Venue for 2-13-year-olds with family rides, attractions, shows, indoor play, water games plus diner.
Great day out for young kids. Get there early so you can do everything! We bought tickets on the door. Traffic took a while to get into the car park, and there was a queue on foot to enter but that queue moved very quickly.
Mmmm everything was looking old, The colours was faded on the funfairs. If is not halloween decorations around would be looking dry thats my opinion. My mates were mentioning that is exactly the same then 30 years ago when they used to visit as a kids.
Had a great family day out, with different themed zones within the park the children found it enjoyable and easy to migrate around to the different rides. Wait times were low and the facilities well attended. It was good to see seasonal Halloween decorations around, including the spooky haunted house, within which that staff did excellent to enhance the experience. Would highly recommend for a good few hours out and about, some areas could do with a refresh/refurb but overall most rides were open and accessible
Great family day out. Provide NHS discount so for a family of 4 it cost £27. The park is separated into different themes. Safari, Dino etc. each area has themed rides. Great for young kids but I’d guess kids over 12years old May be a bit bored. Simple food areas with coffe stalls etc. Over all the park rides could do with a revamp. Cheap day out with the kids it’s worth it.
Stayed in the hotel. Really large rooms and fun themed. Recommend you experience it at least once with the kids.
Was a good day out with the kids. Has a car park close to the entrance.Ticket prices was not too bad. Not great for older children but is good for young children under 10 years old. There was a fair few places to sit down and eat with shops nearby that sold hot dogs and drinks. The food and drinks was a bit pricey tho.The staff was polite and pleasant, they was very strict with childrens hight restrictions on ride but I suppose they have to be strict as it is safety. The ques for the rides was not too bad, the river rapids was a good ride but does get you wet.Nice family day out if you are local to the area, so would recommend. The toilets was not great as they hadnt been cleaned for a while and had no toilet roll.We went for the Halloween event but it didnt have much to do with Halloween, a few statues but we didnt see any characters walking around which would of been good.We seen the 4:30pm leaving show which was a nice touch and gave us a chance to sit down for a bit. They have a mouse character and another character with a pumpkin for a head, the kids enjoyed it while the characters did a song and dance.
Good family day out. Suitable from smaller and bigger kids, will say best suitable age 5-12 years. They also hiring push trolleys for £5, ideal to rent one if little ones not using push chairs any more but too tired for long day. Rides usually from couple minutes upto 15 min, not too overcrowded.
We attended a SEN day, which was arranged by a charity, the park, the staff were fantastic, so nice to have a day out without the looks, the stares and the snidy comments, that you get with a disabled child.A great day...
Its good but I dont like because of heavy traffic. All the rides with long q of minimum 1 hour. If you took one day pass on holiday you can access on 6-7 rides. But enough free parking space. But better to bring food and water. Also start from 10.30am then only you can get maximum time there. I booked online. But you can get ticket from onsite counters.
We have been a few times. Its a good park for the younger kids.JUST BE WARNED! The car park is free. No security and No cameras. This happened when I took my Son over the school holidays. Your vehicle WILL get broken into. This has happened once to me and I have known it has happened to a number of other people as well. Just Bare This In Mind when you go!
A quick nostalgic visit as I last visited the place some 30 odd years ago as a small child, and the school coach left me there, as I had ran off to the toilet as it was leaving lol. I still remember it as it was all those years ago.
I’ve paid £56 for myself and my 3 years old girl which is quite expensive as she can’t use most of the rides literally it’s more suitable for 7-8 years old and above . Despite we went the weekdays but there was a long queue and we have had to line up at list 30-45 min for each ride . The food was super expensive and not good quality, it’s better to pack your lunch and snack from outside of area. At the entrance you can scan QR code to download the map , my sim operates is 3 and I didn’t have network at all in every single point to do that .
This place is a real real shame... it has soooo much potential but the owners simply arent investing in their business. It is run down to the point of it being a health and safety hazardLots of the rides were closedThe rides that were open were dated and dirtySome of the rides didnt open until 11.30am Despite the park opening at 10.30amSeveral rides were closed early or never opened at all during our visit. The eating areas are disgusting with no one clearing up or cleaning the tables etc. We are only just out of a pandemic so cleanliness should be on everyones minds. The staff are really friendly, however, even their uniforms need updating and replacing. They are faded and dirty. Not good Gullivers. Time to shut shop and spend some money on this place or people will stop visiting
Please do book in advance along with hotel. 1 day is not enough to cover all of it due to waiting queues for rides. When you book hetel you get breakfast and dinner included. Personal recommendation advance booking.
Great place for kids although the hygiene in park toilets needs sorting as they stink. Also why would you put windows on toilet cubicles that canbe seen from the outside??? Some not pretty sights ...
A great place for young children. A thrme park designed entirely for 4 to 11 year old. Younger children will enjoy the park but under 90cm tall will not be allowed on rides. Plenty of small childrens rides and 3 bigger rides: roller coaster, log flume & swing boats. Food outlets on site. Plenty of seating for your picnic. To be honest the park is tired and deserves a spruce up but provides what it intends to do. COSTA coffee shop very, very slow. Waited 15 mins for my one coffee!
There were 14 of us in our group a mix of parents, kids, teenagers, special needs and pensioners. Although its great for kids under 10 I wouldnt say 13 year olds will enjoy it. Only half decent rides for older kids were Antelope and Apache Falls and the queues were 40 plus minutes at times, way too long for a theme park aimed at kids. Plus the rides ended quick and the Antelope was very bumpy. We didnt take packed lunch as thought wed treat the kids, 3 big fish and chips (fish was a small size and one mini fish meal was £32!We had fun and kids were tired at the end of the day, maybe because of playing, walking or waiting for rides either way probably wouldnt go again but was an okay day out. All the kids gave it a 5 out of 10.
Great theme park for children between 2 and 12 years especially younger kids. Great rides but also loads of outside play areas and inside soft play if weather not brilliant. We took 2 and 4 year old grandchildren and they loved it that much, that we went back for a second time. Would have liked the park to be opened longer than 5pm that is my only criticism as we enjoyed it so much. We took our own picnic and plenty of places to sit and eat. All in all a wonderful day out. Would recommend to family and friends.
Brilliant theme park for children . My daughter is 4 years old and she could get on everything bar 2 rides she loved it . The shows was very good altho my daughter cried at the big bad raven 🤣 she doesnt wish to watch her again for locking gill up but will be re visiting before going back to school
We visited the theme park and stayed over also. We had a great time.I will do review the theme park 1st...Theme ParkPro - rides for little ones as young as 2, not to big to walk aroundHas rides that are okay for up to 12/13Yr old too. Good fun. Plenty of places to sit if you wanted to take food with you, Free parking. Reasonable quing times.Con- food is awful, clealiness needs looking too, toilets are filthy and stink!Slush bottles, state they are £5 refillable (forgot to tell me it cost £2 for every additional refill, heads up for parents)Water is £2.50 a bottle, which is crazy! So the rides are for younger children, however its not pram friendly, you have to abandon the pram on everyride? Seems abit strange, because then you have to unload any valuables to take on rides with you, and then just hope no one takes the pram...AccommodationPro - great lodge/caravan, clean, new, modern and very comfortable, looked lovely and didnt disappoint. The food in the hotel was okay... limited menu (I would say on par with spoonsnot the worst food, but not the best, okay for the price.Con - the ordering system was bizarre, 3 people stood behind the counter, but only one could check in, only one could take food order and only one could serve alcohol? Just seemed bizarre and time consuming as you was going back and forth to different staff for different things (made no sense)BOTH - some staff, really nice couldnt do enough, and some didnt speak at all, lucky if you got a grunt or eye contact (customer service needs looking at)Food and hygiene in the main hotel and theme park need some serious looking at...
Had.a lovely family day out, booked online If you book a few days before it will cost £22 per adult and child but we booked day before and it cost £28 each, however I got a discount for 2 tickets using my blue light card which where £15 each. Fair has improved alot since I last visited and queues where not bad considering its the summer holidays, If you need to go out to your car they will stamp your hand so you can return easily. We took a picnic and there was loads of places to sit and have a restm we also saw a heron on the lake so lots of nice wild life too.Parking was also easy, will be returning
Cheaper to purchase tickets 2 days in advance. Youre allowed to go to your car and get your picnic stuff they stamp your hand, which is great. Yes its abit tired and dated in places but look beyond that and its a fun day out. The kids really enjoyed themselves. Some of the queues for the biggest rides like the antelope rollercoaster and Apache falls can be 45mins to an hour but are worth it. You get really wet on Apache falls which was fine as the weather was hot for us we soon dried off. Other smaller rides only 10 mins. Lots of playground areas and rides for younger ones. A good family day out.
Visited 6th august with my 15 month old son. Knowing full well he wouldn’t be able to go on everything abut also knowing there was a vast selection of attractions he could go on for his first visit to a theme park. The park is very traditional. And old style theme park with old style rides, there are newer areas in the park but the vast majority hasn’t changed in over 2 decades. Which is absolutely not to its detriment. It’s lovely to roam around the park and hear children playing, laughing and having fun on these older style attractions that don’t need the latest technology to be fun. There’s something really nice about getting in your teacup that’s on a wooden platform and spinning it as much as you dare with a small child on you me knee. The ride selection for my son was impressive to say the least. Even more so that there wasn’t actually enough time in the day to do all the attractions he is able to ride, so we will absolutely be returning to do the other half of the park and most likely many times over until he ‘graduates’ from this style of park to a more modern style of park such as Alton Towers or Thorpe Park. The ride staff are all a pleasure to deal with and all give parents the instructions they need to ride safely especially with very small children and the attractions themselves are very clearly marked in terms of what children can and cannot go on for safety reasons. Essentially as long as your child can sit on their own then you’re good for a lot of the smaller attractions. Obviously you can hold the child in place in whichever way is comfortable. For me that was arm round his shoulders and hugging him into me (I’m a larger guy so a lot of the restraints fitted me but left him basically free to move if I wasn’t pinning him to my side)Food options are limited. And the location we chose to eat (more my own fault rather than the parks but I digresswas cramped and the food wasn’t amazing but it was serviceable, prices are theme park normal however the size difference between a child’s meal and an adult is the amount of main item. A child’s sausage and chips and an adults sausage and chips has the same amount of chips but adults have another sausage the price difference however suggests that a sausage costs around £3, pizzas are much more reasonably priced and we probably should have walked the 2 minutes to that location which was much more open with outdoor seating. The park itself is clean and tidy staff are always around cleaning or tidying some aspect of the park which is great to see. They clearly take great pride in their workplace which is awesome. We will absolutely be visiting again. Loved the day, loved the park, all things considered a very inexpensive day. But you can’t really put a price on the memories with your kids.
Amazing value, entertainment staff and perfect for small children up to teenage. We looked at the reviews and I’m unsure how they have a negative review. With the cost of the room you get free entry to park, there’s woodland walks, free entrainment on a night for children and free meal for the family. We will be back again soon. As a family ours the best place we have stayed in the U.K. highly recommend by our family. Water ride was the best for us.
Took 3 Grandchildren (9, 7 and 3and had a lovely day. Very busy but most queues were reasonable. The bigger water rides were extremely busy and you need to have children who are patient in waiting!!Very clean and all staff very friendly and helpful. Very strict on height allowance which is fair for health and safety 👍Only 2 show times available which means you are quite restricted, especially if you find yourself on other side of park.Be aware lots of wasps 🐝🙉All in all, brilliant day had by all 😁
Just had several days here in the hotel, staff are friendly and amazing although in not sie if they all looked young but that could be because in getting old ha ha, hotels a bit noisy on a night with kids running around and parents enjoying themselves but that calmed after midnight, theme parks awesome and the rides are great, my lads 7 and really enjoyed himself. Its not the Ritz and the foods not Ramsey standard but I would stay again.
Took our two-year-old son, who has just hit 90cm, and he had a great time! Park is excellent for kids, there were no particularly long waits (longest by far was probably 15 minutes), most rides were walk-on, so no queue. Only thing that could use some work are the toilets - getting a bit smelly through years of use.
Some of the rides look a bit tired, need a bit of TLC especially the lost world. Overall really good value for money and not too busy. We had a great day and would come back again. Update: Went back again in March, much more open now and very busy. Dont understand why you open the park at ten and then we all have to congregate around the entrance until you acually let us into the park around 10:25? Food prices and ice cream prices are very high, surely you would sell more if you dropped the prices? Nice to be back without all the restrictions
Weve spent the most fantastic time there today!! Kids loved every minute of it, rides were to different taste, not bad queueing, altho 5 hours arent enough to try them all with the queues😁still fun place to spend the day at, kids enjoyed themselves at Girlie Mouse at the "see you soon" show!
Brilliant time had by all xx my little boy loved it .staff were really lovely and polite 😊. Especially the team member with the dino trail beard glasses hes amazing 👏
Very lovely place for a small adventure vith kids 🥰 need to be renewal in some places, but in general it very nice. Prepare to get wet on Apache Falls 🙈🙃
Fantastic place for the kids big group of us went . zero waiting time to get in not long waiting to go on rides like alot of theme parks . All ages covered for rides . Food is good and great value for money . Some bits are dated but what more could you want from a fab day out .. kids had a amazing time .. and thats what counts .
The price to enter has gone up dramatically from a couple of years ago and there is no price difference from adult or children tickets. You can book concession tickets for certain people, and you will have to prove it at the gate to enter. This is a theme park more oriented towards younger children so therefore much better than the big popular and more expensive theme parks but there is a handful of rides for elder children too.Even if you don’t sit on rides you still have to pay full price to enter. The popular rides take a long time to get on especially if you go on a bank holiday like we did. There are decent places to eat too and plenty of free parking. The park is clean and so are the toilet facilities.A few of the rides are very similar but younger children won’t mind.
Visited as a family of 5. First off I want to say their concessions policy is extremely generous. Each concession ID is valid for 2 tickets. So 2 blue light card holders and a child receiving DLA can essentially purchase 6 tickets at concession rate.It went downhill from there though. The park is dated and in need of a refurb. There are sections where the wooden structures are actually rotten and multiple areas of stagnant looking pond water that smell. Multiple items/areas were closed during our visit on a peak bank holiday weekend. The park map is available by scanning a QR code but if like my family you are on EE you have zero signal in most of the park so can’t actually load the map. Can’t say if any other network is better, but this may be a consideration if visiting in a larger/split party as you will struggle to contact them. The food prices are astronomical. £11 for a pre made, reheated pizza. 2 pizzas, 2 hot dogs, 2 fountain drinks and 2 bottles of water didn’t give much change from £60. I asked in two food outlets if they could fill my own bottle up with tap water and I was told no in both and that I had to buy bottled water (£3 for 500ml).They quote short queues in their website even at peak times. This was hit and miss. Some rides had zero wait, others had 40-45 minutes. 3 times we joined a queue to find out part way through the queue that the ride had broken down and so we had to leave the queue. Another ride broke down whilst we were on it. As others have said the ride operators look bored. They were polite and helpful on the occasions we asked them something but 99% of the time they were staring into space. There’s an exception here with the rapids operator who was making conversation with the queue and engaging with the children.Pro’sA toilet is never far away.Lots of mini play areas spread out round to park to break up the queuing.Plenty of seating.Generous concession policy.Rentable buggies.Priority access system available from guest services for visitors that can’t queue (disabled, special educational needs etc).Con’sDated and in need of refurb.Frequent breakdowns.Expensive food and a refusal to provide tap water.Limited mobile signal (for park map).Bored/disinterested staff.
Its good for family, adults and children can enjoy. There was 2-4 rides for who is looking for something higher level or scary rides however that also not too scary. Good for a one day trip. Need extra pair of clothes as we will get wet in some rides.
Had a fantastic 2 days on the park. Lots of rides mainly for kids. My little girl was 3 and got on majority of rides no prob. 90 cm tall and then lots of rides open if you ride with an adult. There is 4 or 5 bigger rides nothing flashy but caters for many ages. Plenty of food outlets and toilets dotted around. Not a massive place but good value for money would 100% go again especially with the hotel stay. Queues on the weekend were OK some longer waits some shorter depending on popularity but no more than about 45 mins.
From the mixed reviews i was dubious to what our day out would be like but the kids had a good time. It was classed as low season so Id hate to visit when its busier because there would be meltdowns left right and centre as the ques were already long (over 1 hour we waited for one of them!. We arrived at 10.30 and got into the park at 10.45 left at 4.45 and id say we managed to do about 60% of the rides and none of the play grounds as there was no time due to the ques so im glad we didnt pay full price (ques could of been reduced if they actually filled the ride every time and there wasnt 3 adults to one kid🙄). There are plenty of picnic areas and some of them are sheltered too incase of rain. My daughter had quite a nasty accident but couldnt find a staff member anywhere thankfully a member of the public had extra supplies to top up my own.
We all love Gullivers so much!! There are toilets EVERYWHERE which is a godsend with small children. The staff are all amazing and friendly and work their socks off. We had luch in the Gullys Grill which does the BEST CHIPS EVER. The tables in there are kept clean, even though you should bin your own rubbish there are inevitably dirty people who just walk off, but the staff were on it. The rides are a good mix for the ages and there are parks near all the rides so the little ones dont get bored waiting. Its amazing.
Wed not visited for years as wed found it very run down previously. It hasnt changed. There is so much that could be improved with a cost of paint or a bit of care but this doesnt seem to have been done. If be surprised if theyve done any maintenance during the closed season. That said staff were really friendly and ride queries were short. Definitely not a full day out, but ok for a few hours.Dont think well return.
Its looking old and dated, queuing is a problem for rides as staff work painfully slow... The same problem exists when ordering food and drinks. A little illumination would brighten things up for minimal cost. The hotel and lodges are nice. Santas grotto and train ride was excellent, the grotto was very magical.
A fun day out for families with young children. Plenty of fun, small rides for younger children but the place has seen better times. Some of the zones are very well themed (piratessome have very mixed quality (dinosaurs).Everything seemed safe enough and the staff were diligent in their checking of ride harnesses but some of the models made me and my children sad :-( see attached pic. Regardless of adult cynicism the kids (4 &6had a great day out.
It’s ok for what it is. Park is marketed for up to 13 yo but there are few rides here that would impress a young teen imo, so that may be pushing it a tad maybe. If you’ve got younger ones though, they won’t pick up on some of the things you might - eg the park is looking a little tired in places etc. However, don’t be put off by that as it’s not the most important thing to kids - there is enough here ride wise to keep young kids happy for a few hours. A negative was that I couldn’t see any Wasp traps on the park & there were two Wasp nests at the bottom of the Togo Tower water slide close to the exit path still active in October. Can’t comment on the quality of food here, we took a picnic ;)
Absolutely fab day out for kids. There’s loads to do and the price is great. We. Got caught in the rain but managed to get some rain ponchos. Food isn’t bad for what it is and the prices are reasonable. We visit atleast 2-3 per year, it’s really good over Xmas time to see Santa. Map is easy to read that you can get on entry to navigate around the park. The indoor shows are great, loads of parking too
Fantastic day out, even in the rain. Lots of places to eat, all under cover too. Lots of coffee places for a coffee mad dad.Great picnic areas. Prices are reasonable inside and lots and lots of rides for the kids. Suitable for 1m tall kids, baby’s have a few things to do.Overall great family day out.
We took our Grand daughter here for a day out !! Theres plenty to see and do. We went on lots of of the age appropriate rides but remember kids are impatient and queues are the main feature!! Take plenty to drink and make a packed lunch. Although you can buy food and drink here the queues can be an hour long and work out very expensive!!Umbrella/Cagoule too!!We shall be back!! But better prepared next time!!!
We had a good day, but our 6 and 8 year old are starting to outgrow this level of theme park. If you want to get on the bigger rides I would prioritse getting there as early as you can and getting on your favourite first to ensure you get on them as the queues can be long. We had fun and the kids did mention some things could be updated but generally a good day out.
Nice rides, not too much walking- compact in comparison to larger parks. Celebrated our little ones birthday with candles, cake and balloons. Very crowded because of schools holidays- Apache Falls had a waiting of more than an hour- all rides are free once you enter. No social distancing or masks but that is what it is now.Park is pretty amusing specially for little ones- loads of play areas, and cafes. And nice variety too of rides and amusement. They close ride entries at 5 - kinda a bummer after 10:30 or for some places 11:30 opening and loads of waiting for some rides. Can do better with some sort of system- tokens work well at other smaller festivals.Didnt try any food because of bad reviews- packed our picnic. Slush was great and can be refilled at 2£ each.We loved Apache Falls, Togo Tower, Train, Fire Engines and Vet Cars. Couldnt do some rides due to height restrictions- next time. Moving dinosaurs were a nice surprise due to their number, sizes and variety.
Most of the rides were closed when we went. None of the food facilities were open and the place was absolutely filthy. When i asked a manager about this i was told because they wasnt that busy so they shut most of it, but still you pay full price for something that isnt as advertised. Also a lot of queue jumping by adults and the staff didnt say a thing even though i kept bringing it up. The rides we did go on were all damaged and one we was told we couldnt shoot water as its broke, so again another waste of time. The whole park is run by children that just have no idea of making that day special for the kids. We wondered around for an hour trying to find some food as everywhere was shut. Absolutely horrible experience here its more like a public park than a fair and isnt what they advertise and you pay the price for. Will not be returning waste of time and money this place and is driven by profits with no customer service what so ever.
What a lovely place. My 8 yr old loved it. He loved the roller coaster and the Apache falls. We loved the little shows that were on . Loved getting slush and refills especially in the hot weather. Lots of shade in the park so it was a nice mixture of weather. We used the burger place near the roller coaster , service was very slow and it was red hot inside in the queue so wasnt ideal. We would defo visit the park again.
*Fantastic for young kids, if your kid is 110cm, you can pretty much ride everything accompanied by adult*We went here for a 2 night stay at the hotel with tickets to the park. The park is good around 26 rides perfect for young kids! Can get very busy and queues can take a while.Reason for 2 stars is the 1 hour wait we had for food at the park. Everyone was seething! None of the people preparing food wore masks bar a couple (see pics). Then when I was served in front of my face the lad washed a dirty tray in the sink with a dirty dish cloth with dirty water and then didnt even wipe it and started to try put my food on it!!!!Obviously I asked for a proper cleaned tray and he sighed said its hot and then someone cleaned one properly for me.The prices are pretty hefty also, but thats expected.Good rides... kids running the whole park so a lot of iffy customer service... but not all.were bad tbh.
