Their food is delicious. However I would of gave 5🌟s if they made oyster po boys but they said they dont make oyster nor shrimp po boys 😤

Ordered the catfish basket which comes with one side added a drink and it was $16 total. The fish was very good and the sweet tea was good too. The people that work there are nice. Its a cute little place.

The food was ok this time. Last time we went it was great( thats why I gave a 4 instead of 3). The fried shrimp this time was overdone and slightly rubbery. The fried fish was good- I had the grouper. Prices are decent. I will say the runners throughout the restaurant were extra sticky and maybe they need new rugs. (Also, the lady working the dining room was not very nice and seemed bossy and kinda rude. Last time we didnt have that issue either).

And my boss went in there he got us both a basket of mullet it was more than I could eat and it was good I will definitely go back Ive seen the place for many years never went in there very friendly people too

My husband & I were visiting the area from Myrtle Beach, SC and wanted some seafood we’ve decided to try this restaurant and was very pleased with our service and food. The food was delicious.

Good seafood, not much selection. Makes it easy to pick what you want though.

Best Hush Puppies and Cole Slaw PERIOD..... Shrimp was great, the gumbo a tad too spicy.

Fresh and scrumptious! Super fast and friendly service! Generous servings, more than I could eat. Restaurant filled to capacity on a week night with locals, all so friendly. We will be back! Oh, and get the gumbo; its the best Ive ever eaten. Get the bread pudding too...perfect taste and texture.

Excellent food, staff with a hometown locals hangout vibe. Loved it. Able to eat a great lunch while waiting on market to steam some royal reds for dinner.

Run of the mill frozen fries, real sweet cole slaw, in 1 thang of slaw seems like they dumped a pound of sugar, prices went up not the same online, they dont do po boys. Paid 14$ for 6 shrimp bad slaw. Sweet counter girl though. Blackened grouper was bland as ever, very over priced! Yet Im greatful for food some folks dont have food.

Really great tasting food and a healthy portion. Please go eat there in case you wanted it great seafood restaurant. A Patti family gem.

We have lived in Beulah for 3 years and just now tried it.. we have missed out! It’s so good! Brought the family and they all loved it too! Don’t forget the banana. Pudding!

The food is always fresh and taste very good. Staff are professional and courteous. Wait times are short compared to a lot of restaurants in the area.

My husband and I enjoyed our food. My fried okra was slightly overcooked, my baked beans came out cold but I had them heat them up. Catfish was really good and seasoned well. Overall good food. I recommend.

(three years ago according to Google mapswe had a disappointing meal here and I wrote the following review. My wife and I both had the Trigger platter, mine blackened and my wife fried. The fish must have been old as it was dry and tuff. So much so that I had to use a knife to cut the filets into bite size pieces.Today 05/24/2022, although this is not the first time we have been back since the info above was posted 3 years ago, but the results were the same for me. Dry Grouper platter. Wife had the mullet and it was great. I should have stuck with first choice of steamed shrimp but I chose to go with my favorite. Bad choice.

Limited number of selections on the market side. Much of it not super fresh. No oysters on half shell. Staff was friendly. The grouper we purchased was fresh and delicious. We did not visit the restaurant side.Will likely be backUrban CowgillMay 2022

My boyfriend and I came to this market as a second choice, from the jump the inside was very dingy and honestly none of the product seemed fresh. We still wanted to give it a shot after my boyfriend saw they had speckled trout and so we paid for a few pounds. Opening the bag up at home it smelled extremely fishy to the point it filled up our kitchen, we decided to still give it a shot and what was created was a stink bomb, not fried fish. We’re still dealing with the smell days later. We could’ve gotten better quality fish at a chain supermarket. 0/10.

Used to eat here all the time and food was great! Got lunch to go for me and my boss couple days ago and everything was over fried or double fried.. if I didnt eat here often before I wouldnt come back! Hopefully they just had an off day at work or maybe oil needs to be changed in fryers.. I may try again and hopefully goes back to a 5 star eats but hard to say after this let down

If you have not eaten here you are really missing out. This is one of the best kept secrets in Pensacola. This is a proud to be called Christian business who needs to be supported. They even have a book you can write prayer requests in. Excellent food, excellent service. The banana pudding is out of this world! 5 stars +

Love this place. The fried shrimp, catfish and hush puppies are great. They can get busy around peak hours... So be mindful of that. Theres also continuous road construction in the vicinity, which can make ingress/egress problematic at times.----------Update 03/17/22. Arrived at approximately 1225 on a Thursday for a takeout order... Right in the midst of the lunch crowd. Service was good and prompt. Wait was not bad - received food within 10 minutes. Food was typical Gulf Coast fried staples. Ill continue to visit every time Im in town.

Really enjoyed the food here. Tasted fresh and service was excellent. Wife and I got blackend shrimp and son got popcorn shrimp. All loved it. Plenty of food and reasonable pricing.

This is THE best seafood in Pensacola!! If your looking for great seafood with a great price, look no further. This restaurant is a hidden treasure in Pensacola. It might not be close to the water. However the seafood just come out of the water. Many times I split plates because they give you so much food. The gumbo has it all with the meat to prove it. You will feel right at home with the service. They treat you like family! Wish we had more places like this in Pensacola! This is a must try if you ever visit the coast! Trust me you will not regret it. If your looking for several choices in fish, shrimp, or just options in general look no further!!!

Went here a couple of days before Christmas, and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Went with some locals who hadnt been there - and they live close to it too! Tried the catfish, grouper, and mullet - all were awesome! Fried okra and hush puppies were good too, but the star was the gumbo. I want to buy a gallon of it to take home and freeze some for later! The calamari was in small pieces and not what Im used to, but except for that, this is a great place for fresh fish and cheese grits that will satisfy your hunger. Fast service too, with a very friendly staff. Will eat there again for sure.

Completely Disappointed..After traveling an hour to this restaurant, Upon arriving home we discovered our order was completely substituted. Both plates had some type of white fish that could not be mistaken for what we ordered. After speaking to manager. And listening to him complain about past customers complains.. We’ve decided not to patronize this restaurant or their family of businesses in Pensacola. Advice..!check your order prior to leaving this place.

Simple atmosphere, nice staff, fantastic seafood, the fried okra was crunchy and yummy, so was the hushpuppy (only 1 ☹)! Cant wait to go back!(Pictures were taken after we had already dug in 😋)

Nice setup but the customer service was horrible. I ordered the grouper basket fried and when the grouper came out it was over cooked. I informed the server and she just walked back into the kitchen. After 20 minutes and no response from staff, I went back to front where I placed the order and asked them what I needed to do with the over cooked fish. Cashier responded and said I dont know.

Ordered a to-go dinner from this place for the first time last night..... AMAZING!.... Great food, very friendly service and VERY large portions of food. We will DEFINITELY be back. Thank you

I got the crab cakes (they were two massive portions), with hush puppies and fries. Was super busy but efficient, and the staff even handed out free banana pudding because the restaurant was closing soon. That was a nice treat. 10/10 would recommend.

WOW! The food here was so delicious I cannot describe it. Huge boiled shrimp, as fresh as they come. Fresh salmon, a piece about 10 in long and probably weighing about a pound, was $16.99 and it came with two sides plus hush puppies. The hush puppies were the best Ive had since my grandmother died. And the fried okra!!! It was fresh!!! Ive never found that in a restaurant before. We went back. Over and over.

The quality and quantity were very good for a modest price. I would recommend it to everyone, but especially those travelers like myself looking to enjoy good seafood but not break the bank.

Fried grouper was perfect big golden nuggets. The service was very helpful with me as it was my first time. The decor was cute and nautical. Prices are fair and the food was on point. Highly recommend dinning here.

Great experience here. The food was fresh and hot and didnt take very long to be served. The staff was very friendly. I also loved their cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. The fried shrimp was so delicious!

Food tastes decent. My lil issue was the amount of food. Below is a picture of the calamari I bought, I think for $9? Which is really disappointing. Typically where calamari is served, it comes out in a big ball, here I might have got like 20 pieces??! I got this as a meal because I knew what it typically comes out as.... im still hungry :( we also didnt get silverware, or the proper sauces. Overall "meh" visit

Southern fried seafood fare at very affordable pricing points. Quick service. I highly doubt youll leave this place hungry. Could toss in a lemon or lime wedge with the platters of seafood though. A little acidity goes a long ways in powering through pounds of fried food.

You wont go hungry at this mom and pop place. Fish portions are large and very well cooked, not dry. Calamari are very tasty with 2 difrent dipping sauces.
