Haiku Sushi in Sofia

Unfortunately i could not eat there. The hostess/waiter/ owner (may behad such face that i have lost appetite. He didnt say hello when we entered, he didnt smile, he didnt have a time to help us with a menu...he looked like we are enemies for him. Awful service! Now i understand why restaurant is empty all the time.

Went for a quick dinner. I was the only customer eating in. No English menu but English speaking staff who were friendly and helpful. The sushi was made then and there and it was delicious. Good prompt service, everything was clean and tidy. Would definitely return. I dont like cream cheese in my sushi and was able to find enough options without.

Good food, terrible delivery experience already several times. 1.5h turns into 2h, "coming in few minutes", 2.5h ... Wanted to believe it was just once before, but unfortunately seems to be a way they handle it always. :(

Haiku Sushi is a nice sushi place located in Lozenets region is Sofia city.I especially like it for their vegan sushi options and one in particular, the Vegan Hosomaki Avocado, which has Delishu vegan cheese in it too.Great service and nice personnel. Really busy at dinner time, so if you plan to get your sushi delivered, you should call them a few hours in advance.

The best Sushi in Sofia!

I was a bit taken aback when I received my order. The tuna was brown. The waiter explained that this was a natural color. Well, it smelled ok, so I gave it a shot. It really didn’t have great flavor, but many of the other items in our set of 38 pieces were quite tasty. I later learned that brown is normal and that some fish mongers use nitrogen to achieve the lovely pink flavor most of us are used to. Note that the menu, however, shows the pink stuff. Service was friendly except for one grumpy guy behind the counter. I don’t know if there’s better sushi in Sofia, but it was pretty average to this palate and while cheap by home standards, I doubt I’d go back.

This was my favorite place for sushi 🍣 as everything they made was always fresh and delicious. Last night going there, took some sushi with tuna, and realizing at home that the tuna wasn’t fresh but seemed canned. This was highly disappointing as their prices aren’t cheap. Now, I’ll be considering twice before I go there again.

We had a delivery, and we were not very surprised with the taste. We ordered set with couple of flavors, unfortunately it was nothing special, for the price that they put of the food, the quality and the taste must be higher. Although the service was nice!

OMG finally a great vegan sushi I can enjoy in Sofia!!! I once ordered to my house, and it arrived very fast and fresh, and once set in the restaurant itself and it was very nice too- well decorated, service was pleasant and sushi was fresh. The only thing that made me sad was the fact we were the only table sitting... :/ Go check it out, you wont be disappointed!!

The sushi is a bit dry. Not that tasty. And it is very expensive. Wow, i forgot that Bulgaria was Luxenbourg, everybody is rich, no one is complaining about paying 20 levas per person for some rice, a bit of salmon and some nori. But the worst is that it is not tasty. Change the chef!

Very nice place..excellent food and very kind staff working there..the place including toilets are very clean.. we ordered a nice bottle of wine and got after this a free bottle as a welcome gift.. was my first time for lunch but sure not my last time!

We had the food in delivery, so I cannot comment on atmosphere or service. The sushi is - by a wide margin - the best in Sofia. It is far better than some hyped competitors (you know which).That is not to say it is perfect. The rice/fish ratio is not right, there are weird variants on menu, and the tuna is leathery - but that is a problem everywhere in Sofia.If you want to have Sushi in town you should definitely check Haiku Sushis food out. I expected little and was very pleasantly surprised.

Best sushi I have eaten out of 10+ places in 4 countries

Super nice place. Not many people there due to their wonderful delivery. I had some rolls while sitting outside and the experience was wonderful. Awesome rolls, great service, solid suchi. I come from San Francisco where there is great sushi, haiku sushi is better than any I have had in SF.

Ended here just because close to our hotel and wanted a quick dinner. Even if we were late they let us in anyway. Great sushi! Tasty and prepared in front of us!
