the brewhouse as they are all spread apart. It is large and open inside and they also have a relaxing patio. My husband and I shared a chip and dip appetizer and had a sampler setup of beer. Everything was delicious and the one employee on staff was friendly. Great for a relaxing date night for us almost 40 age bracket. We live close by and plan to visit again.
The patrons of this bar are so inconsiderate of the local residents. Its a fight and a half to find parking during their business hours.
This is my favorite brewery in Bremerton. They have a great selection of house and local drafts as well a great bar food. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. Great place to bring your fur friend as well! I usually always get the beer flights as they have so many options that are good. Still want to do the double decker bus!!
Had a blast will be back
Great atmosphere and experience, great people running it. Porter was a standout in the flight I got.
Great place to hang and relax. Great menu of beer. Outside seating with fire pits on tables and open area seating inside. Meet up with friends and enjoy!
Best craft beer you can get! Best rap house around!
Best brewery around love the service and beer choices
1st, This was my first visit here after living a few blocks away for the past 2+years.2nd, Tuesday 3pm-9pm is $1.50 a can beer night... Which this time just so happened to be New Years Eve. & they sold street tacos out front.3rd, I had a great night. Great atmosphere, good people & good beer. Ill definitely by coming here more often...Update: no longer $1.50 can its $2 now but nonetheless, still gets a 5 🌟
Came for the Christmas Caroling, and stayed for the awesome, chill atmosphere. Well worth checking out
Love this place. Chill atmosphere as others have noted. Daily specials, happy hour, good selection of beers and knowledgeable staff. They also serve wine, cider and food. What more do you need?
Very good variety of on tap beers including some nitro. Acoustics made conversation difficult with the full pub. I especially enjoyed the Hales Amber.
Fun atmosphere, all ages (if youre into that sort of thing), and of course delicious beer and food
We had our 45th class reunion here. While I loved the setting as well as the easy parking, the lady bartender was absolutely rude. She ran out of all soda before the first hour was out and made absolutely no attempt to get any further. When I asked for botted water, she pointed to a water pitcher which was lukewarm, if not hot, at best and had no ice. YUCK. The setting itself was wonderful as was the event. That is the only reason for 3 stars.
Wednesdays are $8 growler fills! Great beer
Super cool place, bar games are a good addition and atmosphere is very chill but exciting at the same time.
Great service and great beer. Wednesday $8 growler fill ups.
I had a blast at Hales back in January, at Karaoke night. We played Cards Against Humanity, sang a bunch of songs, and enjoyed some delicious craft beers and great food from The Tiny Kitchen. Mallory takes good care - she is thoughful, efficient, professional and no-nonsense. Kudos to whomever hired her, she is awesome.
We came to watch the Sounders game last Saturday and it started an hour before closing which was disappointing, however the server was really cool about it and apologized. We drank, tipped and left, but will be back! Hopefully for an earlier game. I will say I wish the barrelhouse was open a bit longer most days, its so warm and cozy that I wanted to stay forever.
Tuesday 1.50 cans. "Tiny Kitchen" on front deck had great solvakis( Gyrotype sandwich. Dog friendly,
Love this place. Good beer. Friendly staff. Local greatness.
This is the best spot for craft beer in West Bremerton. Prices are reasonable, full selection of Hales beers on draft with rotating taps.
I was coming back from Seattle on the Bremerton ferry and after talking to a fellow passenger discovered that there is a Hales tap house in Bremerton. I had no idea and have even went to the Hales brewery in Fremont/Ballard to get beer this past year. I am so happy to discover this location, Hales has been my favorite microbrew since 2009. Even after living in San Diego before coming back it is good to see that they are still the best. This location is very quaint and has a great selection of food and beer and some outside seating for when the weather is nice. On this trip i bought a 6 pack of IPA Resolutions, red menace amber ale, and Kolsch. All are very good as usual and i can not wait to go back and drink some of the nitro beer while eating. The Hales Cream Ale is still one of my favorite all time beers and i wish that they would can it!
Great place to come and hang out with friends. The beer is tasty and you have to do the pub crawl!
Nice place to go with friends and hang out. Prices are par for the area. Unfortunately they dont have any cider or GF specials on their $1 tuesday happy hour.
Fantastic rotating selection, awesome bar food and great games and events to keep you occupied.
Good beers at a good price. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of everything on tap. The main bartender, Malory, is absolutely awesome and takes good care of patrons. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Bremerton.
The place is top notch and they serve my all time favorite beer, Night troll!
Favorite place to go for a cold one.. Bartenders make you feel at home. Fantastic happy hour prices and daily specials.
Dollar can night is a great way to have a few drinks with friends without breaking the bank. The outdoor seating is nice to enjoy a warm day and a cold drink. The panini sandwiches are tasty and the combo with chips is reasonably priced. They also have cornhole sets available for patrons to use. The parking is decent, but not particularly spacious. Be prepared to park on the street if the shop is busy.
Updated: 21+ only. Visited last summer, and they allowed kids on the patio - not anymore!Beer is good otherwise, but its not a good family place.
A cool place to go get some libations and a decent atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff as well.
Cute, cozy ale house with games and big tables. A local favorite. Service was a little casual, but it fit the atmosphere, so I guess I cant complain.
Great beer and atmosphere. The sandwich was tasty too!
Always something good brewing here. I was really torn between giving hales the 5 star rating they so deserve and doing my part to keep my little neighborhood brewpub from becoming a "destination" brewpub. But with killer daily specials. Deals on bottles and cans, Seasonals, limited runs, cask conditioned beers. + pinball machines and a dog friendly, chilled out vibe it wont be a secret for very long anyway.
$1 can night on Tuesday! Small get to know your neighbor seating. A few board and card games... Oh ya and they have pinball too!
Very causal welcoming local bar. Went for a game night. Friendly staff who helped this newcomer. Beer choices varied and wonderful. Didnt have food yet, but will try for next time.
I like this place, loots of seating, good beers and a really laid back atmosphere.
Love this place! Has all of the standard Hales beers plus many delicious rarer and seasonal beers. Food selection is currently limited to (pretty tastypaninis, quesadillas, and soups but outside food is allowed similar to many other tap rooms. Perfect place to stop by for a beer or three after work or to relax on a weekend afternoon. Polite dogs are allowed.
Hale’s Barrelhouse is West Bremerton’s best kept secret. I have loved walking from my home into this neighborhood hangout spot. They are friendly, clean and cheap. People walk in to a friendly wave and a warm welcome most being called by name. The pub is kept tidy and clean especially the bathrooms, which is rare. Happy hour beats every other pub in the county, 3-dollar pints from 3-6 is a fantastic deal along with free pretzels and popcorn. Don’t forget tin can Tuesdays which is dollar can night. This is a must visit and bring friends.
Very cool place to visit at night and drink beer
Just stopped for my first time, briefly, to take the double decker bus on a pub tour. Only got a quick impression, but it was a nice place with good selection of craft brews for a taproom.
Cant say enough good things about this place. The beer is out of this world. On a rainy day the inside is warm, on a warm day the patio is a breath of fresh air. $3 happy hour 3-6.
Beautiful design. Very cool place to hang out. Friendly and comfortable. Loving that they are hosting neighborhood Nitelife events. A must for the brewer conniseur.Looking forward to what it will grow into.
A cool industrial feel for a brewery with solid beer and a nice selection of guest tap handles.
Only one person serving and cooking on a busy Saturday afternoon. If you like cream ales you came to the right place. If you want stouts that taste like winter warmer cream ales you came to the right place. If you want to try a selection of barrel aged beers like the name implies you came to the wrong place. Atmosphere was close to a 4 but the beers and service were somewhat disappointing.
Enthusiastic beer slinger sold me on continued relevancy of Hales as Washingtons oldest brewery. Enjoy!
