百年铁桥 ～ Guillemard Bridge这座英殖民时期的铁桥建于1920年，并在1924年启用，以时任英国总督 Sir Laurence Guillemard 命名。铁桥坐落在吉兰丹境内，跨越吉兰丹河，全长609.6米，是大马境内最长的铁道桥。二战期间，英军为了阻断日军进攻，炸毁了最后一段桥身。直到1948年，Guillemard Bridge 才完成修复并恢复通行。当时的 Guillemard Bridge 是供所有交通工具使用的，直到1988年，附近4号公路上的水泥桥建竣后，Guillemard Bridge 才全面转为只供火车通行。Guillemard Bridge 目前仍在使用中，维护得相当完善。

kuala kangsar has victoria bridge, tanah merah has Guillemard Bridge. reached around 10am in the morning, was told by two ladies the train was coming at 2pm. we were happy to take photos before the rail got busy.

Old railway bridge. However the access is quite deep inside the village. Nice to shoot few photos only but nothing much activity suitable to doing here.
