Hacienda Coloma in Honda
Description
Privilege
Pretty café finca with incredible gardens. Highly recommended.
Hay muchas fincas cafeteras cerca a Bogotá, pero la forma en la que explican y resaltan los principales pasos para la producción de un café de alta calidad, es genial en esta hacienda Cafetera. It is extremely pleasant visiting this Coffee farm plantation, the landscape is beautiful, and when visitors notices the shadow plant method its what you will notice in a tasting test at the end of the tour, giving you a better mindset about this lovely work involving even family members, making this a very warm and unique experience to those who would love to dive into a peasant experience while in a Coffee farm plantation.
MoreWe loved! And excellent coffee liquor😊
Loved every minute of every time in this place. The best coffee Ive had in Colombia.
MoreGreat tour and learned a lot about the coffee making process ☕️😃🇨🇴
Fantastic...perfect for the family or individual visiting Bogota...only 90 minutes and not exhausting like a lot of tours. English tour guide available! Must see to learn the whole coffee process.
MoreIt was a wonderful experience. Our tour guide was great, informative, and pleasant to talk to about the local culture of the area.We were a group of four who took the tour. We were shown around the grounds and learned about the process of making coffee. We also got to learn about their rum and we got to do a taste test. We then moved on to tasting their very delicious coffee, coffee liquor, and Cream of whiskey type drink. They were all great. At the end we got to have lunch and have a traditional Columbian meal which all three courses were fantastic and delicious.I would recommend this to all who would like a little adventure into rural Columbia.
MoreThank you for the wonderful day!
We visited Hacienda Coloma during our recent visit to Bogota. Its roughly about 1.5 hours from Bogota without traffic. But of course, there is traffic so it took us about 2 hours. We booked directly with Hacienda Coloma via WhatsApp and they recommended some drivers to us. We picked one and he was great. Pick up, wait, and drop off for 350,000 COP.We arrived for our 11am tour and was paired with an English-speaking guide. She was absolutely amazing. We learned about all the plants on the property and the entire coffee making process. We were able to pick some of our own fruit and she walked us through how it would be processed. At the end, we had a coffee and liquor tasting.I honestly learned so much about the coffee making process in Columbia and I would highly recommend making the trip out to Fusagasuga to visit Hacienda Coloma!
MoreLovely place and excellent reception with great tour guide. Went through coffee production process and tasting of coffee products

From start to finish this has been one of the best tours Ive ever been on. Jessica was a wealth of information on the coffee process and spoke fantastic english for those who need it. Cannot recommend it enough.

MoreExtremely beautiful site! Our tour guide Alba was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic which made the tour amazing. I had a lot of fun learning about the coffee bean harvest process. I highly recommend visiting. It’s a good get away from the city to explore more into the country.
MoreI loved the place! The plants take you to a new world just by crossing the entrance, the house is beautiful and the flowers and decoration create a magic environment! You can use a hat through the tour in order to feel as part of the place. The explanations about the different plants and the coffe plantations is great and you will be able to see and experience the whole process. I definetly recommend the trip it is definetly worth all the time an effort. Also the farms is really close to the town so arrival is not an issue
MoreNice place. Good guide. No info about entry prices (expensive). Needs better toilets no changing facilities for babies. Nice staff.
MoreOur tour guide was great and very friendly. The property is gorgeous! We had driven by several times on the highway and had no idea this oasis was tucked in behind. Definitely worth checking out.
MoreWas very informative about the coffee business, very knowledgeable about coffee itself, guide all so took time to explain the process in English as wellWorth the trip, if you are into coffee.
MoreNice place. If you do not have time to go to the coffee zone, this is a quick option. We see all about the planting, production, coffee harvest, besides a tour through the hacienda. Our guide Alba was very nice.
MoreWonderful trip . Friendly. Knowledgeable. Relaxing fun trip. Learnt a lot about coffee. Both guide and the coffee farm guide were great highly recommend
MoreSuch a beautiful farm and the tour guide is really charming! The drive to was a challenge from Bogota, but worth it. I enjoyed the tasting, the lunch after was so amazing, and everyone was very friendly and welcoming.
MoreThe place is beautiful, a small piece of paradise. The coffee process is really interesting and you can enjoy the experience of some stages of the process.
More2 hours from Bogota. Theres some traffic going out but once you get there is worth it. Beautiful diverse garden, warmer weather and an interesting tour about the process of coffee. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded.
MorePerfect for one day activity. Beautiful place very close from Bogota that can make you learn a lot!!! Highly recommended.
MoreGreat experience. Julian is a great guide—friendly, informative, and speaks English. The coffee is delicious, only bested by their signature coffee liqueur. If you are a coffee lover and youre in Bogota, you wont regret adding this stop to your itinerary.
MoreHacienda Coloma is a wonderful small coffee plantation where you get to see every stage of growing harvesting and roasting coffee beans. The plantation itself is a great place and the staff and tour outstanding. At the end you get to try out their coffee and liquor and of course buy some for yourself. I found the price of the products very good too. I would highly recommend the tour and their products.
MoreVery nicely kept grounds. Lots of tropical plants and trees to see. A little hard to find as it doesnt look like anything touristy from the outside! Watch for a simple sign Hacienda Coloma on the gate pillar. Plan to spend a couple hours. It is very close to the Fusa bus terminal. Tour price in 2019 is 28,000 cop. No need to get one of the more expensive tour operators from Bogota. Just go to the Fusa bus terminal and walk 2 minutes from there. Contact the farm ahead of time for tour schedule.
MoreThe tour in English is great. The prices at their store are better than supermarket prices.
MoreReally good tour. Julian showed us around and showed us the process of making coffee from start to finish. He is clearly very knowledgeable on the subject. Really worth the price of the tour!
MoreVery informative tour around the Hacienda. Our guide was well informed and very fun. Im very happy we did this tour.
MoreGreat coffee farm with a beautiful garden and a 120 years old house... they explained the whole coffee production process and we tasted coffee at the end...I had a great day
MoreIn few words, it’s worth it to going there and enjoy , with a very nice friendly people.I’m still in Touch with Julian. awesome guy
MoreThe tour of the planation is a lot of fun, and the coffee liquor is awesome!
The most amount of fun at a coffee plantation. The tour guide was AMAZING. He spoke english and Spanish and was able to answer all of my question. I learned a lot about coffee production that I did not know. They had a gift shop to buy there coffee. Most of the coffee they make is for liquor. Highly recommend going here. Beautiful flowers. Its like a organized jungle. Everything has a place yet looks like nature does all the work. Great place. Also do weddings.
MoreExcellent guest, excellent place, excellent coffe.
Nice coffee plantation tour within driving distance of Bogota. Great alternative to coffee country when youre unable to make that trip.
MoreBeautiful place, the guide was VERY knowledgeable about the plants and coffee.
Is a trip that you should do. The trip took like 10 hours and the guide provide us a plenty information about the process of the coffee. We could able to be in the plantantion to the rosted beens proccess. At the end of the trip, we tried to eat in the restaurant that they offer but it was not good.
MoreIts a beautiful place to go with your family or with your couple, and also you can learn about coffee. :)
MoreThis tour was a great experience and I learned quite a lot about one of my favorite drinks. I was really lucky that another visitor could translate for me, which made for a far more emersive experience. The site is beautiful and had some noise from a nearby road. The coffee was good and the cost seemed reasonable at 25k. I would recommend this place if you love coffee and want to see how it is made.
