Such a gem of a place hidden in plain sight. I have stayed in the vicinity for the past 6 years and never knew a place like this existed. Very unique museum showcasing the history of the HMT industry. A very elaborate display of their watch making components and all the models they have ever produced. Totally isolated with a lovely childrens park. You can easily spend an afternoon here. There is also a HMT watches outlet on the campus.

Very neatly maintained place and the entry ticket is 30/- for adults. A walk around this place is nostalgic as we get to know how HMT evolved from its humble beginnings. There is an audio visual treat, however I did not get to see as I visited close to 5.30pm. The section on tractor and watch making is undoubtedly mind blowing. I would recommend visiting this place in the morning as the time spent is worth knowing what HMT accomplished and where is it heading towards.

An excellent history of our countrys oldest machinery and watches history and current survival is shown in an extremely very organized and understandable ways to the people. The HMT Heritage center explains its history how its evolved since the begining till now. Most of the people arent aware about this place. Its good to know our own country products like hmt machinery, printers, watches, trackers, etc. Its one of the knowledgeable place to know stuff, which most of us arent aware of.The making of the watches start from the scratch the iron raw material to dial making, cutting, fixing, assembling the parts of the dails, varities of straps in weather, gold and diamond are explained with the machines and pictorial presentation. Many more to go here!!Within the premises well maintained park.

Some of the antique watches on display will take you back in time. Specially found the janatha series watched which I had seen while growing up. One of the best museum Ive visited, hands down. If you are a gadget freak then you must definitely take a look of this place. It depicts on how HMT manufacturing industries worked and their products are showcased here. The entire history of HMT firm can be learnt here. The product they worked and the back-end is seen here. Variety of products and their uniqueness can be observed in depth. Their watches are available for purchase in the shop besides museum. Young as well as elderly people can spend their time here. There is a very less entry fees of ₹30 per person. Overall its a neat and clean museum. If 45min to 1 hour spared, then one can see the museum clearly along with the audio visual information. Visit is a must to this place, once at least.

HMT is the pride of India. And to know the history of HMT machine and its contribution to Indian development one should visit the museum. Very nicely done Museum. Green and peaceful place. Good to bring young kids and also for history students. With Knowing the history you could also get a HMT Tractor ride, which is wonderful. The most important thing is that though now there is no active production of HMT Watches but still the museum have a shop where you can buy the Indias first fancy watches at nominal price. They are a very good gift for parents and grandparents. MUST VISIT. The staff there are very helpful will explain everything very patiently.
