Gyro King in Palm Harbor

Lately its hot or miss. The gyro meat was dry and I paid extra for feta and it was still dry af.

Good gyros... great deal on Wednesdays - buy one get one free. Staff is friendly.

We used to eat at the holiday location and I just found them in palm harbor. What a treat to get that awesome cheese steak again.

I’ve had 3 different Phillys this week. And the only thing I regret is not buying this voluptuous tasty MF each and every time!!!! AND not getting extra sauce on the side!!!! I was getting down before I took the picture my apologies <3SN: steak fries topped it off

So...My Husband came home very disappointed. We have been coming here for 25 years. A side if gyro meat went up a $1.50. The 10 piece wing went up $6.75. He asked to substitute celery for pepperoncini you said no. We wont be coming here again.

Large office order and incorrect. Called and they stated they would send the corrected 2 orders. They did bring the corrected order but then asked for the incorrect food back. I was not told to keep it and return it when I called It was a soggy mess and we had opened and touched going through the order to give to everyone so it had been thrown away. Upon letting them know this they told me I had to pay for the new corrected items 20plus more dollars on top of the already $150 ticket I paid for. Not to mention I ended up paying for two more salads when they had sent some kind of soggy salad gyros and replaced with salads. The driver wanted to write my charge card number and pay when she got back. I refused and called the manager. Then had to pay him over the phone. While on the phone I informed the manager we have ordered large catering orders for parties in the past and go there often. I let him know due to lack of communication and understanding we would no longer be going to them or recommending. The only thing he had to say was he hoped we would change our mind. Why would the want the soggy mess that had been handled back to begin with?

Love this place so much we go 45 mins out of our way when were heading past that general way. Lol Gyros and French Dips are great but I also found they sell the Gyro meat by the lb 😁

Their signature sandwich the Gyro was terrible, had very little taste. The quality of the food is poor. The cashier was cursing in front of customer, the guy cleaning the kitchen was coughing all over the kitchen. The restaurant is filthy the floor is slippery where you dine in. For the price they charged me I expected a better experience, I don’t recommend this place, it’s poorly run.

Food was absolutely AMAZING!! Big portions, friendly and fast service, and those cannolis are to die for!! They also have a pretty big menu which is full of great choices, and specials too.

My boyfriend and I go every Wednesday for their 2 for 1 Gyros. They are always fresh and have great friendly service despite how busy they are. They have specials every night of the week.

Great food, and always there on Wednesday for the BYGO gyros. Fast service and delicious food.

First time there. Purchased two gyros, one with feta cheese and one without. Good portions of meat. Could taste the garlic from the flavoring added. Meat was tender and pita bread was good. We normally go to Seminole Subs because we love their gyros but they are not close to our home. Will be back but wished there was more onions on it. Had sliced tomatoes. They said they add peppers too but didnt see much for peppers or onions.

They used to be great. Finally made it back and it was horrible , gyro meat was dry, husbands sandwich hardly had any tzatziki sauce so he ask for a little more they wanted to charge a dollar for it, the cook said thats the amount that comes on the junior gyro, so that dollar just cost him any future orders from us. ordered tater tots as a side they were so overcook they deflated when u bit into them. The WORST part was how dirty and filthy the dining area was it is so disgusting, ended up leaving. When the pizza shop and gyro king were one place it was good food there is a wall that separates them now. Not sure how the pizza place is.

Gyro king is definitely KING! Absolute amazing staff and super fast, The food is incredible! And priced well. They don’t skimp you on any portion, (Especially meat)! Highly recommend

I would hope that every single restaurant out there knows that you don’t heat up salad related subs. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad wrap and it was burning hot when I got into my car the small bit of salad looked like dried up spinach it was absolutely disgusting and I had to ask for a refund from GrubHub as a result. Chicken Caesar salad’s come cold, not hot. And come with more salad than this! Please remove it from your menu.

Ordered the buffalo shrimp which I was told was half a pound. The food I received was half a pound of batter encasing a salad shrimp small as you can get it. The chicken soulvaki was also flavorless and fatty.

I love this place. The Philly steak sandwich is a favorite of mine. Theres so many great things on the menu.

Only ate there once. Called in an order. Service seemed OK, Gyro was mostly meat but very good. Would have preferred more balance with lettuce, tomato, sauce. Kind of busy but place did not look or feel clean. Was going to order again today (2 for one Wedbut read a lot of bad reviews. Based on that Im not going back. I owned 2 restaurants in another state. Does Florida even HAVE a health Dept. That inspects food places? Ive spent many years all over Florida. Never seen one being inspected, but Ive seen a ton of dirty restaurants with horrible hygiene. Usually if dining room is dirty, you wont want to see the kitchen.

Great local place! Literally THE BEST cheesesteak I’ve ever tasted!!!! I also had the chocolate cheesecake baklava WOWZERS I went to heaven!!! It’s a MUST if your nearby

This sandwich was large and good. I like feta but it kind of overpowered the flavor of the gyro meat. Also, I wish they added lettuce and tomatoes. And I hardly tasted the sauce... the meat itself was good.

I love going here. The food is Good. The owner works rite there with his great employees.

It was ok. I was told they have the best gyros around. I have had better at acropolis in Clearwater. The place seemed kind of dirty. Everything painted black not a good vibe

Great food. all of it. Cubans are really good. Have been here dozens of times over the years. Always happy. Their fries and fried mushrooms are amazing.

Not sure what’s going on with that place usually the gyros are good but the last one I got is one of the worst gyros I’ve ever had couldn’t even finish it because of the smell and extreme bitter taste of what is supposed to be feta cheese, taste like it’s completely gone bad! Hopefully was just a bad day because good lord that was terrible

We got the Saturday special and was surprised how good it was. We also got the menu to go so we can frequent this place more. The last time we were here was 2 years ago and they kept up there service and food quality. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

As always...delicious and served by nice people. It gets busy there, but that is just further proof of the delicious food that awaits. I have wanted to try this place for a few years after passing by multiple times. Firehouse has a better cheesesteak that includes a bunch of veggies. We were not impressed with the food for the price. Additionally, I was greeted at the counter from a gal with food in her mouth. Not professional and quite gross.

This is one of the true cherishable Florida family landmarks. It is a public service even that they remain there after all these years providing the quality product and service that they do. Their gyro Pita sandwiches are as good as I have had anywhere. And that is the best

Food is good, but take out order is always messed up. Its either missing basic utensils or as simple as ketchup packet. You can order a Mediterranean gyro but they will give you a plain. Not to mention place is dirty and 1 worker always looks high.

We love their gyros - even when it’s not BOGO Wednesday. Tonight we got two, and resisted the temptations (cheesecakes and cannolis). One day we’ll try other menu options. Not tonight.We did notice two cash registers - one for cash & one for both. Convenient and speedy. Also, they are no longer affiliated with pizza place next door.It wasn’t too busy tonight, especially at 5:15. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

I wanted to give Gyro King a review. We order from here on a regular basis. Everything we have ever ordered is fantastic! The pizza is the best too! So thank you guys at Gyro King for the best food and great customer service! You rock!

I loved this place. I came to Florida to see where I would be moving to. I will definitely be coming back here. I had the Gyro with seasoned fries! I also tried the canoli that was made that day!! Amazing!!!

Have ordered from here a lot and have never been disappointed. Today I ordered wings and usually have to ask for them crispy to get them right. Forgot to ask. They were cooked perfect

Went for lunch!! Very good! My gyro was packed with perfectly shaved whateverthatmeatis and had plenty of tatziki. I hate it when the meat is cut into fat clumps by some amateur. Ill add lettuce and more onions next time and try other stuff....causei liked how the chef was shaving that meat. very cool!

First time we have ordered a carry out here. Great Oven pizza! Crust is nice and thick, chewy, peppers were both green and sweet red, mushrooms and red onion were moist and tasty. Beats the major pizza companies hands down and the staff were nice and appreciative of our purchases there. Cannoli was outstanding.

Over the last 7 years Ive gotten gyros from here, not one time that I was disappointed. Always as I ordered, always fresh pita bread.... when they had bagels there for a short time, I had a custom gyro bagel made and it was amazing. I did that at home this weekend, using the meat and tzatziki sauce from Gyro King. Also, amazing people in there too!

Came back from Texas after 10 years and you guys still rock ,the food is awesome thanks.

This is some tough love here I this review. The food overall I would give a solid 3 as the cheesesteak was average and the perogies good. But I questioned even eating here due to the dirt and unclean property from pure neglect of the business. When the customer sits among unclean tables, for stains on the floor, microbial growth under counters and around no longer used dispensing equipment, I just cant advise eating at such a place. That lack of cleaning and neglect a person can only assume also flows to the food prep and kitchen areas. So thats all. Tough love in this review. I wont return to patronize again due to these unsanitary conditions.
