Gurdulù in Florence

Interesting menu, very enjoyable dishes (creative, but straightforward rather than showy), good service - I recommend Gurdulù strongly, as quality dining, reasonably priced and much better value than many run-of-the-mill restaurants in Firenze.

The food was absolutely divine (the gnocchi with oysters were to die forand the staff was very friendly. A great little gem !

Had a great experience here. Food and service was amazing, the risotto and ravioli were sooo flavoursome, it was delicious.

Nice atmosphere to sit outside (besides the mosquitos), good choice and variety of food. Wine knowledge, but could have a bit more vegetarian main dish options

Great restaurante! The staff is super friendly, professional and pays a lot of attention. We got a great wine matching very good with the food. We tried the five course degustazione menu and every course was super delicious.We will definitely come back!

I don’t know how this place doesn’t have 5 stars! The food here is beyond delicious, as well as the wine! I chose the beef pappardelle, which was not what I expected it to be. It was more of a thin ravioli filled with beef and a cream sauce around it. It was impeccable. My husband chose the roasted pine nut spaghetti and duck for an entree. Everything had such unique flavor and was so tasty! I highly recommend trying this place when in Florence.

Don’t go here - just don’t do it to yourself. In response to below, I did eat there and the food is mediocre, the wine list not great and overpriced, the service a mess. Really nice courtyard though.

I have very mixed feeling about my experience at Gurdulu.Tragic service - we were one minute away from walking away ( after sitting at the table for 20 min and no attention from the staffand it explains why the tablenext to us walked away. Getting plates was also a challenge. No balsamic at all.FOOD - it is an interesting take on some classic dishes, good, but not mind blowing.All in all - glad we had an experience but I wouldnt come back.

If youre after something slightly different from the more traditional restaurants in Florence, then add Gurdulu into your check list. Interesting, delicious combinations. Modern decor and friendly service.

Very specialized and artistic preparation take on Italian food. I had a great time with some smashing food and wine. The vibe is very cozy, the prices a little high than your average restaurants in Florence and the dessert could have been better.I had Gnudi (ricotta, spinach, mullet and saffronwhich was the most unique form of pasta I had while in Italy, along with Mallard duck and chocolate cake. If youre into gourmet italian thats not as pricey as Michelin star restaurants, give Gurdulu a shot!

Fantastic, selezione formaggi misti and pâté en croûte, Id suggest cut down on the salty sauce in this dish as the pâté tastes delicious! Again, amazing formaggi.

The garden they have is perfect for a romantic dinner. Service is unbeatable. The food is phenomenal.

Cristina was a great host. Our accommodation told us to come here and we enjoyed multiple delicious cocktails and some yummy starters. We didn’t actually eat dinner here though.

Great place in the heart of Florence. Hidden gem, very elegant and friendly, with an internal outdoor patio. We had a delightful lunch with a first course, glass of wine, dessert and coffee for 25 euro. Best (qualityvalue for your money.

Excellent unique menu for those who like something out of the ordinary. Exceptional service, not at all afraid to provide advice on wine we were unfamiliar with and also guide us away from a couple of our initial choices that might not have been optimal for our tastes. Wonderful table outside in the garden. The Chef is extraordinary with inspired creations and unusual combinations that all worked excellently together - experimental but really successful. An innovative take on traditional Italian - the risotto in particular was extraordinary with many layers of carefully constructed flavours. The sea bass was wonderful, cooked to perfection with unforgettable accompaniments. Really a meal to remember, highly recommended. Excellent value too! We will certainly visit again next time we are in Florence, and it is sure to be a highlight of our stay once again.

Very unique menu with traditional ingredients and dishes in a special way. The decor is simple and very cosy and hygge. Great for drinks or dinner. The wait staff is very friendly, helpful and fun!
