HOOK in Beirut

One of my favorite places to go to in Beirut area. It has excellent food, an amazing staff, and the environment of the space is cozy and warm. There are also many board games for social fun gatherings. Sadly, It could be closed now due to the recent conditions in Lebanon.

I went several times to this little gem in the heart of a cozy neighborhood and i can say that every experience gets better than the other. The place is at the angle of the street and blends perfectly with the surroundings which gives a great welcoming to the coffee place. such an original indoor design and awesome work on the outdoor facade. promoting Lebanese brands and artists, the place welcomes a variety of people from youngsters to adults and is filled with board games and relaxing music to chill or work on your laptop or simply read enjoying a great cup of coffee or tea .You can as well have a tasty lunch and healthy breakfast while reading your book or enjoying your time with some friends!! run by a family i highly recommend the place , the prices are fair and the quality of the food is very high! keep going!

Could not recommend this place enough! Its become one of my favorite coffee shops to visit. The atmosphere as well as the owners are friendly and warm. I also really enjoy the little trinkets and merch here and there on their shelves! Very cool vibe!

Its very bad to have coffee shops and restaurants in residential neighborhoods and buildings. Lebanese bad culture. Although Hook is a nice and elegant coffee shop and not like the low ones offering the poisonous Arguile

I love this place. Homey and quiet. Owners are super friendly. Very good coffee and delicious sandwiches and breakfast served. Variety of cakes served each day. It just hooks you instantly.

Loved the place, loved the ambiance and the decoration.. the owners are always there and glad to help you with anything you need.. i tried their Espresso, was a bit acidic for me, the cappuccino is good but the rakwe needs some work.. all in all it was a good experience, to be repeated

Very vibrant café. The smoothies here are one of the best Ive tasted in Beirut. The staff is super friendly and willing to cater to anything. I enjoyed looking around the small collection of items for sale, theyre so cute. The soup served here is also really good as far as my experience goes.Pretty good place to go to if you just want to sit down with someone and have a casual talk.

The best specialty coffee in beirut (even if they don’t brand it as suchand priced at a non pretentious price. Super friendly, even to families. Coffee served with a lot of love. One of my top three espressos in all of beirut. Great job

Amazing cafe with a real Amsterdam style interior and menu. The cappuccino is amazing and all the food (i triedwas really good and prepared with care. The locals are lucky to have Hook as a cafe :)

I love that cafe its just so nice and chill you can go there to study, play board games and just hangout in general! The owners are present most of the time and they are the sweetest people you can find! The location is great right in the heart of a busy area! They host events from time to time and you can ask to have your birthday there! Oh and its kid friendly! All in all its a wonderful cafe!

My love for hidden gems that has equally a story behind is insatiable! A sweet couple turned a family business closed since the 70s into the coziest coffee shop, and I was hooked!Attentive service, amazing selection of beverages and even home made cakes by Torta. You can also shop from the Good Thymes, Tartinades and other handmade items from authentic suppliers.The decoration has also many vintage collectibles; they even have a fidelity card to stamp upon each visit! They also organize themed nights, so keep your eyes on their social media platforms.
