Hacienda Buenavista in Quimbaya

Amazing location! The hotel is super cosy and has a magnificent pool with a view of the surrounding area! We absolutely loved the place.

I visited with my husband in February, we stayed for 3 nights! We loved the place!! The pool with the views were all we needed for a heavenly vacation. Lynn and Floris wenr out of their way to accommodate us and no request seemed to be an inconvenience. The rooms are spacious and just beautiful especially if you get one with a balcony. The food was also great and we loved our private hike to the river. We would love to visit again someday!

It was simply amazing, i discovered the place browsing around the web, from the hotels site it looked beautiful and upon arrival it was a thousand times better. The concept of this hotel is precise and simple: a getaway for couples in the secrecy and beauty of the colombian coffee region. The hotels view its spectacular, for us it was a rainy afternoon and night but still was breath taking. The service is one of a kind. The owners greet you and make you feel at home, in my own experience it was an anniversary celebration and a surprise marriage proposal, which one of the owners helped me with.Foodwise the menu has great options and the food is delicious. I would tell you more but im afraid i could spoil all the goodies.It is a magical place and i would come back definitely.

This is my favorite hotel in the whole world. I had an incredibly 4 nights/5 days here and I can’t wait to be back.When I walked in, within 5 minutes, I added an extra night and then did that again a day later.Most importantly, Lynn and Flores are incredible and they’ve done an incredible job building a perfect guest experience. They’re fun to talk to and have great humor to go with it. They love treating their customers and don’t hand that off to staff, which is really impressive. They helped plan excursions like taking a boat to a guided waterfall hike (highly recommendand a coffee farm tour. You can also hike through the farm and watch workers pick oranges or Avocados. They made you feel like family to the point where I wanted to help with chores out of habit.The hotel itself is incredible. It’s 5 rooms, so it’s very quiet. I went solo, and ended up having the place to myself during the days a lot because other guests went out to sightsee. And it’s a great place to do nothing. The beds are really comfortable, which was a relief after my Medellin experience. There was a great rain shower with a view. Plenty of space in my room. There’s multiple areas to sit and get different views - I like the seats under the tree that give you a view and soundtrack of birds.The food is great. There’s a variety and they’re happy to make anything you want based off what they have. The chefs are talented and made really great food. The desserts were a highlight.If you’re worried about the weather, don’t. It can show rain, but you just get a short shower during the afternoon and it’s a nice relief.If you’re visiting, try to spend time at the hotel during the day. It’s a great place to do just nothing.

This is a slice of heaven, with incredible views, impeccable service from both the owners themselves and the wonderful staff. Enjoy the pool overlooking a beautiful valley, indulge in the chefs cuisine of both comida tipica or international dishes, and take a walk through the farm of pineapples, papayas, and avocados. Nearby, you can take day trips to Valle de Cocoro, Salento, Quimbaya, and a coffee farm. We love everything about Hacienda Buenavista (weve been here twice and cant wait to return).

El mejor hotel boutique del Quindío!

This place was amazing, the view lives up to the pictures. At sunset sitting in the jacuzzi life seems pretty good. The hosts are wonderful, always topping up drinks and chatting but never intrusive. The chef is fantastic and the animals - cats and dogs make this place feel like a home away from home. Hope to be back one day!

Hacienda Buenavista, in my opinion, is the secret lair of Mr. & Mrs. Bond! They go by the names Flores and Lynn nowadays. They’ve had their fill of death defying adventures and decided to retire on a hilltop overlooking an insanely picturesque valley, tucked far away in the Colombian coffee region. This place has got the works: a river meandering through the valley, lush green mountains, happy cows lazing around, colorful birds drifting through, and a nice little village at the bottom of the hill, all oblivious to the fact that they live in the presence of stone cold assassins…trust me, Flores and Lynn can kill you with their kindness. The Hacienda is beautifully appointed and has many personalized touches that come about only when people are passionate about what they do. We stayed 3 nights in mid-November and were able to truly unwind. On our first 2 days, we did a coffee tour, visited Cocora Valley, Salento and Filandia. We spent an entire day at the property which turned out to be a brilliant idea. Food prepared on site was exceptional, and my vegetarian dietary restriction posed no problem. We look forward to visiting again.

Hacienda Buenavista

This is the best mini hotel I ever visited, if you want privacy, tranquility and the best services with the top international cuisine this is the place to visit. You will be attended by the owners itself, you can schedule whatever you want and they will have it ready for you. If you want to take a taxi , the owner will inspect the car and will give the driver the green light confirming that the car qualifies to carry their customers.. excellent!!

Just the most amazing experience you will ever had. This is beyond something you can describe, you have to experience it to understand it. The most relaxing and beautiful place i have ever been. The host are simply amazing, a must go.
