Great service, good atmosphere but the food was ....Lets just say I would rather have gone to my local kebab shop and they would have done a better job.The lamb tagine was obviously reheated, but they didnt even get that right, so I got some cold lamb which was 25% hard fat and the other was bone.Basically, please cook your food properly, and once you got that sorted it itll be decent.

Loved everything about this place. Amazing staff, the food is so yummy but also makes you feel like you ate healthy, open on a Sunday evening (!), and great atmosphere. A solid 5 stars ✨

I always find Haz to be disappointing, and this time was no different. (I was having a working lunch and so did not get to choose the venue, in case you were wondering why I went back if I dont like it!The service is always indifferent at best, not matter which restaurant you go into. My starter was cleared before I was finished - I had crossed my knife and fork on the plate to indicate I was still eating, but they whipped the plate away from me before I could stop them. My main - swordfish - was overcooked. Thankfully the company made up for an underwhelming lunch. Wouldnt go back through choice.

Nice place to eat but I wont be going back as I feel the prices are not in line with what you get. Chicken and veg in a tomato based sauce was £18 and then £4 or there abouts for a side serving of rice. Ridiculous to spend £22 on such a basic dish. £15 to £18 would be plenty including the rice! All up to personal opinion of course!

Meal and food was very very good! Service is good but it was very busy so things took a little longer to arrive. But overall no complaints!

We had a good time here the food plentiful and flavoursome a bit pricey as you can get the same quality for half the price elsewhere.

Went there tonight .. quality of food gone downhill significantly only ate half the dish menu has changed. service was below par. For what we paid we should have gone somewhere else Male toilets flush was held together by tape.. was awful very very disappointing been going there over the past 15 yrs dont mind paying good money for good food and service I will not be going backI will not go back.

So expensive its ridiculous.Mixed grill is £15 but doesnt come with rice, then rice £4, service charge about £3 so £22 for mixed grill.Mixed grill is around £15 in efes.Mixed grill is about £10 at Ruyams.The taste is not any better at Haz just the price is loads more expensive

Odd vibes, we ordered the lamb shank but there was hardly any meat just fat and ALOT of apricots!! Id probably have more fun staring at the walls than this place.

Ive been here 7 times the last few weeks. Great location. Quiet and well presented restaurant. Located off the main road away from traffic. Staff are incredibly polite and helpful. The food has been tasty and consistent in quality each time. Definetely reccomend. Tried to eat somewhere else tonight nearby and i was dissapointed. I wished i had just gone back to Haz. Go there and enjoy a quiet good meal with staff that pay attention and make you feel welcome.

Excellent service, Olly was our waiter and he was attentive , polite, friendly and funny. The manager Ahmet was very nice and welcoming, al w as checking we were OK. My son has severe allergies and they were very accommodating to his needs, ensuring he was safe. The atmosphere was amazing, the food was delicious and we will definitely be back again...thank you 😊😊😊

The mixed grill has got so much Mediterranean flavour packed into it...it stirs the ancient BBQ aromas from millennia! Great chilled atmosphere and cool staff!

Service took far too long. Waitress couldnt be bothered to serve the 4 tables she had properly and kept is waiting for ages to order, didnt offer dessert menu and had to ask several times for it and then had to wait ages to pay. Food was good.

My first experience with Turkish food and it was delicious

HAZ is one of my favorite place to eat Middle Eastern cuisine. The ambiance is wonderful with well organized seatings to suit different needs white table cloth and huge windows. The service is great and friendly Turkish staff. The food is absolutely delicious. The prices are about right. Highly recommended.

This is really good food and service and you get large portions too. I don’t think my main was particularly Turkish but it was cooked well and tasted as good as it looked. Although we were a big party it didnt take long to get every servered. It seemed busy too which is always a good sign of it popularity

The staff was really friendly and welcoming. The food is great and tasty. You can taste every flavour.I would recommend asking for their chili sauce, it really compliments the dishes.We had a selection of starters so go to try quiet alot. I would recommend the feta and spinach parcels. The calamari was cooked perfectly and not chewy.The meal is very filling. We could not have desert unfortunately.

The evening was arranged by one of our party of ten as two students had graduated that day. We all meet and had a drink before the meal. We were seated and given menus to peruse. Our orders were taken and the first course arrived shortly afterwards. The main course was served shortly after the first course was cleared. The food was to a high standard and we all enjoyed it. The final course was served after a break and, again, it was enjoyed by all. From start to finish the service was attentive and the food was good. I look forward to returning another time.

Good food and service. Choice of food a little limited if youre not a big fan of Mediterranean, but if unsure the mixed grill was a safe and delicious choice.Quite a business meeting feeling in there, especially at lunchtime.

Excellent food and service. The best calamari Ive had; perfectly cooked, tender, tasty lamb (kuzu shish), and fabulously smooth hummus. Liver also excellent.

Always delicious food here, with good quality meat cooked by chefs who really know what they are doing. An excellent meal is practically guaranteed. Apparently they also do vegetarian stuff.

Came here over a very busy Christmas lunchtime. They managed to squeeze us in even though we had a large pushchair. Food was lovely but what really stood out was one of the lovely staff (wish I remembered her namewho went out of her way to help us look after our babys needs. Thank you so much

Nice Turkish food, we always have the menu with humus and chicken Shish and it’s delicious for 15 gbp ! It’s a large portion. Date and time of visit: 23/11/18 6pm+Food: Ordered Shrimp Pasta and Lamb Tangerine, and La Passion and Ginger Mint Mocktail. Pasta was too salty but we ordered the mocktails so it sort of balanced. Also ordered the Meza All Day (Majority of Starter menu options), it was deliciously savoury.Portions: Above average (Male Eater)Staff: Subpar. Service felt forced and they lacked enthusiasm. They just did the bare minimum. No smiles or whatsoever.Atmosphere: Exquisite, classy and decors were a mix of modern and contemporary approach. It was very relaxed.Facilities: Toilets available, sufficient seating

Went to this venue for a birthday celebration. They seem unable to handle larger groups (we were a party of 10). Service was very slow, took 1/2 hour to receive our starters. Red lentil soup was delicious but barely lukewarm. The rest of the party had cold starters so they were fine. Took another 30 mins to receive our mains. This time all of the food was lukewarm, and the chicken shish was overcooked and dry. Theres a much better restaurant serving good quality Turkish food close by for similar prices.

Thought this place was great! I had the Meze All Day and had a great mix of I think it was 8 different items. Particularly good if youre not sure what to order. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Staff are a bit disconnected (we were having plates put on our table as the head waiter spoke across it to other customersbut I have nothing to say against the quality of the food served. Good variety, you can easily choose between a few starters and a main to feed two.

Went here spontaneously one night and loved the food. Lamb stew was one of the best I’ve had, and the humus for starter was great. Not what Id call cheap, but not expensive either, given the location and quality. Will return one day if I’m in the area.

Had a late Friday night dinner here and was very happy with the food and customer service. The staff were constantly available, refilling our water jug and generally caring for all our needs. The food was rich, delicious and plentiful, especially the chicken skewers. The sides were somewhat modest, and the tabbouleh had too much parsley - but thats just me nitpicking!

I liked this place very much and the food was really nice. Unfortunately Im not very used to spicy food and even when I requested no chilli in my spaghetti it was still spicy so I wouldnt recommend if you dont like spicy food. Also the lack of air conditioning is worrying.

Went here for dinner today, arrived about 9.15 and asked if they were closing. The Manager was accommodating and let us in. Food was nice, but service let it down. Manager was fine but a female junior waitress was extremely rude!!!! On paying the £60 bill include £8+ service charge, when saying can we pay £30 on each card to which she abruptly said what?!? I repeated that and she said I don’t understand you again aggressively. Awful attitude, let’s down what would be a nice restaurant. Shame that waitress let it down.

What the hell happened to this place!?I have been coming here for over 10 years. The consistency has been amazing. However, on my last visit (02/08/18I discovered that they now charge extra for rice and do not provide the roasted vegetables anymore or the spicy sauce with the meet dishes. Menu has changed for worse and their prices over over the roof! Our bill came to 92 pounds for 3 mains, 3 starters and 3 drinks... Oh and the rice!

This review relates to the Cutler St restaurant. The first 3 minutes were ok. I always want a beer on arrival and nibbled.. got bread and hummos.. Good.. I was basically neglected after that for 20 minutes. Its gaulling to watch 2 staff at the counter in full view of me talking to each other. It was pathetic. I eventually got sight of a waitress and beckoned her. Many minutes later she asked for my order I asked for wine and bread and got it within 5 mins. Fifteen minutes have elapsed since then nothing else has arrived.I am being honest here, the service is shocking.Places like this need to first be told this, and then listen carefully to the criticism, and do something about it. The entrees came...he kalimarj.. much too oily, but generous, goat cheese tasted it was from Tesco, and pomegranate just ok, note I am not saying very good or excellent.. It is pedestrian average to good food here. Nothing more, nothing giving me a buzz at all. A shame as inside the restaurant is a very nice place. The chefs need to have a good look at what they prepare. Add some avant garde energy and innovation to dishes, give us some blackboard specials.. fish is recommended. Overall the restaurant is good but tiredTERRY.

I come here once a month and the service is always brilliant, you are greeted quickly, your coats taken and seated.The food is always really good quality and the menu is varied so suitable for vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters alike.Your food is served fresh and fast, and the staff only pop by to ask if everything is ok, any extra drinks etc once in a while so you arent interrupted alot.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere but the food is just ok. Portions are smaller than expected with very little on the plate to complement the main dish. Service was pretty poor the last time we visited too with the waiter misplacing the order. Wouldnt rush back.

Ive been eating at Haz for years and it was always a firm favourite of mine, however I was very disappointed to see on my last visit that they have changed the menu and not in a good way! The mix grill (previously one of my favouritesused to come with rice and lovely chargrilled vegetables / peppers. Now you dont get any rice and just one or two whole chillies instead.To me this just cheapens the whole meal making it more like a kebab you might order from some horrible late night place after a night of drinking!Haz please fix my favourite meal back to how it was before and Ill give you 5 stars again!

Authentic Turkish restaurant. The quality of food is outstanding and value for money. If you are looking for great Mediterranean cuisine and friendly service this place is not to be missed. Try the special deal, starter and mains for £14.99, which is reasonable if dining out in London. The lamb tagine is highly recommended and wont be disappointed.

Working in London from Birmingham. Walked 5 miles to arrive at 10:50 and to be told by the waiter theyre closed. Then I asked the manager and he said theyre open. He said the food is finished as everyone else has eaten now. The manager then said its fine to eat then the two of them started arguing as I left and slammed the door. Rude. Terrible service.

I had the two course special. Very reasonably priced. Hummus starter with bread. The main course was chicken shisk washed down with very good house wine. Excellent service. Atmosphere convivial. One of my favourite restaurants in London.
