Tacos are good but You better work on Customer Service. On 08/2/2022 arround 9:15 pm your attendant was very mean. Customer service makes the difference..She made me pay for 15 tacos.. I ordered 10 carne asada tacos and before my order was ready, i asked if they were served with salsa because it was not clear to me. She answered "yes, thats the way they are and everybody eats them". I politely asked if she can prepare 5 without salsa and ahe said "no, order is ready" (was not true). Anyway she told me she must charge me for the 5 No salsa tacos, cuse she will scrap 5 with salsa,i paid for the 5 i wanted an after 25 minutes or so, her partner gave be 15 tacos WITHOUT SALSA, WHATS THE POINT TO MAKE ME PAY FOR 5 MORE... little this screw big businesses... Sadly the enemy of a Mexican is another Mexican (or sort)... It was the poor girl in black leggins and tshirt

Overall, good food in big portions! Some dishes are much better than others, but mostly very tasty. Very good salsa at the salsa bar.

The food is so delicious. Ive been coming here for 20 years. Their burritos are HUGE and filled with a large amount of top quality ingredients. The quesadillas are phenomenal. Their cookies are yummy. The service is wonderful. I love coming here the food is consistent.

This is my go to Mexican food place in the area. The staff are nice and the food is delicious. I usually go for the super tacos (which are pretty hefty, so dont get overzealous with the ordering).I love being able to munch on chips and salsa before my tacos come out. The avocado salsa is my jam. They also have a green salsa and a red salsa that are pretty solid.I usually only get tacos if I dine in. If Im getting to go, and feeling extra hungry, Ill go for a burrito instead. I dont live particularly close by, and tacos dont really travel well. Their burritos are also solid. Im usually a carne asada person, and their carne asada has a good flavor and texture.Definitely recommend if youre in the area!

Been going here since I was a baby(25 now), they have the best enchilada sauce hands down. Always excellent, always on time. Love this place with my whole existenceTry the enchirito burrito and add guacamole, grab some of their guacamole salsa and some chips and you’re set.Also the stuffed avocado plate is insanely good!10 stars

Been going over 25 years. Locals come here, any street work or construction; theyre all here. English is almost a 2nd language. Thats how you know its good Mexican food! Rarely a mistake.

Its good, really good, taqueria food. The green salsa is especially good, even the American food is good. Eating probably more taqueria meals than is necessarily healthy this is my familys favorite in the area.

FIRST TIME HERE TRYING THE BURRITOS. A FRIEND OF OURS RAVES ABOUT THE BURRITOS HERE. I MUST SAY THERE THE BEST. I HAD A CHICKEN BURRITO, CAME WITH PICO DE GALLO , GUACAMOLE Y SOUR CREAM. VERY GOOD . IT WAS HUGE. BUT ILL CUT IT AND FREEZE TO PIECES FOR ANOTHER DAY. ALSO TRIED 2 TACO DE CARNITAS VERY GOOD. WHEN WE COME BACK TO SAN MATEO WELL MAKE SURE TO STOP BY AGAIN. DELCIOUS!!!

Best Mexican restaurant in San Mateo County bar none..El Mate is a close second,..has all the Mexican places downtown looking stupid! Not greasy everything on menu is great!

The food is mediocre at best and heated in a mocrowave. The cashier is extremely rude. And I was forced to leave for not wearing a mask. Dont waste your time.

Ive been going here since I was 10 years old back in 1995. Ive always stuck to ordering their super burritos and 26 years later their steak burritos have tasted exactly as I remembered them from the first time, delicious. Guadalajaras is the standard I measure all other burritos to. I moved to the central valley in 2014, but anytime Im in the Bay, this is always a must stop.

Only strike I can mention is that not all their regular menu items are on their DoorDash menu. Otherwise, flavorful authentic food at great prices.

This taqueria is a decent one. The food is good, nothing special. The restaurant is a little small in my opinion. The burritos are average. The wait time is okay. Sometimes they are quick, but other times they are not. Overall, it’s an okay place for some Mexican food.

I had the Chili Verde Burrito. Its huge, could only eat half of it. Its pretty tasty and you can add 3 of their sauces, green, brown and red. Price was $8.99.

Good food, seems to be mostly authentic, particularly the tacos. Horchata was also nice though it seemed a bit watered down. Overall a good REAL Mexican place though definitely not at actually-in-Mexico level.

Rude customer service. No hello how are you even. Cleanliness is up for discussion. Food mediocre. Prices could be cheaper for food quality. Better off heading to SF for authentic Mexican food. Same price 10x better quality.

This place used to be really good, but lately when I call it seems like they have a attitude and now when I get my tacos the lime for my tacos they seem really passed due. Used the lemon and 10% juice 90% solid. I have been going for years and dont want to give them a really bad rating, but I hope they improve.

Used to be my go too, definitely has gone downhill.Burrito was poorly throw together. I asked for extra guac in the burrito and I could hear as Im paying the chef joke and say "well I didnt put any extra in there". (I had called in the order). They gave me a tiny little side of guac.....paid extra for that?

Justy ordered some food tonight and I’m pretty disappointed. I ordered online, the girl who answered the phone was quick to rush me off and seemed out of it. We ordered two super nachos, one with extra sour cream & no guacamole, the other with no sour cream. Apparently all the condiments were placed oh the side. The girl seemed completely out of it in person as well. Food was prepared wrong compared to what is shown online and dissatisfied is just the tip of the ice berg on how we feel about dinner tonight. Very disappointed.

Not that good. Called in a order that was 10 mins late. Got a big burrito but was mostly filled with dry rice. Pastor was also dry/ burnt. It was edible but not to good

These guys are good and fast. Prices are decent and salsa bar is a plus. Good horchata too. This is basically taco truck faire, so dont expect fancy. Its greasy in a good way and portions are nice. Even just a bean and rice burrito is enough to get me to stop by.

Guadalajara Grill is convenient and fills your food craving.. Thats about it.Now you know Im not one to leave a salty review, but this place has left me upset not once, not twice but three times. And I believe the wonderful hungry people in the area should be aware.Caution : frequently messed up ordersCaution: uses old food products.Ill leave it at that... But dont get anything that requires sour cream. Its risky. Otherwise, their food is decent.

very friendly staff, great food, and a great value! theyre the only place that I regularly go back to in the area at least once or twice a week, both before shelter-at-home started, and during it.the menu also has a ton of options, and all of them are good. the top 3 in my view though are the breakfast burrito, the super burrito with al pastor, and the chimichanga with ground beef or carnitas

Its ok I ordered a burrito the flavor was ok the salsa bar had different sauces and honestly didnt like the flavors of any of them my burrito was a super burrito asada the seasoning for the asada was to spicey. I like spicey but this had no flavor it was just hot and it was ok used to be better a while ago now its just fallen off

I celebrated my graduation today in this gorgeous place. happy to tell that we had a magnificent evening and the restaurant was unquestionably one of the reasons for the happy meeting. The crew contributed in a splendid way, the food was tasty and my guests were so delighted. We shall definitely visit again for more joyful events. thanks very much.

NEVER AGAIN! Chips were stale and almost broke my teeth! Tacos were nasty and the meat was over cooked and tough. Horrible place to eat! Waste of money. Jack in box has better tacos.

It was great for a quick eat. The service was fast without being fast-food. There were lots of Mexican options and (best partinfinite chips! As for pricing, two burritos plus drinks cost about 20 bucks. The food was awesome and very filling. Guadalajara had a la carte options as well as simply describing what you want.

I used to live in the Mission in SF, and when I moved I was amazed to find this place because its one of the best Mexican restaurants around. Fresh ingredients, great salsa, and I absolutely love the white meat Pollo Asado. Everything here is good but my favs are the Cajun burrito and the plates!

Excellent value. I got a plate for about $12, and it easily could have filled up two people. Great local vibe, and the salsa bar isnt too bad either.

I come from Oregon to eat here Ive always loved it! When i go home i order two burritos and put then on ice so i can eat them in oregon. Theyve always asked if I wanted whole or refried beans when ordering burritos but the last one I ordered they just gave me refried and I prefer whole. Friendly people and good service and great food.
