They have very good food. Prices can be a little high but what isnt nowadays. As long as its worth it Im willing to pay it. Very relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Enjoyed my time here. Thanks to employees and customers.

Still waiting for our breakfast. It has been 1 1/2 hours. I am an understanding person and things happen and I am okay with it BUT for breakfast this is ridiculous.

Crab balls were very good. Delmonico steak was rare when requested medium. Too rare for me. Service was good.

Saturday half price burgers have become a regular with us. Not only are they inexpensive, but are about the best in the area. Grumpys is a hidden gem and a destination for the locals.

Good bar food and cheap drinks. Friendly staff. Happy hour they have food out thats free and have happy hour deals. Specials every day. The chilli is really good. Its a great after work spot as well as a good lunch spot.

This used to be a great little weeknight spot. The food has gone to hell in a hand basket. The portions have been made smaller and they are using cheaper cuts of meats. The dinners are way too overpriced for what you order. We wont be going back.

My room looks out over the bar and grill great ribs prices are a little bit high but you got to consider the source a lot of people eating from the hotel the hotel at grumpys wild Wolf Lodge is awesome

Needed a good meal at moderate price, traveling north for a wedding. Ordered by phone from our hotel, dinner ready for pick up in15 minutes. Burgers were cooked just right, fresh and tasty, french fries just right crispy not sogg or greasy. Bonus- foods are NOT salted- great for us with high bp. Highly recommend - located in TravelLodge off 95 in Abderdeen!

The food was probably the best Ive eaten in a long time. The wings, sweet potato fries and chicken Chesapeake wrap was excellent! The service was great. Staff was pleasant. Even my Shirley temple was amazing. Definitely will be coming back when Im in town.

The taco salad is good in the big tortilla bowl i did not know if u can eat the tortilla bowl or not but it does taste good never had one and also the home made old bay chips is good too first time ordering from here .thanks for the delivery through grub hub .

2 stars due to owner negligence. I have a service dog due to a disability and this place will not allow me or other handlers to come in due to the fact that they don’t want a dog in their facility. Which is illegal and discrimination. My dog is probably cleaner than the bar itself, mild mannered and well behaved. I shouldn’t have to be embarrassed by being told no entry due to a disability

I’ve only been here 2 times & service is horrible + the place is dirty😂😂.. but I called today asking if they still had wing night and all I got was attitude from a lady that answered the phone. I’m asking a simple question, its not like I knew this place stopped wing nights. Don’t even bother with this place, it’s a waste of your time 🤷🏻‍♀️

Really good food and service. We were q group of 12 and another large party sat justvafter us and the staff was still attentive, friendly and fast. All the food was very good.

Fantastic food...try the Chicken Chesapeake..... The also have mussels and shrimp and prime rib and gourmet burgers and other daily specials...

Our server was awesome. Great attitude and very accommodating. Most of the food was good. About half of stuffing I had with my pork was putty like and not very appealing. The rest of my meal was good.

Cozy little place with a friendly wait staff and good food. I had the reuben and my friend had a personal pizza. We shared chicken tenders. Everything was tasty and hot. There seemed to be a lot of regulars - always a good sign - so Ill definitely be back! Recommended.

My wife intentionally left out the fact that it was attached to a Travelodge hotel because she knew Id never give it a chance had I known. I almost didnt go in after pulling up. So glad I did. The food was great, the staff and other customers were very personable and we had a great time.

Grumpys is always the best, the food, staff and atmosphere is always great! As long time patron, I truly have to say, it is one of my most favorite places to dine! I highly recommend this establishment to anyone local or traveling up interstate I-95 North Exit # 85 Aberdeen. You will not be disappointed!

I’m in the area for work, and decided to order some takeout from Grumpy’s because of its proximity to my hotel. I was not disappointed. Decent food, great prices and very friendly service. Would stop back again for sure.

We stayed at a nearby hotel and was looking for a place to get dinner. We found Grumpys online. When we approached the restaurant we were a little apprehensive but when we went in it was nicely decorated and felt clean. We tried the chilli and french onion soup as appetizers and both were delicious although my husband did add hot sauce to his chilli which he adds to most things like that. We split a steak and cheese and it was amazing. The bread was excellent Italian bread. We will definitely stay in town again and visit Grumpys. The waittress were also top notch!! We saw several, what appeared to be, locals so it did seem like a place the locals come too as well as hotel guests.

I ordered 6 cream of crab soup bowls, which I ordered in the restaurant previously, and it was great eating in. This time not so great. It had a good flavor but was lacking crab meat. On a scale of 1-10, I’d rate it a 5. This was yesterday Wednesday May 20. The 6 of us were very disappointed.

Hometown bar and home cooking eatery. Cant beat the food and service is always good. Blackened chicken cheesesteak is great wings awesome and soups spot on.

No star would be better.We sat down, totally ignored. Ask an employee for menus and why no one came to our table yet or even brought water. He said we are a little busy, Yet the waitress waited on a couple just walking in. She walked by our table 3 times totally ignoring us.Still didnt get any service, so we walked out.I want to know why we did not get served?A friend recommended this place and we really wanted a burger, but After all that I list my appetite.Much better second try. Food good. Service great.

Been a Batemans HDG guy for Monday wing night for 12 years. First time in Grumpys since like 2009 and I must say service was great, thank you Robin (Bar tenderand wings were awesome. I think I found my new Monday night spot.

Great food. We loved the cream of crab soup. I felt the portions were great for the price. I had country fried steakband my wife had blackend chicken sandwich. The service was awesome and food came out quick.

I enjoyed this place. Their food was pretty good and our waitress was nice. The place is a restaurant/bar and is attached to a hotel. The place doesnt look like much from the outside but the food was good. My friend said that her drink could have been a bit stronger and I also think they should offer maybe some kind of signature drink of some sort.

Great Food. Ive never ordered a meal that wasnt amazing! Psst home cooked liver & onions isnt on the menu but they have it and it is as good as moms. The staff is down to earth and very nice. Its my neighborhood secret.

Got food from grumpys yesterday which was fairly priced spent 59 bucks. I got the ribs,southwest chicken,tenders,and cheesesteak. The best part was the cheesesteak..ribs were dry ..tenders were cooked in old grease..chicken sandwich havent tried yet but looked very basic only came with cheese bacon and bbq could use some other condiments like lettuce tomato etc...but i recommended the cheesesteak for sure

We got a virgin strawberry daiquiri in 2 different days and we’re charged 2 completely different prices. The sauce on the stuff tilapia tasted like mustard and was gross. The fried calamari was basically just breading. My Caesar salad was gross. The dressing was just dumped on top, not tossed in the lettuce like it’s supposed to be. It’s a convenient place to eat since we were staying in that hotel but wouldn’t recommend it otherwise.

Dont let the sketchy outside and dated decor deter you. The food here is simple and good. Cheesesteak and fries lunch for 11$ is a pretty good deal for the area. Service good and beer cold.

I found this gem a few months ago and have been coming almost weekly since. The chicken Chesapeake is amazing and I’m obsessed with their sweet potato fries 😍 food is consistent. I’ve never had an issue there and staff has always been friendly and on point. Another family fav is Grumpy’s Nachos, they don’t last 5 mins at our table. Burgers are good, chili is awesome, daughter loves the ribs, and I’ve had the steamed shrimp & onions occasionally - YUM 😋 Portions are generous, we always take food home. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Another local dive bar. Oddly enough its attached to the hotel. They do have a single pool table in here. Bar is a bit cleaner than the others in this town, so they get an extra star for that. Decent younger crowd than the other places as well.A bit small, but its not a big city either.

Love that its a cheap nice place for dinner and you are actually full. My last visit our bill was 86 before the tip after it was 100 but for a beautifully sized cheese steak, a rack of ribs and two jumbo shrimp platters and one shot of vodka I was very pleased. I definitely would of spent more if I were to have went somewhere else so I love that about Grumpys😊 and the staff was wonderful very pleased

Ive been coming here for over 10 years and always enjoy the GREAT food, atmosphere and company. Cant say I have ever had a bad meal here, and the menu selection has something for everyone. The kid zone makes this a great family-friendly restaurant perfect for any night of the week. Go ahead and try it if you havent. You wont regret it...
