This asian food taste were same as of home town, highly recommended for ones fan of Indian, Pakistani cuisine …My order were Garlic naan with chicken Masala curry and masala tea…. it was tremendous really 👍🏻👍🏻Only thing is it’s a little expensive which you can expect from this part of worldTea lovers, must try their tea ☕️

Bad experience.I have ordered a lentil soup but it was just water + very fews lentil beans... not a proper lentil soup.I cannot eat spicy food so I have ordered a "non spicy" dish as per the waiter but it was very spicy when I tasted the food. I cannot imagine what will happen if you have some allergy or a specific diet.We didnt eat and left the restaurant.It was our worst indian restaurant ever. And we been to at leat 40 in our life.

Food and service was OK. But please be careful if you dont like hot and spicy meals. Some are marked as hot, but those that are not, can still be very hot and spicy!

Tourist trap. Most of Korea’s restaurants are able to serve your food in under 15 minutes. This restaurant took an hour for our food to come and then it also came room temperature. We were craving a change in taste from Korean food which is why we chose an Indian restaurant. It was not even authentic curry. Travelers, you have been warned. Thank me later.

Found the place rather easily - just had to ask for directions to the general area to people who dont speak english.Food was tasty, smaller portions. Mutton was tender. Reasonably priced - just one waiter - but he could manage even when the place started filling up halfway through my meal. Elevator is not easy to spot - too many pictures on the door - but it is on the fifth floor, so you need it.

The information about today was that, it is open. However, when I reached at 11:30 AM, I found it closed. One staff confirmed that it is closed today. So pathetic. No one shall come and trust them.The restaurant is on the fifth floor of the building. The elevator however works till 3rd floor. After I reached 3rd floor using the elevator, the elevator door didnt even opened. I further came back to ground floor and took the stairs. The elevator condition is very poor and looked damaged from all angles. Dangerous situation.

One of the most authentic Indian and Nepalese cuisine you can come across in Seoul. After a huge disappointment in Insadong (if you know, you know), this provided a much-awaited redemption. Would absolutely come back here.

Had just arrived the day before for vacation from the U.K. . Have to say service and food were absolutely deplorable. Very few customers in. mid afternoon .. Rice for my meal came 45 minutes after ordering, then waited another 10 minutes for chicken dish . then another 20 minutes for the paratha .. would not recommend such a dingy drab looking place , Avoid ..

Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for halal/ Indian cuisine. The food tasted really good - We ordered the butter naan & lunch set (naan + chicken + rice + vegetables + curry). The lunch set is available from 11am-1pm. This place is a 3 minute walk from Myeongdong Tourist Information Center (which is another must visit place to ease your travel).

A bit hidden place but worth the visit! The best food I had in my 3 weeks in Korea.

You should definately try the food here at Gurkha Restaurant. The food taste is good. The service is the best. The way the staff speaks and treats the customers is the best.

We tried chicken biryani, chicken tawa curry, garlic naan and chai..All dishes were very good n taste is awesome...especially chicken biryani n chai...Go n try out some authentic Indian dishes in Seoul...highly recommended 😋 👌

Save yourself the trouble. The restaurant is on fifth floor with a huge set of small steps. Lift doesn’t work. And what’s worse the restaurant is closed on weekday 8pm. No sign and gives an impression is still openThe place is shut down. Save your legs

Funny to say that this was one of my best meals in Seoul. Authentic Indian food at a strange location that was hard to get to as the lift did not stop at the correct level and we had to climb the stairs. Waited quite long for the food but worth it.

If you want to eat quality indian food, don’t eat it in South Korea, because there are no good indian restaurants. It seems that the tandoori chicken comes from the microwave, the chicken biryani had a very weird taste and the garlic naan was very dry. I don’t recommend to eat here. Restaurants should invest in the quality of their food, it is a waste that this restaurant not do that.

Enjoyed the food, especially how they cater for vegans too. Food was great! We ordered Vegetable Chow mien, Potato samosas, shrimp curry and garlic naan. It was pretty easy to find in Myeongdeong

Not that impressive. Food was just okay but nothing spectacular. The nan was doughy and felt undercooked. And there was a bug that kept floating around our table. I’d skip in the future

They have cozy place and the food was delicious. They have prayer room so moslem tourist shouldnt worry to do prayer when having lunch/dinner at the restaurant.

It was so nice to get out of the chaos of the main shopping street! So much more peaceful in here. Staff were friendly and efficient. The curry was really nice, good portion sizes. Great naan! Fries were pretty good too. Overall, a really good lunch.

Came around 5pm on a Friday, only ones in the restaurant but it was early! Waiter was very nice and so was the restaurant. Food was good! We had a variation of butter chicken with the garlic naan which was great. The momos came out after we were done with the curry, so we got a little full but were also tasty! No, its not a paid review as theyre offering drinks for reviewing at Google. The restaurant is really a good one Indian style Nepalese Restaurant. Its a Halal restaurant and serve for vegetarian also. And of course they serve delicious Nepali thali. I would also like to recommend to taste their masala tea. The price is pretty much reasonable if you consider other Indian restaurants in Seoul. Lastly, they have prayers room for Muslims..!

I’m been here many times, during my South Korea trip, Fantastic place to eat Indian food, the food is so delicious, reasonable price, the staff is so polite, the food is halal, and there is also place for prayer, and the restaurant is located in the prime location, close to the Myeong-dong subway station.

Ive been to so many Indian restaurants in Seoul and this one is the best so far. My Indian colleague introduced here to me saying it serves really good food at reasonable prices. It is true and food here tastes so much better than some famous & expensive Indian food franchises of Korea. The owner who can speak both in Hindi and Korean is really humble and friendly. He cares his customers so much and serves both sticky rice and Indian rice for people with different preferences. I love lunch menu here which comes with a good amount of curry, nan, salad, and rice. Colorful interior of the restaurant provides cheerful atmosphere.

A very good and nice place to have food with your family, environment is good, behavior also fantastic. Another note, it is a Halal restaurant, so muslim people can eat here without any hesitation.

A wide variety of Indian menu is available. The taste is authentic Indian. The ambience is cosy, and they mostly play songs from Hindi movies. Enjoyed the food. Communication is comfortable, as the staff is conversant with English as well.A must visit, when you are in the vicinity.

The curry dishes were amazing with just the right amount of flavour to keep you wanting more without overpowering the senses. The garlic naan also deserves a special mention for having a lovely flavour without being greasy.

A decent restaurant near the Myeong dong area, located on 4th floor. The interior and food is okay. They could actually improve upon the taste but they have a prayer area which is wonderful

It is my friend and my favorite restaurant.It is a good-sized restaurant that can be easily found in the center of Myeong-dong. Fear of taste disappears all at the moment of eating the first dish of set menu. Curry, Tandoori chicken and Nan, Sizzler all fit well into our mouths. recommendation!

After shopping many things for skin care and make up, it is better to visit this place in the center of Myeong Do street. It is Halal.The foods are delicious. Also, the place is cozy. It would be nice if you come here.

Great food with cozy ambience. Located right in the middle of Myeongdong shopping area. The food was pretty tasty and had a very good portion. The prices are not cheap but not costly either. Overall a pretty good place for Indian food.
