Good food vendors

We enjoyed a nice bag lunch at one of the picnic tables, in the sun !!! It was a nice way to visit on a short lunch break !!! 😎

Went for the opening of the skating rink. June 25th went to Elvis show. Was fabulous

Free music, lots of food vendors, beautiful weather near the beach, whats not to like!

Great Beach Cruise. This must have been the largest ever! Entertainment at the Gyro Park was OK.

A great place for a picnic!

When events are happening, this is a great location. The city does a good job at keeping the park well groomed. Its always great to hear performance from the band shell and the concrete dancefloor is a great addition for everyone to enjoy.The only thing that would make it better in my opinion would be the addition of picnic tables for people to enjoy while theres no events happening

It was a little wet today but the volunteer appreciation event was very well organized!

Nice open park with big trees, and picnic benches. Was very clean and a nice spot to soak up a nice spring day.

Awesome place to hang out at music festival

Bathrooms had running water and flush toilets. Pretty clean too.

Good music food trucks were good.

It was magical we did the native rain dance and in 3 minutes it just poured..

The Mini Peach Fest bands are fantastic. Its so nice to be out listening to live music.

Attended a great show. Need to do this more often. A few more food truck choices would have been nice.

Nice spot that gets very busy in the summer and limited parking but it is free and you can get hot and cold food at the little food stand nice beach with a dog gets very busy in the summer

Have a blast whenever I take my dogs to Gyro park. A beautiful place to go to spend a couple hrs with Ur buddiez

Nice park. Perfect place for outdoor entertainment.

Nice small park to play frisbee, eat lunch or just enjoy the scenery.

Not a lot of shaded seating. Hard to see the performers in the bandshell when its sunny. Sound is decent.

Great outdoor event space. Over the years we seen Concerts, church services, and so many more events happening here.

Great venue to hear live music. It was a beautiful night!!

Best starting point for taking in all of the different features of Downtown Penticton. A huge number of events are staged here all summer, so bring a lawn chair. Can get a bit sketchy after dark; stick to the daylight hours and enjoy.

Great Venue at the South Okanagan Lake.Good acoustics from the Band Shell...

Was at the Elvis Festival it was great location easy to get to , was in walking distance to everything.

Really nice park on the shore of Okanagan Lake in Penticton.Lots to see and do here. Plenty of parking. A great off leash dog park here as well. Walking distance to great food and drinks, not to mention shopping for all sorts of things. Peachfest is held here every year with awesome car shows, venders, and activities for all ages. The concerts held in the bandshell are always memorable.So come to Penticton and see what we have to offer... You wont regret it!

Ig is a nice park. Great to hang out or go to fun events in the summer.

Nice and clean park and my girlfriend got to meet the Canadian Prime minister!

A Great park with lots if family stuff going on. Was an honour to see the Prime Minister visit for British Columbia day. On Friday nights they mostly have a live band playing. On Saturday mornings the market is right there as well. Very close to the beach. Lots of space to sit down and relax.

The organizers for the car show put on an excellent venue at the park.

Beautiful shaded park featuring a bandshell and restrooms. There always seems to be some kind of entertainment at Gyro park!

A traditional style "park along Main Street" situated amongst tall pine trees, served by a bandshell on one side, where entertainment is provided from. Bring a lawn chair, perhaps an umbrella to escape the hot sun, and some money to shop at the vendors selling their food, drinks and other "necessities".

The best place that holds City functions and Concerts. Great Band Shell. Across from the Provincial Court House.The boardwalk is across the street and the sidewalk is rubbery and bouncy as you walk East to West along Lake Okanogan.
