worst restaurant ever. would never recommend. waited 3 hours for our food and still got it cold. while there was alot of confusion and worker was on their phone. this place isnt sanitary ar all. worst experience ever.

Jerk chicken was dry. Food was slow. Service was OK. Atmosphere is nice.

The jerk pork was spicy and fatty (if that’s your thing). The festival (fried cornbreadwas amazing; as was the Escovitch Fish. The chicken was wildly moist but not very flavorful (great if you need a break from spice). Prices here are posted on the menu so there is no negotiation.

Good service, good food, its an open space so watch out for the flies.Went back a few months ago. The food was even better and the flies were no more...

I do not recommend. Never ever again. The worst service and the smallest portions you can imagine. The say you get 1/4 of chicken. Actually you get a very small leg. And shrimps... You get 8 tiny pieces you can hardly find on the plate. I couldnt believe my eyes. We had to move to another restaurant immediately to get some real lunch.

More than jerk for sure! The steamed fish was amazing! On my first visit I had jerk chicken, steam veg and festival- all were delicious, but it was I Gurley Aston’s warm festival that had me.On my second visit I chose the escovitch fish and it was outstanding. Add a glass of wine and festival to soak up the sauce…can’t explain how great that dinner was.Third visit: Jerk lobster =outstanding. Literally wrote off lobster in #Jamaica after the Rockhouse in Negril, but so #grateful I gave it a second chance. So sweet and tender!Thank you Nicole, Tika and crew.

Really amazing view of the hills and Boston village. Lovey food no more expensive than the street. Served with a choice of dressings, authentic jerk chicken, fresh steamed greens, generous portions. Highly recommend

Great ambience. Great service. The jerk chicken, roast breadfruit, jerk pork and fried green banana (lightly saltedwas really, really good. Washed down with cold Red Stripe. A good day!

The jerk, chicken the jerk pork, and the Lobster along with the side of sweet potatoes fried, festival and green plantains were delicious couldnt ask for more!!

The best place to dine in Portland. It was a wonderful location for our date night. I had the steam fish with fried plantains and it was delicious. Well worth the drive.

I tried the jerk chicken and pork which were good but the fish and lobster were even better.

Good Jerk chicken with reasonable prices and very nice staff. One of the even spoke German, which was quite impressing. Nice place to eat and have a watch on the Boston Jerk Center.

Oh my GoshWe could not have found a more perfect place to stop and eat. From the service to the environment and everything else in between.We had quarter of chicken 2x, fried bammi and drinks. The jerk chicken was made to perfection; it was hot in heat when served, seasoned to the bone, jerked the way jerk is supposed to be without smelling or tasting of the smoke.If you have never tasted bammi before, and you want to know what perfect bammi that has been soaked in milk, seasoned and fried right taste like, you need to come here.The food taste like it was a family prepared meal, tastes like home.The lady that served us was polite, patience and so friendly; this is the type of customer service that is required throughout Jamaica, and I experienced it right here in this corner of paradise.We drove past a few many places, and I am so glad that this was the spot that we stopped to eat.

Only had the roasted breadfruit but it was hot and heavenly. Not opened for breakfast...bummer😫

Food is absolutely amazing it takes a while to get ready but the wait is worthwhile unlike the other one thats directly to the left of it which has no etiquecy at all I once went there and there were flies all over my food and they touch the food with their bare hands GURLEY ASTON IS THE BEST IF U R LOOKING FOR QUALITY FOOD AT BOSTON

Lovely venue, but the service was very poor and unprofessional. The food was awful, beyond poor, cold and stale. Don’t be fooled by the fancy venue.

Poor service. First and last trip. Ordered jerk pork, got jerk head sent it back to get skin. Sent that back, waitress was threatened that if we did not pay she would have to. We paid for what we did not eat, it was not sent back either.....never again

Eat here to rid yourself of the peddlers at the other joints. I find that the jerk places in the area do their utmost best to fix your tab in their favor. Do yourself a favor and avoid them. Dining here is good. They should stop the people selling trinkets from approaching customers though.

Make sure you try the jerk lobster if you like seafood. The quality of festival is fantastic. Very well made dishes in an creatively organic setting.

Nah, chicken i had was oké little over priced. We had to wait o while before we had our food. Had 1/2 chicken (way better tastebefore for 1000 JMD, and now i got 1/4 for 500 JMD. My man had prok, which was disgusting not good! Both on thé toilet thé day after..

Amazing food. Definately the best chicken, festivals and bammy I have had so far on the island. Would definately recommend stopping off here, its completely affordable. Paid $1700JMD for festivals, bammy, 1/2 chicken and 2 red stripes, which compared to the people on the little stalls just down the road is a godsend as the smaller markets just seem to make up the prices and completely overcharge you and people from other businesses will come over whilst you are eating and try and sell you things. Whereas this place is away from the hussle and bussle which is great

Really good food. The best festivals on earth, just waiting on the food is the only drawback. Great stuff!
