Firstly at entrance they wont accept cash and UPI only card payment is there, thats a big disappointment. If you want to take your phone inside with you they will charge extra 20 rupees for that not worth at all.Overall average place good to visit once, even if you wont visit you wont regret.

A must visit place for aviation enthusiasts and students. One would certainly appreciate the significance of HAL in building Indias aerospace manufacturing capabilities after visiting the place. They have decommissioned planes and helicopters displayed around the campus. The place is well maintained and has a canteen and souvenir shop. They also have a small kids play area. Covering the museum shouldnt take more than an hour. The hall of fame has some very interesting photos of eminent personalities who ha visited HAL.You get ample free parking adjacent to the museum. The charges are nominal but they do charge INR 20 per mobile phone if you want to carry them inside. Overall perfect for a short weekend outing.

It is a good place to learn about our Indian aerospace history. The place is a must visit specially if you have kids. The AV show though us not very appealing, it is just a recorded video played via projector.

Thoroughly loved this place. There was lot of things than expected. Art gallery, real jet engines, airforce flights, lots of prototypes, simulator, video show, garden any many more. Well maintained. If you are a photo person then this is one place you dont want to miss. Only thing was we had to wait for a long time in the ticket counter as only one person issued the ticket even on weekend. Rest everything was good. Spent almost 4 hours there.

Its a pretty good museum to visit, whether youre a fan of planes or not. Surprisingly it was free the day I visited, so that was a nice surprise. Lots of aircraft on display, and some engines also displayed inside, along with a long gallery with important moments in HAL and Indian aerospace history. There is also a simulator(which has a separate ticketbut I sadly didnt have time to try it out.

This place is a must visit. Rs.80 per head is the entry fee. You need to walk around the place to see the aircrafts and get knowledge about it. It gives you goosebumps when you see it up close because its quite different from what we watch in the movies and in real. There are different models of planes, helicopters and engines. There is a hall of fame with all the stories from 1940s.It was mentioned there was an Orchidarium but the greenhouse of orchids was closed. I could see only few orchids inside. Not sure why it was not allowed for everyone to see.

Yes, i love visiting museums and it’s in my to-do list whenever i visit different cities. HAL museum is a good museum for all those aeronautical fans but one thing which i faced issue was reaching the museum, it showed me route from inside the colonies and somehow i asked people and reached the museum. Bought some sovereign from the shop and saw various aircrafts but most of them are not in their original condition which makes them look fake, that took some charm away.Anyways good place to be if you have time and you got nothing to do.
