Some of the best Mexican food in Asuncion. The atmosphere is inviting and the rooms are wonderfully decorated. I love the table setting with the painted pottery. The food is good and the service lovely. Get the margarita. So delicious.

Se mantiene con el paso de los años la calidad del servicio, menú en base a platos mexicanos, personal muy amable, raciones generosas, precios acordes al nivel del servicio. Plus de mariachis para amenizar la velada.

On August 4th, we were visiting the area and were excited to have found this restaurant. It was fine until it came to seating. The server who attended to us asked us to wait, and upon him coming back, I asked if we could get outdoor seating and he seemed very agitated. It took a good 20 minutes after they gave us the menu to come to us. The people who came after us were also served before us. I told the server I had food allergies and told him that we were vegetarian, so I asked if they had any substitutes, and he seemed more annoyed and said there was no substitution for it. Upon requesting, water was given to us, but for other people water was already served without them asking. The food was also overpriced for the proportions though it tasted okay. I had requested maple syrup from another one of the servers and never received any. For those reasons and more, I would probably avoid this place.

Nada más llegar, nos recibió uno de sus camareros. Todos van vestidos de Mejicanos, con su cinturón de tejido típico. La carta está llena de platos típicos. Los dos tipos de burritos que tomamos estaban muy buenos. No sólo sabían a carne sino que la salsa se notaba que estaba muy bien hecha con un sabor superintenso y buenísimo. Los picantes que probamos no eran excesivos, sino que era un leve picor agradable. El trato de sus camareros exquisito. Un lugar más que recomendable

Best Mexican Food in Assuncion

Nice place but food was average.Drinks were top & so was the service so would certainly go back just for that.However would order less food & just enjoy the drinks.Hope that helps! Anyone wanting a proper hot meal should think again that’s for sure.

The food and service were outstanding. A little pricey for our budget but it was well worth it.

The sangria was ok, but quite sweet. I ordered something called "sábana del angel" (Basically chicken with cheese on top). In the menu it said that its spicy, but I was a bit disappointed because it wasnt spicy at all, otherwise it was good. They had a great quesadilla as a starter.

Lugar agradable, lleno de color. Buena atención. La comida (la que probétacos, quesadillas y burritos estaban secos y el sabor...no trascendía. No obstante, lo importante es compartir buenos momentos:)

Place is good and comfortable, but the food to me was a little underwhelming considering how expensive it is. It felt somewhat spice less and not very savory. It wasnt bad but it should be better considering the prices.

Sin duda el mejor local de comida mexicana de Asunción. Recomiendo pedir el surtidito. El de la foto es para 2 personas, el mismo no está en el menu. El ambiente es agradable los mozos muy amables. Cuenta con estacionamiento y guardia. Excelente atención y sabrosa comida. Mis favoritos tacos crujientes y al pastor.

A lot of variety of foods! As a vegetarian, I really enjoyed the vegetable fajitas (though I wish they would make the veggie portion a bit larger). The cocktails were delicious! Its a little pricey, but overall worth it.

しっかりとしたメキシコ料理店です。メイン2皿とビール735ml x 2でGs.222でした（4000円程度）ナチョスを始め、牛肉のトマト煮チーズ添えなど美味しい料理が多く、金額分の満足度は得られます！（フードコートと比較するのもアレですが）当方スペイン語が不慣れな為持ち帰りが通じず下げられてしまいましたが、帰り際に確認したら新しいものを包んで頂きました…muchos gracious por comida!ハンバーガーやピザ続きで荒んだ胃袋に是非オススメします（笑）

Poor paraguayan adaptation of Mexican food. Too expensive for non-authentic Mexican food. Tacos, burritos and fajitas all used the same meat cut and condiments.

Staff is very nice, service attitude is like a high class french restaurant wannabe uptight performance. This kind of service does not match for order tacos or chimichangas. I ordered tacos pastor and also beef and chorizo. The pastor flavor was ok if you compare with Mexico city flavor I will gave them a 5.8 note, tortilla is real korn one, but when they serve it to me was extremely dry. Original tacos tortilla usually is very soft and moist, sometimes even oily depending on the taco style. Other observation is that they put cabbage over the tacos, thats nonsense. They dont have proper salsa for tacos, Mexican tacos is all about a good salsa. They also use too much pineapple. I olso had a salad, may be a bit oversized but for the price is understandable.

I love this restaurant!The food is delicious, the place itself is very well theme decorated, the staff is very nice, the frozen margaritas are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!I recommend it! The only thing that I don´t recommend tho is their delivery, I ordered it a few times, and somehow they always mess up my order even tho I do it in spanish, also the dish presentation is tottaly diferent and they always forget something.So go eat at the restaurant instead :^)

If you feel like having mexican Hacienda las Palomas is definetly the place to go, they got a wide variety of mexican food, they usually serve you pretty quick and they are really friendly.
