HELL Pizza - Pizza restaurant in Queenstown, New Zealand
HELL Pizza in Queenstown
Description
Privilege
Honestly the friendliest staff I’ve been served by in Queenstown! Delicious great quality food too
MoreGreat pizza, nice place to eat in, cool decor and nice staff.
Good enough - had the Envy pizza however was really lacking in base sauce. Garlic bread was also barely cut up, meaning we had to pick it apart. Kitchen was obviously busy and young girl manning the register was doing heaps good to both serve and clean tables.
MoreTo whoever made my Margherita pizza around 20 minutes ago (5:30pm), I am in love with you. Never in my life have I tasted something so divine and beautifully presented, did I ever think my favourite pizza ever could come from hells? no. but I am surprised. every flavour melted in my mouth and for once in my life I do not regret getting takeaway for dinner. Thank you
MoreAbsolutely cracking pizza, friendly staff, good atmosphere and well priced! Definitely try the Lust Deluxe 👌
MoreThe recommended address for closest hell was at a location in the other island…….. we where in Queenstown and it chose hell island bay…. As people from outside NZ we just thought it was the one in Queenstown as it was reccommened from our address in Queenstown that we entered… with the suburb queenstown… When we tried to get the pizza the manager pointed out it was the wrong store then told us to leave. When we called the other location to see what we do re refund they said they couldn’t.
MoreGood pizza. Not too busy. 3 chilis is quite spicy.
Its ok, atmosphere was cool but food was average.
Highly disappointed, order two pizzas which was good, but the 40 dollars worth of boiled chicken nibbles with sauce on top was absolutely disgusting. Would not recommend didnt want to eat them as we thought we would all get sick.
MoreThe pizzas are delicious but the manager on staff would not remake my pizza after they made the incorrect style. I visited here three times while in town and had nothing bad to say prior to this but would not recommend after my experience this time - I understaffed staffing issues are all over Queenstown at the moment but that is not an excuse for poor service.
MoreHad the vegan burger pizza and garlic bread and golly this was a treat. Thick crust base with what seemed like 2 literal burger patties crushed over the top, lashing of burger sauce. What seems like an insult to Italy is actually delicious.
MoreWhat an artful entry into this pizza establishment. Good service and tidy presentable restaurant.
MoreWas told my order would be another 5 minutes when I arrived to pick it up. After 30 minutes of watching the staff chat and dance with each other I asked when it would be ready to find out it was already ready and no one had bothered to tell me (I had been staring and making eye contact with them the whole time)
MoreNot worth the “spice” hype.Bought two of the same pizza to see the difference in heat. “Hot as hell” pizza was not worth it, and the plain pizza lacked flavour.
MoreWe’ve come again and again on our week trip. Lovely and helpful owner with a great sense of humour. Food was at exceptional prices with flavour and choices out of this world!
MoreGot a couple of Pizzas and some wedges. Order was made in just 30 min. Ingredients were tasty, Pandemonium pizza was quite nice but the other one very dry due to lack of base sauce (picwhich seems like a silly problem to have in a pizza. Wedges were really good but quite a small portion. It was ok, but wont go again and wouldnt recommend over the other great pizza places here in Queenstown. Sorry.
MoreGood service, warm inside!Pizza nice as always.
Great pizza, the pasta was to die for and prompt service, best pizza in the world 🌎
MoreI ordered through uber eats to my hotel. Was quick service, however requested cutlery which was not given. The cheesecake looked like melted ice-cream and the lamb shanks peas and mash was not completely cooked. Not ordering again.
MoreReally great pizza and very nice service. The Vegetarian pizza was excellent and the “Lust”meat lovers style pizza was great. And they do smaller individual sized pizzas if you want, so you don’t have to try and eat a full size one. Recommended for lunch.
MoreTHANK YOU to the lady at the counter who offered to carry my pizza to the car for me as I was on crutches. And yummy Saviour pizza.
MoreI found a hair in a vegan pizza from here some years ago and that put me off Hell pizza since. Gave it another chance recently, and it was pretty decent (no hair this time). Guess Im back to having Hell pizza again.
MoreGreat service and great pizza. As they sell bug bottles if drink we were able to buy 1 bottle to share, and were given glasses to help share it.And the meat lovers was just magic. Never has a better one.
MoreToppings were barely cooked and there was still wrapping on the salami!? The onion rings were good, the rest not eatable.
MoreI dont know why we decided to eat here tonight, but its a decision we quickly regret. The chicken smelled off, the cheese was nasty, the olives were old, the avocado was just bad. We ate the vegetarian pizza because we were starving after a full day, but the chicken was not eatable. I dont know how they are still operational, either fix your ingredients or close your doors, this is a crime. This is not a budget friendly takeaway either. Two star for the good service.
MoreQuiet place which we loved. Pizza was delicious as were the beers to go with it. Staff nice and friendly.Didnt ask for vaccine passport or wear masks.
MoreHell Pizza Queenstown is our new favourite pizzeria. Geoff and Kates hospitality and great food totally won our hearts (and tummies😛over. Great service, great people and the best pizza in Queenstown.
MoreBest Pizza 🍕 ever 😋, normally get Hell delivered but this is a Licensed store so you can enjoy beers, wine and spirits while pizza comes straight from oven to table. Great hospitality by the friendly staff and owner. Highly recommend 👌
MoreTerrible experience I order my pizza it should’ve arrive at 4:30pm. 5:15 pm still no answer try to ring the restaurant 4 times with no answer. Contacted Uber eats they said the restaurant delivers the pizza them selfs. So it was out of there control. Uber eats also couldn’t reach them. So I canceled my order.Very professional guys.
MoreMy experience at Hell Pizza was not the best, the pizza was with Bacon and Salami poorly baked. The chicken wings I ordered were also undercooked and had too much sauce. Ive never had such a bad experience anywhere else.
MoreThe best takeaway ribs I have ever gotten! Cooked so nicely, they were amazing. Also very quick service. All the staff were lovely too!
MoreAmazing Pizza! Full of flavor, cheese and toppings. Snack size is filling and great for a lunch in the lake. Definitely recommended. Always good local and web deals. Friendly staff is a plus :)
MoreGreat place! And a great option for gluten free people, the pizza size is pretty decent and the staff was very friendly with us, specially with our complicated order, and they nailed every detail down! Will come back for sure for that garlic bread.
MoreNew owner been there 6weeks he said, lovely bloke from a small town. He was awesome, we had a tired and grizzly young one and couldnt make sense of all the cool and fancy names. We told him what we were after and he delivered! And some. Great service, good wait time and delicious pizzas, wedges and garlic bread. Fully reccomend 😊
MoreReally great pizza and also pricing! Possible to eat on a budget for the whole family. We particularly liked the veggie option. Overall, not a hellish experience at all 👍😊
MoreThe pizza was delicious! I had the basic cheese pizza, which had a dollop of pesto on each slice. Yum!For those visiting from out of town, you won’t be able to order the pizzas online but you could easily give them a call and they’ll deliver it right over!
MoreGluten free pizza has 2 bases to choose from. I chose original and it had a great flavour base, crispy and not spongy. You can choose from selection of flavour choices or make your own up with 8 toppings. Definitely stop by if looking for a good feed that is well priced. You can also get snack size and takeaway.
MoreWe hat the "Lust Deluxe" in size Snack, Onion Rings and the Cickenwings with Cola BBQ Sauce. The Pizza was good same as the Onion Rings. The Cickenwings tasted like Medicine. The Staff was friendly. Shoutout to the new Girl who was very nervous. You did a good Job.
MoreI feel through there might be better pizza joints in Queenstown. The garlic bread and jalapeno poppers werent too bad, but something was lacking with the pizza, I cant quite put my finger on exactly what though.. Their open kitchen is not the most appealing that Ive seen (picture below). 3 stars....Just.
MoreTried out Hell’s Pizza when I was in Queenstown. I ordered for the most basic pizza which was okayish. It is great to fill the stomach but not very tasty. The pie style pizza doesn’t really work as there is less cheese & more flour. Hope they improve the quality for the price they charge.
MoreThe first time being told to go to hell was a good thing! Was boring this time, but next time I intend to try some of their more exciting varieties.
MoreDecent pizza and you can grab a beer at a reasonable price. Staff super friendly 🙂Please like this review if it helped 😁
MoreFantastic gluten and dairy free pizza. Tasted like a normal pizza.
Option of very spice is available here. Good Pizza and lot of herbs and spices. We ordered vegetarian hell pizza with extra spice and some of us could enjoy well
MoreDecent pizza and a decent price - had a few specials for snack size + pint, which was nice.I tried a few pizza places in town and while this wasn’t my favorite I could find myself coming back here again.I opted to create my own as all of the menu pizzas were a bit over the top, but I did enjoy that they offer Quorn as a vegetarian substitution for pizza to broaden their menu even more to veggies.Staff was very nice and patient as I turned out to be the last customer yet they didn’t rush me out the door when I dined in.
MoreHELL Pizza is a great place to come for lunch or dinner and are looking for a quick and delicious meal. The restaurant’s aesthetics have been well thought out and effectively add to the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff that were at the store when I was there was a tad on the creepy side with them watching you as you eat but apart from that it was a really great experience.
Morebest cheese pizza ever tasted.the staff is also nice and kind .I donno the secret ingredient but I just love it.will recommend its cheese pizza as a must have .the menu is also striking and so is the style of the art in the restaurant.
MoreThis place has a beautiful cheesy pizza and I love it. A little bit oily but it tastes nice.
MoreOne of the best pizzas I have had in a long time! I wished there was just a bit less cheese and replaced it with more chicken to beef it up a little. I shared a thin stretch double pizza with a side of corn nuggets with my wife - more than enough for the two of us but if youre a big eater then you may want more. I found it to be very affordable when sharing, but costly if you need lots of food for yourself. The store itself is set out really well and sets a great HELL atmosphere.
MoreNothing special really - your little corner home-owned pizzeria will always be nicer, but good if you want a bite to eat and arent fussed. A little overpriced for what it was.
