Hakkasan Mayfair in Lima

Visiting from Seattle celebrated my 40th birthday dinner here and it was a treat. Their service is impeccable, drinks are superb and food is just out of this world. The Hakka noodles is tastefully mind blowing. The dim sum platters are a must try. Salt and pepper squid and Black pepper beef in merlot is to die for. The vegetarian options are just delicious. Cocktails that we tried are The Hakka, Smoky Negroni, Ruby tang, Wildflower, and they are worth trying out. Will come back somewhere in the future. Thank you

Very crowded on a Saturday night, quite dark and the music is too clubby for such a restaurant - lunch is a more relaxed experience.However, the food is sensational and all the above are trivial and of little importance.The highlights: the black truffled roasted duck which has to be one of the finest dishes in London, silver cod with champagne was superb, the dim sums top notch as always…I can’t find a single fault, this is a place that one has to visit.

Good selection of Japanese Whiskeys. Food and service is excellent as one would expect of restaurant of this calibre. The grilled octopus is a must try.

This is a great place to come for a celebratory dinner! They have a lovely vegan set menu (the chrysanthemum menu- the starters are absolutely amazing. Their dim sum is so delicious. The set menu is for two people and the portion sizes are really good - it’s very filling and delicious. The staff are super friendly and give really good recommendations for what drinks will pair well with the food!

Hakkasan mayfair is a must every time! The food is exceptional , the staff friendly and attentiveFresh water prawns are a firm favourite as is the dim sumI recently took my daughter who is vegetarian she had no problem finding foods on the menu to suit her dietary requirementsOh and the cocktails are fabulous!!

The place is like a speakeasy bar, maybe the tables must be further apart to be more comfortable. The food is very good, it’s a Chinese gourmet experience. The cocktails are excellent. the presentation of the dishes is second to none but I think the prices are a bit high. Either way, its a very good experience

Dropped in to Hakkasan in Mayfair (Saturday afternoonwithout a reservation but was delighted that they were able to accommodate a table for two. We went for the Plum Blossom sharing set menu. Please see the attached photos. All courses were amazing, in particular the Pork course was a delight. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming with an informal setting and it was busy but all the waiting staff were helpful and attentive. The surprise was the desert which was a take on a Ferrero Rocher in ice cream form in a hazelnut casing and warm chocolate sauce. Just a note: Dress code was informal. As it was a hot day I wore a short sleeved shirt and shorts. Some men were in T-shirts…. I guess people dress up more in the evening….

Fantastic vibrant place. Professional service and tasty dishes. Loved the Chilean seabass, duck salad and different dumplings.

“Glorified Wagamama’s” is how a friend described Hakkasan while we were talking about how our dinner was, & I think it describes the food perfectly. These are dishes with Chinese names & Chinese presentation, but with the taste for a western palette.

Lovely place for dinner. Ive been here a few times. The drinks were delicious. The dimsum was amazing. We also had the popular cod. This did not dissapoint. The waiter David was the best. He was very friendly and engaging.Id admit the lower level was a bit too dimly lit but I guess that adds to the ambience and gives an intimate setting.Think its a good place for a dinner date

Amazing!Super expensive but fabulous dishes.A michelin starred restaurant where the quality of the ingredients and balance of flavours is a delight to eat, along with generous size portions.My only negative is that it is very dark. I will start saving up for my next visit 😊

Great food!The duck here is absolutely delicious, Im a huge fan of duck and they definitely didnt disappoint.The desert was very delicious.Loved the vibe and interior.The staff were great.Expensive.Definitely recommend!

Heard about this place for a long time but never visited. Didnt really do any research and then was surprised that it was Chinese. Totally my fault, I mean, Google is pretty easy to use. :-Luckily, I like surprises, but not such a fan of Chinese food. We ordered three dishes:- Stir-fry black pepper rib eye beef with Merlot- Crispy Duck Salad- Sesame prawn toastThe food was very good, but the price point was not. We had two espresso martinis and a bottle of still water. Total £160.Service was efficient but with no character.People come here to be seen and the atmosphere is just that. Pretty stuffy and not that much fun. Plenty of other places in Mayfair with better quality food and a more fun vibe.

Slightly surprised by all the 5 star reviews; the service was excellent as were the cocktails, and the atmosphere and dining experience was very good too.However, this wasn’t matched by the quality of the food - the steamed Dim Sun were excellent, but the mains were quite bland, and not in a “they had subtle flavours”.Perhaps we had a bad experience, but I would be careful if (like usyou’re the sort of person for whom michelin dining is an expensive treat, I’d suggest you go somewhere with higher consistency.

Food was amazing but I expect better service for a Michelin star restaurant. Some of the staff will make you feel uncomfortable when ordering from the set menu so beware of this.

absolutely divine food.stunning ambiance.this restaurant is exquisite.well deserving of their michelin star.definitely one for a special occasion.we had the supreme dim sum,crispy duck salad,24 hours slow roasted iberico pork char siu,& hakka noodles.

The food was delicate & exquisite, as was the service from Sergio. The ambiance was cozy and the cocktails were divine - truly an experience all to themselves. Absolutely deserving of a Michelin star and definitely the perfect pick for a special night out!

Great restaurant. Upstairs is a bit more relaxed and downstairs there is some good music and it feels more hip.Waiter was very nice. Food was great and we would definitely go again when back in London.

The food is always beautiful at this place but I wasnt blown away by being seated upstairs instead of the stunning dining room on the lower level. But still delicious 😋

Foods are bland for a chinese foods. Using sushi soy sauce for chinese foods are weird choice to have. Workers were rude, plates were taken without asking if we already finished using it. I understand if they have a bad day, but sometimes they did it because they wanted us to go fast because we order minimal foods. 😥

Went with my friend for the "Taste of Hakkasan" set menu because we wanted to try the food without spending a fortune.Firstly, we were blown away by the amazing dishes we were served! We also added the cocktail option, we had "The Hakka" which is the best cocktail Ive ever had!Since we were going for the "cheaper menu" we did not expect we would be looked after as well as the other people spending a lot more, but we couldnt be more wrong.The service was amazing, they all made us feel welcome and incredibly well looked after.A special thanks to Franco, who looked after us the whole evening and was very attentive to our needs and gave us great advice on the food. We also sat by the bar after dinner to have some more drinks, and everyone behind the bar was extremely nice to us, especially Thiago, who answered to all our questions about the drinks he was making.Overall a once in a lifetime experience, cannot recommend highly enough!!

Dined here for my birthday celebration, the food was delicious particularly the dim sum which was amazing! The mains weren’t particularly my favourite but had good flavour. We ordered one of the signature menus and the cocktails were nice and strong. The service was good and the staff were so welcoming!

Love this restaurant! All the food has so much flavour. The black pepper yellow bean is my favourite vegetarian dish on the menu!

Highly impressive dining experience. We came as a group and all ordered the Jade set menu. The starters of dimsum and Peking duck with caviar were definitely the highlight and the taste was impeccable. The mains were good however didnt blow us away as much as the starter. There were two deserts which were both very good and you certainly wont be hungry after the set menu! Additionally many of the cocktails were great and there were many creatives ones too. Its expensive but it seemed like good value.The only downside I would say was that it was maybe a bit rushed as they needed the table for another reservation which wasnt ideal but I suppose it is a measure of its popularity.

I’ve been to 2 locations of Hakkasan in London, several times. The Mayfair one is best, for decor and it’s on a nicer street, but the food is equally as good.Chicken satay is lovely & ribeye steak is super soft.

I’ve been wanting to dine at Hakkasan for years and finally went yesterday (07/05/2022with two friends. My spicy prawns came very late! This ruined the experience for me. Everyone had finished eating by the time it came, the waiter had already started collecting a friend’s empty plates. Had to eat the spicy prawns with COLD egg fried rice as that came at the same time as everyone else’s food. I did make the staff aware of this but they would not give me a fresh bowl of rice. I was given a free drink due to the delay but I would have preferred fresh rice to at least enjoy the meal.To make things worse, I woke up early this morning with stomach pains and had diahorrea!So disappointed.

Celebrated our sons 22nd birthday at the Hakkasan on bank holiday Monday. We ordered from the fixed menu (Pearl @ £148 per person). The meal started well with Dim Sum, four each all different flavours, although hard to tell them apart except for the beef. We then had the duck, served three slices with skin and fat, tasted good, but the duck skin and fat was not to our taste. The rest of the duck was served with the main meals, did not look like a whole duck to us. There were four main courses: lamb which was ok, tofu with scallops and prawn which was awful dont have, sea bass excellent and the duck which was ok. The desserts were excellent: lemon moose in a lemon chocolate coating was the best. It took 30 minutes to serve desserts after the main meal, too long. Place was nice, first time we had been back since it opened 20 years ago, would not go back. Waiter was professional and attentive, expensive average meal really, real shame. The restaurant was too warn, uncomfortable at times

Went to the restaurant at a busy night, service was almost nonexistent, and a few waiters were rude. Their dishes are not authentic Chinese, it’s more of a modern fusion approach. They tasted alright but a bit underwhelming, portion size was small for every dishes for about £100 per person.

Love this place.Best Peking duck I have ever tried!Other food is nice as well. Especially the jelly in the dessert.They also prepared a free dessert for the special occasion.

This restaurant is exceptional. Well deserving of their Michelin Star. The decor is dim and comfortable. The music is not too upbeat but sets the mood extremely well. Now the food. Oh the food. The taste is out of this world. We tried a few different items and they were divine (will upload pictures soon). Definitely going back to try more from the menu and would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing. My friend and I just happened upon this place after being turned away at Amazonico for dinner. There was a bit of a wait, but we were hungry and decided to just stay and sit at the bar to fill the time. The drinks were amazing- I had the pink mojito and my friend had the martini. As we sat and chatted, I asked about a sake bomb. The bartender had never heard of this, so I was able to teach him how to make it (pictured). It was such a great time. We were seated after maybe 20-30 minutes and given time to look over the menu. I have a mushroom allergy, so I was able to tell the server about that and they were more than accommodating. We tried the fried soft-shell crab (delicious, and I am not big on seafood at all), the dim sum (not bad either), the stir fry beef and the rib eye. We were not disappointed in any of the dishes or the service.

Over all nice restaurant, reception and and the waitresses were all good with high standards.Food quality, and presentation were amazing, I thought I might see more variety of food.

Went for Valentines day dinner, we ordered the set menus. It started with very unique cocktails, which we loved. Every single dish that followed was outstanding in every respect - taste, authenticity, presentation. I dont remember the last time I went somewhere and loved absolutely everything, but this was definitely it.Place was crowded, but not too noisy, music was very nice and the atmosphere was relaxing. Service was impeccable.

The most luxurious Chinese food you can experience.Simply sensational.You need to book in advance.Fantastic ambiance.Staff are brilliant, although there usually standard 15% service charge (£47), but its worth it.We had the Shou set menu, £102 per person.£13 for a G&T, £6.50 bottle of Mahou.Thoroughly recommend this restaurant in a heartbeat

Food was very tasty, we had the CNY menu, yet we were left feeling like we did not get enough food for what we paid. In Michelin Star restaurants, 100-120£ get you a whole set of dishes per person, yet 170£ pp left us sharing 4 mains between 3 people. The music is too loud and the service is too noticeable. Compared to other restaurants in the area, it does not stand out at all. Very mediocre.

I’ve been here twice and both times the dining experience has been amazing. Food has lots of flavor and the servers are pretty attentive. Would recommend this place.

This place has a great atmosphere and excellent service. They’re food is great as well. We order the classic dumpling platter and it was great. We also ordered the duck with caviar. It was quite a big portion for two people so I would recommend sharing. They bring the first part on top of flat bread and it’s already cut into squares and prepared for you. Then you can order the second course with a sauce if you choosing and it comes shredded. We also got the Hakka noodles which are a must. They duck salad is also very fresh and delicious.

What can I say. Absolutely stunning food and great atmosphere in this place. Definitely for a special occasion. The food was delightful and exquisite, cooked to perfection all dishes with the perfect detailing and condiments to suit. If you like oriental food then this place must be visited great lunch. Make sure you book your table before as they are constantly booked up.

Ambience is spot on! Love the decor and the crowd ! Of everything we ordered the sweet corn soup was the best and the coco passion on the drink menu was ABSOLUTELY BOMB! Also ordered a duck salad which wasn’t my fav

We chose this place to celebrate our success in the passing year 2021 and it was a wonderful celebration! Every dish we have tried was exquisite, flavourful and visually extremely appealing. The highlights of our beautiful dinner have resulted in the below photos. We are looking forward to our next visit at Hakkasan soon!

Amazing food but I felt like the gap between the starters and mains was a bit too much. Also, during the reservation, I had mentioned it was my partners birthday, I would have expected a small dessert with happy birthday to come out but that didnt happen, not sure why they ask for the occasion whilst booking. Apart from that, amazing restaurant, the bouncers and waiters were also very nice, would definitely go back! Portions sizes were just right!

We went for our Anniversary meal and it was amazing. We had the Diamond Menu which consisted of Wagyu beef, Peking Duck, Sea Bass, Calamansi and the rest! They also wrote Happy Anniversary" with white chocolate on our desert plate, that was a lovely touch.

I love this place. Been coming for years and it is consistently brilliant!! The food is just next level. Always.Service can be a touch dodge on occasion. Just had a waiter drape his hands all over the neck of my water bottle while talking to me - which was somewhat odd to do - especially nowadays …. But they could deploy a well-trained horse on service and I would still line up outside to get in.I’ve done Hakkasan in San Francisco, Vegas, Miami and even Tottenham Court Road - and they are all masters of taste.We’re lucky to be alive during the era of Hakkasan.

Very nice atmosphere. Seating arrangements are nice and intimate. The food arrives promptly and is delicious! We had the veggie spring rolls, vegan dumplings, veggie noodles, veggie rice, satay chicken and the chicken clay pot. Everything was just divine. A great cocktail selection too!

Luxurious restaurant in the middle of Mayfair, the environment is really cool and elitist. The restaurant has two floors and its kind of dark the enviroment. We had the signature menu Plum blossom formed by 7 plates aprox. The best ones were the Four style dim sum and the Pan-fry silver cod. Its better to be pairs of people for each menu as the food is being served together. The service was good, noisy environment and the wines bit overrated although were really good. I will recommend this place for couple celebrations or small groups. We had a great time!

Nice trendy bar downstairs. Had an amaretto sour which was spot on. Food is over priced for what you get but lets face it, we are there for the ambience. :P Had a set meal so came with 4 types of dumplings, 3 pieces of duck pancakes (i had a piece of chewy chew duck hence 4 stars), scallop and 4 mains (2 meats, silver cod and veg). Dessert came. Fave was dumplings, scallop and veg. Great evening.

Had the supreme dim sum which was amazing, particularly liked the beef and lobster ones. They are definitely pricey and probably for special occasions though. The Hakka noodle was also great and something to fill u up. The ambient and the service was top notch !

This place was wonderful from start to finish. Our waiting staff were impeccable at delivering incredible customer service. Special thanks to Franco one of the waiters. The food is to die for. I highly recommend the duck. The cocktails and all dishes were outstanding. The standout 3 desserts platter simply memorable. Happy wife. Came here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We shall be back again very soon. Thank you all again. Simply brilliant.
