Gas was off for pints ,but staff were more than helpful and welcoming! Got a bit busy layer on .but we enjoyed x

Great spot in the heart of the city. With friendly staff, a cool image, plus the best in Craft beers and music makes it a must see.

Best seafood chowder I ever had. Awesome fish and chip and great selection of beer if your in the Derry area definitely stop by even just for a pint or a snack.

Absolutely delic and taste taphouse burger, nice staff and place is clean, great craft beer, great place for cocktails, live DJ outdoors, great music.

First time in since its been renovated. The food was amazing couldnt fault it. Nice astomspere and friendly staff, hubby loved the guiness definitely worth a visit.

Stopped in here for a swift pint before getting train whilst on business. Nice place, good atmosphere and decent array of lagers on tap.

Really nice food and cocktails. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. My only criticism would be that its draught beer offering is poor for a place with taphouse in its name.

Lots of staff so get served quickly, no long wait at the bar.Empty glasses cleared regularly.Great atmosphere.Cool djNice people

Had a brilliant afternoon here after the St Patrick’s day celebrations, the craic was 90, guy singing was great and all the different beers we got through was even better…

Absolutely the best bar / restaurant we visited while staying Derry, beautiful food, refreshing pints of Stella Artois, very very reasonable prices, fantastic friendly and great sense of humour staff/ waiter / waitress the best, spent a few hours there sitting outside enjoying the atmosphere, strongly recommend the Guidhall taphouse 5 out 5 ⭐️

Booked a table for dinner one week in advance for 7pm at Guildhall Taphouse for one person. Arrived on time only to be told their burgers finish at 7pm and just chilli with sides on the menu. Left to find somewhere without a booking in Derry on a Saturday night! 👎🏻They could have said or warned in advance (they had my details), I’d have changed the booking to 6.45pm or booked elsewhere. COVID seems to have affected their customer service at this place. Everywhere else I’ve been in Derry has been so friendly, welcoming and adaptable.My advice, unless you love chilli book elsewhere for dinner.#visitderry #guildhalltaphousederry

I do love this bar. The atmosphere is really lovely. It has both aspects of classy and casual. The renovation that its received is really beautiful inside. Whilst the pints can be pricey, you know what youre drinking is unique and hometown brewed. Its definitely a pleasant experience! :)

I wish this bar was a better kept secret! It absolutely rocks but can get very busy at the weekend. Amazing cocktails, great beer, amazing atmosphere, cant recommend enough.

Stopped in for a quick beer before the cinema. Wanted to try the house session IPA on tap, its was nice in a bottle but the Dopey Dick Session IPA on tap is way better. Crisp, sharp and nicely grapefruity. I like quite sharp ipas and this didnt disappoint. Nice bar, apparently the ladies toilets were not great.. glad I use the gents as they were fine for a loo. 😂

Great place to grab a drink & some food. Lunch menu from 12-6 on weekend is great value & food is big portions and very tasty. Staff are helpful and attentive. Nice outdoor seating. Will be back again!

I really enjoyed the lunch. There were 5 of us and everyone was satisfied with their meal. I had an enjoyable chicken and bacon dish. Very satisfying indeed. I would recommend this setting to anyone visiting Derry/Londonderry

Had lunch with my brother He enjoyed his Maiden City burger and I enjoyed the seafood chowder.Hopefully Ill return soon. Oh and the Rosé and the IPA went down a treat too.

Great pub great selection of craft ales and beers £4.50 average price. The taphouse also has a cocktail bar with an amazing selection for the ladies but there is a wait when busy..

Great for good weather but if its any way cold then not the best place for drinks. Always quite a random mix of people, rarely any seats from about 8 on. Some good bands and cocktails are nice but quite slow in making them. Would need to visit during the week to see if the atmosphere is any better. Staff are usually very nice but one or two need to change their attitude. Overall not the worst

Went here on a Friday night. There was a huge crowd outside and there was a DJ playing cool music. There is a wide range of beers available and tons of staff, so the service is fast. The cocktails were just ok and quite expensive. The atmosphere is quite nice, although the toilets were much to small for the amount of people there. Queues for both male and female toilets. This may simply be a result of the good weather that was causing a huge crowd to go here.

Solid craft beer list, music is pretty loud and it was filled with a mostly younger crowd, no table space by the time we arrived, maybe 10p. All around enjoyable, but definitely a loud atmosphere.

Great little bar with good beers. Could do more on board the beer selection given the name! Brilliant gin menu though. And great for sitting outside when Derry occasionally gets good weather!

The food in here is gorgeous. And so reasonable. Great selection of beer and I am a beer lover. Favourite bar and bar lunch in Derry city. Love the place

This place is brilliant. Great spot for a beer or gin, always busy any time of the week I have been in which is a good sign! First time eating in it properly today and I will definitely be eating here again. Good atmosphere whatever time of day you are in and the staff are all really friendly and helpful. What else do you need!

So I won a Facebook competition for a 3 course valentines meal for 2 people and a drink in the guildhall taphouse, food was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish everything was cooked to perfection and the cocktails were amazing. Service was fantastic staff were amazing hardly any wait between courses and drinks. Highly recommend we will certainly be back ♥️

Fantastic little pub. Usual pub grub experience, but the staff are most helpful and the selection of beers on tap they have is excellent. Really impressed.Definitely recommend stopping in for lunch (I am sure dinner would be much the sameand a pint. Staff are great and it has a lovely atmosphere

Visited the Taphouse tonight to try out their tapas with friends. I have to say I am highly impressed. Food is amazing, great choice and the service excellent! Shame its only available on Thursdays. Will definitely be back.

Great food, inexpensive, great alcohol/spirits selection. Very friendly service and bartending.

Great bar with plenty of craft beers ( if that your thing also offers food ! Can get busy here at weekend so go early for table of stand all night !
