Guesthouse Gertrudstrasse in Zürich (Kreis 3) / Sihlfeld

We stayed in room 502 in Guesthouse District 3 on the 28-30th September 2020. The appartment would have been great for the price and the size it was. The bed was super comfy and the appartment was spacious with two balkonies. It was also located well, close to shops and public transport.However, the more we looked the more issues we found. Upon a light inspection we found there were used bedsheets and towels stuffed inside the finger-smudged wardrobe; this put us off using it. There was a big stain/splash on the fridge which indiciated it hadnt been cleaned so we also felt uncomfortable using it. Smaller unpleasant details included a hair on the bed, wet wipe on the balcony and the floor which was sticky to walk on especially by the fridge. This is especially unacceptable during the Covid period where the highest standards of cleanliness should be kept.The pillows were lumpy and sadly no kettle was provided. Fridge but no kettle?On the day we felt compelled to call for a cleaner which the staff promised however failed to fullfill. We emailed the company with our complaints and heard no reply.If this was a one off we would stay there again however seeing the other reviews this seems to be a running theme. Ok for a 2 or 3 day stay but not any longer.

Por lo visto Swiss Star permite a los policías de vez en cuando hacer redadas en todas las habitaciones “ eso me dijeron las mujeres de la limpieza”Tuve una experiencia muy desagradable. Un día a las 7 de la mañana me despertó el ruido que hacían los policías tocando a las puertas y rebuscando en las habitaciones . Cuando me tocaron la puerta, al abriles entraron sin permiso y con una actitud grosera, rebuscaban entre mis cosas personales y me preguntaban por si tenía drogas. Es un horror que tengas que soportar algo así estando de vacaciones.La verdad es que nunca llegue a imaginarme que podría pasarme eso. A parte del susto,te hace sentir mal. Es una falta enorme en todos los sentidos. Eviten no ir a un swiss Star si no quieren vivir estas experiencias tan desagradables y menos si va con niños.

2017년 5월에 이용했음. 취리히에 있는 무인호텔이고 예약을 하면 이메일로 예약번호가 옴(호텔 예약사이트 예약번호 아님구글맵을 보고 찾아가보니 건물 정문이 아닌 후문쪽으로 안내가 되어 있었고, 후문으로 가보면 키 박스 하나가 있는데 여기에 예약번호를 입력하면 작은 동전크기의 열쇠가 나옴. 체크아웃 역시 나갈때 이 키박스에 열쇠를 넣고 나가면 끝이였음. 엘리베이터가 있었고 건물 내부는 한국에서 많이 느끼던 모습(빌라나 원룸건물같은)이였음. 방은 생각보다 넓고 깔끔했고 에어컨, 미니 냉장고, 헤어드라이기같은 기본적인 생활용품이 있어 좋았음. 처음 들어갔을때 창문 위쪽이 떨어져 있어서 고장난줄 알았는데 알고보니 스위스 창문은 특이하게 위쪽만 열리는거 였음. 손잡이를 잘 조절해보면 완전 열수도 있고 잠글수도 있는 구조였음. 근처에 coop 마트와 트램정류장이 있고, Leas Waschhaus라는 코인세탁소도 있음. 1박만 했기 때문에 다른부분은 잘 모르겠는데 평이 꽤 호불호가 갈리는 모양인듯. 깔끔한곳에서 잘 자다 갔기 때문에 별점은 5점.. 일단 다시 묵을 의향 있음

The place is cheap, however the basics were very low quality. Our bed was broken!! The shower cabin was leaking and there was no floor syphon to get the water out. I guess 1 night would be OK, but 3 was just too difficult!

There is no concierge. Can only check in after 2 PM by punching in code to receive a token for entry. Location is convenient to access tram to head to tourist attractions.

Nice automated "hotel" with little apartments. Comfy bed, nice TV and a terrace(weather permitting). Located in area with plenty of bars and restaurants, and tram stop nearby. A good choice to stay with more space than in a hotel and at good prices.

Julio 2015. Entorno barrio muy lindo y tranquilo. Comercios, supermercados todo lo necesario, medios de comunicacion muy bueno. La habitacion muy buena amplia, con ventanales, balcones para salir a descansar o cenar con sillas y mesa, en la habitacion todo lo necesario placard, luces ,muebles, nevera, baño amplio todo moderno y en perfectas condiciones, limpio cambio de tohallas diario. Como si fuese un departamento monoambiente pero grande. Muy buena vista, bien decorado y el ingreso tambien decorado, ascensor. Si volveria, hay relacion calidad precio,...... es Suiza y es mas caro que otros paices. Somos de España nacidos en Argentina, pareja 55 y 57 años.
