The service was great and even though we didnt do a testing menu, and just wanted to simple some menu items, they were generous in the welcome tasters and gave us some small desserts. The gucci design inside and the gucci clothing style the waiters work also was very interesting. It was overall a good experience while we at here.

It was a dream of mine to come to Massimo’s restaurant and definitely wasn’t disappointed!! The service was amazing along with the food! Do the tasting menu, you won’t regret it!

This osteria is really a very good surprise. The place is really charming and modern, just near to Piazza della Signoria, one of the best square of Firenze. The personnel is young and welcoming. The cuisine is very good, shaking Italian traditional dishes with the know-how of the chefs, one of them Mexican and the other one Japanese. Massimo Bottura just did a great job here.

Amazing decoration, great food and unforgetable night.Went there with my wife to celebrate an important date to us, and we were super well treated by the whole staff, especially by Raymond, who even made it so that we got a cake for our celebration at the end of our dinner. Thank you so much Raymond!

If you rate this 5 stars, you’ve clearly never eaten at another Michelin star before.I paid €35 for 5 slices of raw glorified pastrami, and it was okay. My girlfriend ordered the lamb for €60, and got a plate of arugula with flavorless and fatty lamb completely devoid of the advertised flavors. Complete waste of time and moneyNot to mention the odd sequencing of the amuse’bouche. With no warning arrived 3 dishes with no relation to each other and completely different flavor profiles with no palate cleanser. The bread course was confusing and lacked any accompanying function (olive oil, butter, or something to dip). The focaccia was actually really good, but not good enough to enjoy alone.This experience was not awful, but for the price you might as well burn €70 and get more flavor from the fumes of the singed currency.Spend your money eating local quality food everywhere around the Osteria. Michelin should know this is an insult to their company.

Although this restaurant has a Michelin star, we found the food to be extremely average. The plates and tastes seemed disjointed and confusing and the presentation could have been much better. We have been to other starred Michelin restaurants and were not sure how this place got the award. We expected more. On the other hand, it is a decent lunch or dinner in Florence, especially if you choose to see the Gucci Garden next door. The dessert courses were delicious. They charged us 5€ for a bottle of water that we got for 1.50€ at another restaurant down the road.

I love when a brand stays “on-brand” and Gucci didn’t disappoint. The moment you walk in, there is a subtle floral note in the air, you wouldn’t even detect it if you don’t pay attention. Next your bag (regardless of the brand “ is given the respect is deserved and a stools or side table are provided just for that. The walls with the signature Gucci greens, the China green it’s the pink flowers and ornamental touches on the floors and even serpent wrapped table legs.The linen on the tables is edges with black lace and the bread sticks are served in a lovely vase. The only boring detail was the silver 😂The meal started with the Tuscan Focaccia (schiacciataand bread sticks. As you might know, Tuscan bread is not typically made with salt but this didn’t take away from the lovely flavor on this toasted bread… there was even a slight peppery hint that I detected at the end of each bite.A special note, if you can get the noisette butter, do it right away! It’s with its weight in gold. And no, I asked, you can’t buy that butter anywhere.Next up the amuse bouche with three totally different profiles. The deconstructed Pappa al pomodoro was intense and wonderful. Filled with 24 month aged Parmesan and topped with dried tomato powder. The taco with the artichoke cream was subtle and perfectly complex in texture: crunch and thick but light cream. The granita was delightful and had layers of fruit flavors ending with the surprising cream at the bottom.The purple corn tostada was a playful dish. It begged to be touched so you can discover it’s depths. My waiter recommended I use my knife to break the taostada but I felt that I wanted to do it slowly without squishing everything. I wonder how others go about playing with this dish.Think green has a decidedly Asian influence from the flavor to the ingredients. The cucumber, trout eggs, custard, asparagus and flower petals in a umami bomb of a vegetable broth.The crispy code dish was very fishy… I don’t mind it, but I am not used to having very fishy fish at restaurants of this caliber… I associate it with spoiled fish. I did like the delicacy of everything else, from the crunch on the fish to the nuts in the broth.The pronto Luisa dish was fascinating in its simplicity. I thought the asparagus was zucchini for a minute but as soon as I picked one with pocorino the asparagus notes were a little more obvious.The steak with rossini’s sauce hit the spot, I love my steak medium rare or rare and the sauce with the caviar was a great combination.For “pre-dessert” it started with daikon slices tipped in gold, almond reduction, and citrus in almond syrup water. The risotto comes with a toasted caper. Have you ever had a toasted caper before? Neither have I! Why don’t we have them as a snack that comes in bags like chips or toasted chickpeas? I am a fan.The carrara piece of art, was many layers of technique and flavors. Delicate basil, perfumy strawberry, and the mozzarella di bufala were great.The guests near me had their phone on speaker and were talking to people the whole time, and the limited tea selection was the only disappointing part of the meal. I just needed one tea option that wasn’t caffeinated, a tisane of some sort, mint or even chamomile or lavender would have been just perfect.For dessert, the chocolate beignet (not fried but felt a little more cakey than a chouxwas filled with a hazelnut mousse with crunchy chocolate balls and topped with more chocolate and caramel disks.They have one seating for lunch. Budget 2.5 hours for the 9 course experience.I made a last minute reservation while I was in Florence and was able to get in the same week.

We had the pleasure to enjoy a lunch at Gucci Osteria during our honeymoon in Florence. The service was exceptional and the food very delicate. It was a great way to discover Tuscan specialities! The decoration is gorgeous and the location is ideal. This experience was the highlight of our trip, we will definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends and family.

Such and excellent fine restaurant. Worth a lot the Michelin star. Price quality very very nice. I ordered the tostada, tortellini, chianina and lamb and they were worth everything. Very good service too.

Subtle but interesting food. Wine pairing was tiny glasses of mostly irrelevant wines. We were forgotten at the end and never got offered any coffee or the like. Food was Michelin level, wines and serving was not.

Incredible meal and wonderful staff. Everything we ate from start to finish was surprising and delicious.

3 out of the 9 courses we had were outstanding. The corn tostadas; beef and brunello and the tortellini. The appetisers and the petit fours were also excellent. Everything else was either distinctly average or not to our taste, eg the lemon risotto - I can appreciate what the chef is trying to do, but it just didn’t work for us! There are much better places to eat in Florence for a fraction of the price. Service was excellent.

We went for the full menu and it is not worth it. During my trip of 2 weeks my wife and I had several tasting menus and this one was one of the most expensive and several courses not up to the expectation. Also we received a mix of service as it didnt seem as we had one assigned waiter and several times we found our selves without water or wine in our glasses. Yes they were a couple of good courses but overall because of how much you pay this was not worth it.

Located in Florence, Piazza dwlla Signoria one the most beautiful place in the world. Very elegant restaurant, refined interiors, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere allowing to talk while dining. Good service. Excellent food raw materials, presented in a fashion up to the expections. However, the description of dishes in the menu is not exactly what will be really served in the plate, leaving doubts that prices are not balanced with the total quality offered by the overall experience.

To be honest, total disappointment for a Michelin one star.The staff service was great.There were a lot of flavors in every dish, but unappealing.There were only two(technically onegood dishes. The broth/egg, which was one of four amuse bouche, and the steak (which the sauce did all the work).I had the most expensive tasting menu(190 euros), which I do not recommend. If you want to experience this place, I recommend a la carte menus.+for some days, only the tasting menus are available.

Amazing room, brilliant service but the menu is a bit hit and miss. After 2 weeks in Florence we were hoping for some stronger flavours, from the Mexican chef. It’s feels like the menu is trying to cater to the subdued Florentine palate as well as an international one, maybe leaving neither completely satisfied.

Was pleasantly surprised. Not going to lie thought it might be overrated when my wife booked the restaurant. The food was top notch and the service was wonderful. I gained a new appreciation Gucci and all the subtle designer uniforms the staff wore to the wallpaper.

It was way too overrated and food was really average. Presentations were not having the wow factor (probably sticking to simplicity, I dont knowbut for the price customers are paying for the experience, at the end of the day, it was disappointing.Service was normal and could have been better if they had more personal touch and care and not work like robots; tables after tables, slots after slots. Explaining menus like a parrots is the worst thing a wait staff can do.Lobster roll was a shock. Lukes lobster is 100 times better and cheaper. Presentation failed, taste failed. Just a brioche with a middle slit and stuffed with some pieces of lobster. Please go get yourself Lukes lobster and it will immediately put a smile on your face, before and after eating.This is not a bias review and I am not affiliated to Lukes lobster.

It was such an amazing experience! The food at Gucci Osteria is just delicious, the staff is very welcoming, knowledgeable, and polite. Everyone makes sure you feel maximally comfortable and enjoy your michelin-time in full.

Lovely and fun restaurant with 1 Michelin*.Restaurant nicely located on the main square, and the setting was an experience. Service was a little rushed, but same experience we had elsewhere (probably for another seating).Food was an experience regarding precision and attention to detail: Everything is beautiful, from dishes to furnishing and serving.Instead of going for their tasting menu, we ordered different dishes to try the most. Each dish was a surprise and in itself very tasty.The highlight in our eyes was a bit disappointing, as it is their so-called signature dish (The Burger- but it was a bit too simple. This could really be better.Restaurant was a bit pricey compared quality to others but still fun to try (due to the Gucci brand). Remember to book beforehand

We were disappointed by our recent visit to Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura. We arrived 30 minutes early in 32 degrees to see the upstairs museum, which was closed and were told to come back 30 minutes later. We were let in 22 minutes later only to be asked to leave again by another employee. I objected and asked for the manager, who "allowed" us to wait the 8 minutes until our reservation was up. Not the best start.We typically choose tasting menus and wine pairings, when we dine in Michelin starred restaurants. This normally shows what the kitchen can do and is often good value for money. Unfortunately we could not feel the passion at all. There were only a few wauws and new experiences to be had. I am not saying it was bad, because it was good. At this level, good does not cut it. To be fair, I did like the Cherry Jubilee dessert very much. (Pictured below)The diners next to us went a la carte and their food looked much better than ours. They also chose wine by the bottle, which we should have done. Our wines were quite young (2017, 2018,2019), except a nice Sauternes from 2010.The whole thing felt like a very upscale McDonalds. I am happy to pay for good food and wine, but this time I felt abused when we got our invoice of 500 EUR. Our advice is save your money and avoid Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura.

I was sort of expecting this to be a ‘trap’ despite the Michelin star but it was actually very good. We started with the amuse bouche, a diverse selection of bite sized ‘puffs’ presenting the in season products of the region. Then, the blue corn tostada gently evoked the flavors of Mexico in one bite: lime, cilantro, avocado, onion, each play a controlled part.The tortellini was by far the best tortellini I’ve had. Each and every piece was a joy to have, wrapping a small carnal filling consisting of many types of meat. The parmigiana sauce was heavenly and plays so well with the lightly gamey filling.For the Emilia burger, there is seemingly no cheese but the patty is actually laced with parmigiana regiano, which creates a subtle cheesey aftertaste. This is a burger that is completely focused on the patty, the bun was so lacking in flavor it only added fluffiness.

Everything was very very good. Every single ingredient was clearly chosen for a reason and served in an ideal way. Awesome, recommended to absolutely everyone from start to finish.

Worth a visit! Chef amazes with her around-the-world tasting menu “The World Through Our Eyes.” Nice wine pairings and great ambience overlooking the square. Would certainly visit again!

Amazing food, with impeccable service. Was a lovely experience. They do block booking of 1.5 hr for a table for two for lunch but we went over the time and weren’t rushed at all. Excellent selection of wine. Worth every cent.

What an event and in such a beautiful restaurant, well worth the money and for a Michelin star restaurant I didnt think it was too extravagant, I would encourage booking as walking in you probably wont get a table!

Food comes second to the experience of eating in a Gucci restaurant. While it’s well presented and generally good, it is also quite forgettable. Service is polite but not personal. Worth visiting once for the experience.We had the tasting menu so we didn’t choose what was served. If ordering a la carte, please give the chawanmushi a miss. It misses both the mark on texture and taste.

Massimos done it again, fantastic food as always. Will definitely request to sit outside next time as even though it was not a full house outside, we were told we could only had an inside table. Maybe if we were Americans that might be different.

Luxury dining for sure. If you have a special occasion, marriage proposal. This is the place to go to. I had a nice dinner with my family. Food was tasty. Its bit pricy but worth the try. Staff is really friendly & helpful.

This place is great for a once off special occasion. The food was absolutely incredible and the service was sublime! We had a great time! As you can imagine its quite expensive and the portion sizes are small, so dont come expecting to eat until youre full up (unless you are a rich daddy). None the less, an amazing place that will make you feel like a boss

If you are looking for something not that traditional and more sophisticated, try Gucci Osteria!Three star Michelin chef Massimo Bottuga, created a menu to highlight the local products.They welcome you with a pineapple juice. Apart from tortellini, despite that are homemade it was my least favourite! Go for the pigeon, you wont believe how delicious with that fruity sauce was. Also blue crab roll was tasty and octopus but corn tostada was amazing and for side chose salad. You can choose tasting menus or a la carte. Situated in Piazza de la Signoria, we had our hotel made our reservation one day before for outside tables where we had our kids together, they even have kids seat if you want. All staff very kind, as suits to a place like this and prices are reasonable considering what they offer you. Next there is a Gucci shop where you can also shop a few things before having your lunch or dinner. If you are in Florence, you must go.

Going to this restaurant for me was paying an homage to the brand and having a dining experience. I have been to Dior restaurant in Antibes and I wanted to experience Gucci Osteria as well. The place is part of the Gucci store on the corner of Piazza Della Signoria. The museum on the second and third floor was under construction so I didnt see much of their past collection. Reservation is definitely needed as I saw a few parties being turned away. I was pretty happy with the service and I enjoyed being served in their signature butterfly china. Our waitress was very pleasant and cordial. The price was very reasonable in my opinion considering the brand is totally out of my price range! They had both the prix fix and a la carte option. They started with a nice pineapple infused drink to clean our palette. I had the tostada as an appetizer and the tortellini (home made of course), my hubby had a salad and their Octopus. Overall the place met my expectation, even though the Dior garden was in another whole level as far as the ambience.

The whole experience was fantastic. Food was sophisticated and delicious. I love they combined Eastern and Western. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The manager Damiano gave us five stars services. I cant recommend him highly enough!

Our waiter was fantastic. He was funny and personable. He recommended a few things for us - some we said yes to and others weren’t our liking. We ended up having some Italian sparkling to start with the quinoa salad and burratini. Both were delicious. I recommend the chicken for main. It’s perfectly cooked. We had the eggplant as a side which was also delicious.We had a dessert to share and were spoilt by the staff for our anniversary. Would recommend this place as it’s definitely an experience. 2 entrees, a main, a side and 4 drinks for €151 in summer - fairly reasonable considering this is Gucci.

Massimo Botturas newly opened restaurant delivers great food compared to the remainder of the city (and even on an international level). But compared to Botturas Osteria Francescana it falls short, missing out on the daring and extraordinary flavours.On the contrary, the meal was fabulously plated and decently priced at 15-20€ a piece (be aware that portions are lunch sizedand a similar meal will be difficult to come by.The uniqueness of the Gucci Garden and the hospitable service added to the experience.I highly recommend a visit but would have wanted a bit "more" from such an inspiring chef as Massimo Bottura.

A great dining experience.Dishes are of great quality and great imagination. The tasting menu is a world tour of typical flavors reinvented in unconventional ways.Location is great, fancy but very comfortable.Prices are very reasonable considering the great quality, and pretty affordable generally speaking.Reservation is a must.

Great dinner experience at Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura. The menu is called "Vieni nel mondo con noi" which could be translated as "Travel the world with us" and probably represents the new vision of Gucci, embracing a mix of different cultures and watching mainly to the future.The restaurant is quite small, welcoming around 30 guests, and is located inside Palazzo Mercanzia, a 14th century building in Piazza della Signoria, probably the most important square in Florence.The staff is welcoming and very careful to every need you have. The food offer is great and very diverse, you can come back again and live a much different experience. Had a wonderful dinner, Ill be back soon for exploring more!

Excellent, yet very small, restaurant in the Gucci Garden building. Originally the Gucci museum, it has been transformed into a shop and restaurant with products not sold anywhere else.The food is excellent, with 3 Michelin Star chef Massimo Bottura.Be prepared that is not traditional Italian but flavors and ingredients from around the world.Book a long way in advance, there are only 12 tables.I had the Bonito then tortellini and the pina colada for dessert.
