Food is good, place looks cool as well, right in the city center of mainz

I came to Mainz for the first time excited, and left annoyed and angry because of this restaurant. If you plan on eating here PLEASE DONT, better go to Mcdonalds next to this restaurant. So high price for such disappointing service and food, it was almost empty so I guess locals dont go to this place since it is a huge scam. I wish I went to Mcdonalds instead of this disaster

Good food, but awful seats outside. Get the paper menus back, or at least add a button to call the waiter in the website because they take too long to come after seating

It took 8,5 min before the waiter was able to give a menu. Not good.

Special cooking requests are not taken here - the staff adhere only to menu options; a true hallmark of a fast food franchise chain.- I requested if they could make sure the sweet potato fries could be made crispy, as I ordered them once in the past and was given soggy fries.I was told, special requests like this simply cannot be made, you get what you get.Toilet signage is extremely tourist unfriendly.Instead of the normal "Toilette" sign followed with a clear "Damen/Herren" signage or traditional stick-figures, the signage was in a local dialect no tourist will have ever heard about.- Toilet was called "Örtchen", which just sounds like small place to a tourist with even good German skills.- Mens and Womens was called "Burschen" and "Madels" - thats not a typo, there was no umlaut over the "a".Very confusing stuff.I also ordered the Mint-Mango drink.It seems the mint was only added to the mango as a decoration as no trace of mint flavour could be found. It would have been great if they crushed one or two leaves before pouring, mojito style, but alas the taste comes secondary to pushing out the orders as fast as possible.At least the burgers were good.

Good service and tasty burgers! The chicken burger with goat cheese and blueberry jam is delicious! We really enjoy eating here. The drinks in the menu are a good option.

Beautiful day, so a little easier to excuse the slow service. Seems they are not fully staffed. Burger was basic and a bit dry, offset by a nice 0.3l draft beer.

Would not go back. They didn’t bring me what I ordered and weren’t willing to change it. The staff was unfriendly. Also, the coffee that they brought us was spilled all over the cup. Food below average and expensive prices.

Sweet potato fries here rule, and their sauces are a real treat. Burgers are delicious.

I would give exactly 1.5 stars if I could.I get the hip and vibey modern German thing. No problem with that at all. But the product is just not there....the food!!The burgers are average at best. You can not hold them and you have to eat them with a fork and knife. I looked around it wasnt just me doing this by neccessity. Also, they are super expensive. €15.40 for a lunch deal?! That is steep. So that takes off some stars.Secondly. I ordered a chicken and avocado burger with no sauce. I got a pork mince burger with plenty of sauce. Not even close. The burger was instantly remade no problems at all and as I said was OK at best.Side salad was fine but also expensive for just lettuce, a small cherry tomato and some sprouts.Fresh made drink was a nice touch to mass produced soda. Coffee was below par (wasnt expecting much from the auto-machinebut came with the "lunch deal"It seems like a cool place to meet up with people and the decor is nice but as for the actual product there are plenty of other way better burger options around for well below this price.

Delicious burger and excellent selection. The cocktails are also good. The trees in the interior create a natural atmosphere.

Amazing restaurant sauces. You can buy them as well, and we definitely could not resist buying an orange mustard sauce after our second visit. The grill sauce is also very good. Their regular and sweet potato fries are both great and the lemonade with mango and ingwer was fantastic. However, their main meals - the burgers - are unfortunately disappointing. The burger bread is too soft and the overall taste is meh. The restaurant itself is wonderfully decorated and their staff are generally friendly.

Burgers are good but the service is terrible. For two times they missed something in the delivery, Ive already paid for (this time the fries). Once they refunded me, the second time they didnt even answer the phone. Ive literally called for one hour, right after the delivery arrived. Ive attached the receipt.

This place has become one of my favs. The burgers 🍔 we had were very delicious. One of our friends dogs jumped out and our food dropped on the ground. The waiter quickly came to our rescue and served us another fresh meal. We loved the kind gesture. I would recommend this place to everyone 😊

It is a cosy, busy but with an agreeable atmosphere. Quick and very friendly service. There is a cool menu offer; price of a burger of choice plus 5 euro, one can get a delicious cold drink, a warm drink and a side dish such as chips or salad. It is still an healthy and vegetarian food. I did like it very much.

Good burger, but very misleading menu. They let you believe a menu costs 9.20€ but it actually costs that price on top of the price of a burger. So I ended up paying 20 euro for a burger, coleslaw and a small non alcoholic cocktail. Sorry, but for that price Id rather get a nice steak somewhere else..

This is a a very good burger joint with a funky and cool atmosphere. The food is very good and there is a wide range of choices. The staff is friendly, prompt, and helpful. The place is quite family friendly, too. In short, definitely worth a visit if you are in the vicinity.

Great service and even better burgers. Their lunch menu is simple to understand and food comes out really quick. Lunch includes burger, drink (great lemonade), fries/salad/or coleslaw, and a hot drink to end (expresso, coffee or cappuccino)

We go to this restaurant from time to time and we are very pleased with the food and service. When my wife was pregnant, her order was forgotten and she unfortunately had to wait for one hour. After she finished her meal, the restaurant compensated for this delay by not charging the meal as well as an additional coffee. Such a nice and kind attitude for the customers are not very common in Germany and therefore I would like to thank the restaurant for it.

Very tasty burger, cozy place, good service!

A nice alternative to the classic fast food joints. The interior is cozy and decorated with tree trunks, which gives it an organic feeling. Their menu is quite vast, and offers a choice of cocktails of their own making, beers and wine, as well as plenty of burgers. Getting to choose which type of bun you want is a nice plus. The meat itself is okay, but could be a bit juicier. The sauces, though, make up for that. Definitely add the coleslaw to your meal, as its quite good and adds freshness.

Used to be above average for the franchise. Neat Cocktails, could have more zing. Burgers and salads used to be great in the past. Salad prep is a bit varied, better avoid. Bartenders, waiters, and one of 4 waitresses are great, the rest of the team is good for the bin. Beware of narrow stairs down to restrooms.

Excellent burgers. Huge selection with lots of vegetarian, vegan and low carb alternatives. Service is friendly and fast. The restaurant is designed to look like a forest, which looks amazing but is not so great for the acoustics. Quite loud but not overbearing. All in all really nice!

Ordered avocado burger, wasnt disappointed at all, got the fresh and fruity taste of the avocado, amazing burger. Had sauerkraut to go with it, loved the extra pumpkin seeds they put in it. Great cocktail, big thanks to the friendly waitress that helped me choose the Wanderer. If youre a fan of ginger, its an absolute must-try. Plus the really interesting decoration, made me feel really cosy.

Really nice place, well decorated. One of the better burgers i ever ate in my life, good cocktail. Good service from the employees, they were all very friendly and even helpful in choosing the right cocktail for us. Nothing bad to add really, why a 4 and not a 5? Because i dont easily give a 5/5. This is a great burger place with a really authentic warm atmosphere. The burgers are a little small for the price I find. The quality is very good and music and tables/ space very inviting. I would say its a great spot for dates and groups not so much for a quick bite to eat.

Ate some burgers with a friend. I must say that the burgers are rather unusual but very tasty and saturating. The staff is very polite and responsive. The waiting time was a bit long but the food was top notch. Most certainly will eat there again some time

Lots of choices of burgers for vegetarians and vegans. Staff friendly offered English menu. Ordered the burger with goats cheese bacon and fig jam- very tasty. The beef patty a little over done and not piping hot, would have preferred it hotter and more medium rare beef patty. Decor inside was super cool.

I love Hans im gluck burgers. The atmosphere is nice, it also has outside sitting. Staff is very friendly. The menu meals are good for lunch. Vegan options are available as well. Most of time its crowded so it is recommended to get a reservation. The prices are a bit on higher side though.

For the price, the burgers are small. Mainz has better options for burgers, but if you go here you will get a good one. No complaints about the service or anything else. The decor is amazing, but Im there to eat, so I cant bump it up one star just for cool atmosphere.

An upscale burger restaurant with unique decoration. Usually is very crowded and attracts younger clients. The menu is limited compared with other similar restaurants , the food quality is good but the food itself is not something special. Quite overpriced for what it offers.

Excellent food- refreshing drinks-good service. Really cool decor of aspen trees all through the resturant. Highly recommend- menu covers everyone!Veggies,Vegans,meat eaters and salades! Try it-youll love it!

Good value for money. This restaurant has a special focus on burgers. I recommend the one with beef meat, goat cheese and bacon. It is absolutely delicious. The homemade French fries fell a bit below expectations though. Next time, I would rather order a different side dish. The place has a nice atmosphere, it feels a bit like in a forest (because of the numerous birch trunks that fill the room).
