Growler USA in Macon

Decided to visit after sister in law spoke well of the food. Went there paid for the food, waited an hour, just to be told the kitchen never received my order. (Me asking after overhearing cashier and waitress). Instead of waiting another 10/15 minutes like I was told, I just asked for a refund.

Tried this place for the first time after hearing about it at work! It was spot on.Really good atmosphere the burger could of had a little more flavor.But all in all we will definitely be going back again!

Well planned on getting food until a waitress told me her boss doesnt allow firearms in the establishment. If they didnt want guns inside maybe they should post a sign on the door like all the other places that do so. Wont be getting my money again.

Awesome menu, great service! Tots and brussel sprouts were very good and the chicken club sandwich was fantastic! Chicken breast, bacon, lettuce, tomato and avacado. Was enough for two. Will recommend and be back soon.Ok. So we visited Growler again this weekend. Place is great but let me say this....dont waste your money on the fish and chips. You get four fish sticks and a bunch of fries. They definitely need to go to another distributor for their fish. Disappointed. 13$. Wasnt worth 7$ at best.Now......the Dirty South burger is off the chain and across the highway. Great burger and def worth a visit. Cooked to med with perfection!And service was streched thin but the servers worked their tails off. Great job guys!So, with that being said....we will return! (Just wont order the fish and chips!)

The place is lovely. Definitely gives you nice Asian vibes and is very authentic looking. The soup is awesome and the little chip things they bring out is always a win. The rest of the food (main dishesare just okay. I got vegetable egg foo yong, and it wasnt the best one Ive ever had but not bad. Id come back

Very good customer service from everyone, the food was amazing a they have a book of beers to look through. I highly recommend eat here this is the best burger joint in Middle Georgia

The service was excellent (the waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable), the restaurant was clean, and the food was good. We loved the brussel sprouts. The burger might have been a bit salty, but the flavor was good and the combinations were unique. Will definitely be returning!

My wife and I stopped in yesterday for the first time after reading reviews and seeing the amount of beer on tap. When we arrived, there were probably 10 customers inside which actually surprised us as it was 530ish on a Saturday and expected it to be busier.We sat at the bar and was greeted by Victoria. She brought us a couple glasses of water and gave us menus. That’s when more people started coming in and it got busier. Victoria was the only one working in the front and she was completely overwhelmed. She was working as fast as she could, serving food, taking orders, pouring beer and cocktails. It took prob 15 minutes for us to place our beer and food order. She apologized for the wait but it was obviously not her fault. She never stopped moving but couldn’t keep up. Halfway through our visit, another woman came from the back, delivered a food order and started washing glasses behind the bar instead of helping with customers. glasses behind the bar. The food was good once it arrived and the few beers we tried were really good.We will be back for sure, but hopefully the place won’t be understaffed next time. I actually felt bad for Victoria but it seemed most of the customers were really patient and understanding because they could also see she was working alone.

Food was restaurant quality with pub prices. Better food than the rookery for all u maconite. People were ultra nice. Out of 100 beers 3 were out. The first beer I asked for was out, but I was very fairly compensated. Sports are on demand. My "wife" is vegetarian and was happily satisfied. Top 5 dining experiences I have ever had.

Excellent food, service, & beer choices. Would have left 5 stars if it wasnt for the bartender (asked his name before I left, Taylor). He was extremely unprofessional and completely disrespectful to our server. Very loudly talking her down. All of us customers were looking at each other in disbelief and leaving because of the level of discomfort. Instead of having him as the face of your company at the bar, possibly move him to a back of the house position or possibly get rid of permanently.

Variety of beers (100+also bartenders were helpful and animated! Unique appetizers, happy hours too, food specials on certain days. Burgers are the best! Burger deals are on Mondays.

Very tasty food for a fair price, with an incredible beer selection! I do think IPAs are a bit large a percentage of the tap, but I also just dont care for IPAs much. Make sure to get the spicy aioli sauce for anything you want spicy, especially their twisted chips. The buffalo Bleu ones were already good, but I bet that would have kicked them up another notch! Please yall, recommend it highly to spice lovers for a pleasant kick! my burger was cooked to perfection to order, and my only complaint is that I wish I could have gotten a few more slices of fresh jalapeno. If you order The inferno Burger, make sure to ask for a little bit more of it to get a good kick. Can you tell it like things spicy? And they have areally good selection of sowers if you like those for cooling off during your meal. Definitely go for a flight, you wont be able to decide on a single beer very easily.

Twice now we have ordered food from Growler via waitr. Both times it was nearly 2 hours before food was delivered. When the food was delivered, 3 out of 6 orders were wrong and 1 was missing entirely. Do not recommend.

Ill start by saying what many others said, they need work on their service in terms of speediness and quality. That being said, the burgers were good, been twice, tried differnt burgers each time and was thoroughly satidfied with them. They also have some great ciders. Im not much for beer but always order a cider. So, if you go when its slow, you wont dissapointed. If you go when theyre busy... well just make sure to leave plenty of room for conversations and rounds of cider. We never go in a rush so there longer wait times or sometimes forgetful staff is not a big deal.

A full-bar-length selection of draft beers and good burgers. Tip: get the spicy aioli as a burger sauce. Definitely get ranch and spicy aioli on top if you get Philly loaded fries. The upgrade cost from regular fries to loaded is very reasonable and you get a ton. Good service from Sam tonight.

Great burger place, even if you dont drink. A bit loud when one or two folks talk loudly about the past, trying to relive their glory days.. Try the pretzel appetizer for the cheese sauce. Burgers are wonderful.

Excellent selection of beers and really really good food! Lots of TVs and friendly service. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is their consistently incorrect beer descriptions. Not sure what their source is for these descriptions, but so many are so wrong. Do yourself a favor and look up beers on Google or Untappd first to get an accurate description of the beer. Ordered a Mexican Lager yesterday that is described as light and refreshing and it’s actually an American Pilsner with Serrano pepper added. Huge miss and wasted a growler on it.

Absolutely love this place! The burgers are great and theres definitely plenty of beer to go around. Theres honestly not much to say about this place other than you go and try it for yourself. They have a binder that shows all the beer they have on tap and trust me when I say its a lot.

Nice selection of beer on tap. Chicken was spicy and tender as I requested. The waffle tasted like an ego instead of a nice waffle made to order from waffle batter.

Fantastic place, best food ever! Their turkey melt was flavorful and delicious. Awesome tots cooked to the perfect crispiness and melt in the mouth centers. Highly recommend this place.

We love eating here. We shared a breakfast burger and it was the best. If you havent been, this is a must! We dont drink but the water is good:)

Decent stop on our way through town heading to north Georgia. We stayed at the nearby Marriott so nice walking distance. Huge selection of beers and decent bar food menu. Service was ok.

99 beers on tap. 6 beers in an adorable flight presentation. Amazing service. Delicious entrees with sensible choices (try the ahi tuna wrap and steamed veggies). Glad we made this late dinner choice!

Really nice place to hang out with your friends to drink variety of beer. The price is also great, especially happy hours. However, one of our visits wasnt great due to long wait for our beer (30 min or so). So, Ill deduct one star for that.

Nearly 100 beers on tap, very good selection. Ended up ordering food and had moderate expectations that were thoroughly surpassed. The food was fantastic. Server was new on the job and working with a trainer, both were very helpful, friendly and responsive. Convenient location since my hotel was across the street, not exactly a great outdoor area since it is in a strip mall type area, but did have some.seating outside. Very clean and overall a great place to grab a beer and something to eat.

Yummy burgers here. I have been with other people that have tried other things, but the burgers are king. I am not a big beer drinker, but the selection of beers on tap is impressive and if you like one of the pours, they will gladly get you a growler to take some home. Its also a great place to watch sports as they have MANY TVs that are easily seen. We had a little trouble with the service last time, but the food made up for it.

Paid 45 bucks for 2 burgers, 2 orders of tots and pretzels. Didnt even get the pretzels. Thought the order was easy enough that I didnt check and left my receipt at the bar. The food was ok nothing special for $45.

This is a nice place, laid back, good music, relaxing atmosphere, good beer and great food! The buffalo chicken dip served with naan was delicious, with just enough heat, and the beer cheese in it was amazing; it was so good, we sopped up the remaining sauce with our tots and fries. The "big greasy" burger was cooked perfectly with just enough pink to keep the burger tender and juicy. The beer selection provides several options from ales, to ipas, to sour beers and more. I had a sour ale that was delicious, high alc, so it came in a smaller glass, but delicious all the same. My spouse had a grapefruit and blood orange shandy that was light and refreshing. The service was great, and everyone served us with smiles on their faces. Definitely going back to try more dishes!

I ordered through the Waitr app and wasnt dissapointed. The food was amazing. The fries are out of this world and the burger was HUGE. I got the "city of burgerly love" and WISH I had asked for more beer cheese sauce. It was so good and I normally dont like beer cheese.

Very good! I docked a star because there was a brush hair on my bun, but they took care of it relatively quickly. Delicious veggie burger.

The food was fantastic. I had the fried gouda mac and cheese balls and it was great. The burgers and fries were delicious. The customer service was amazing and that stood out to me the most. 10/10 will go again

Gotta love a dirty south burger. This bar "pub joint" serves good food and has a massive selection of rotating beers, stouts, and ales on draft. Take advantage of the two free samples they offer each time you dine here to increase your exposure to different beers without committing to one right off the bat.

Great selection of beers... But menu is a little limited. Their garlic aioli is super good... I had the tacos... But it didnt say on the menu that they put the kickin aioli on it... Way too hot for me. Probably would be good without the sauce.

A line of taps running the length of the (very longbar. Something for everyone. Not just beer. And if you cant do without fried chicken skin, (and even if you can, you shouldntthey have that too.

Finding somehwere that makes a burger that is as beautiful as the picture, AND tastes just as wonderful is VERY rare. So when I looked at my plate I was skeptical because of how fabulous it looked. OMG, that first bite was so full of fantastic flavors that I couldnt focus on anything outside of all the talent that went into making the most amazing burger I have ever eaten! It was juicy and thick, cooked to perfection on a perfectly toasted bun. The sidewinder fries were perfectly seasoned and the perfect texture. They say perfect is hard to achieve, but this place got perfect... well perfect! My new go to for a good burger.

79 cent wings Wednesday. What they call spicy is actually quite mild, but still has as good flavor. Ask for more sauce, there wasnt enough on the wings for me. Fries are delicious!! Please dip them in the wing sauce and thank me later.

First and last time ordering food from here. I ordered chicken and waffles. Ordered thru Waiter, called restaurant after a 2 hour wait on the food. Spoke with someone who stated they were behind on orders. Ok, fine. Food finally arrives around hour 3 and my waffle is hard and my chicken is disgusting. Waste of my money! I dont expect them to care though.

I had lunch here today. Ordered a flight of beer. Johnathon was my waiter and was very knowledgeable about the beer on tap. I also ordered the Dirty South Burger which by the way was the best burger I have ever had in a restaurant!The owner, Danny, talked with me for a while. Super nice gentleman and to top it off he is a United States Marine veteran. Danny, I will be back soon! Enjoyed my meal and fellowship with you and Johnathon.

Great restaurant. Fast service and decor is gorgeous. Oh the beer is good. Met the owner Danny Patel and he made me feel as if I family.Must go great food and great people.

Amazing! Traveling through and stopped here due to reviews and proximity to 75. Worth it! Dirty South burger was amazing. Perfect buttered and toasted bun. Nice juicy burger patty. Just right pimento cheese.

Great place to relax and have conversations. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I love the menus choices. And, btw, they have 100 craft beer on tap!

Usually I am ALL ABOUT LOCAL (not a franchise like this one), but they impressed me for sure. Good food. Good drinks. Service was a disaster while I was there, but they were trying hard, so that may have just been an anomaly.

I loved their beer selection! The staff was super stressed out, running out of beers, dishes, glasses, and you could feel the stress from behind the bar. I only give a 4 star review because our bartender made it right for us and handled made it fun for us

Bar tender Gary is an excellent beer ambassador. Food is really great, but the star of this place is the 100+ taps. If youre in Macon, and you like craft brew, you should visit this place.

Personally this is one of the worst restaurants I have been to in a long time. I never leave reviews, but I believe this restruant is an exception. For an appetizer , we ordered pretzels. What we got were pretzels that were some how worse then stadium pretzels (mostly because they were cold and you could tell they were microwaved). And we paid 9 dollars for them. Then my entrée came out. I ordered a avocado and chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwhich bread was soggy, with weird sauces and oils leaking out of it. Next was the chicken. The chicken was somehow soft, and it had a weird texture that I couldnt quite place. The vegetables on the sandwhich did not taste fresh what so ever. I do not drink, so I was not able to taste the beer, but they did seem to have a big beer menu. Overall, I would not recommend this restruant. I hate to give a restaurant such a terrible review, but I feel as though I must warn others.

The food here is definitely tasty, but lets be honest, the real reason to visit Growler USA is for the beer selection. And it really is impressive. Theres a little something for everyone, and plenty of tasty food to go along with it.

Great beer selection and food was good. Service was slow at lunch. The one in Warner Robins is bigger. Overall its a good place close to Mercer University for burgers and beer.

Beer was good, service was good but the cheese they use in the Mac and Cheese and for dipping sauce was pretty gross. It tasted burnt... The server behind the bar tried mine and agreed it was bad. They made me a "new" batch which also tasted burnt. They said it was bad cheese... But continued to serve it to others. My buddy was over charged by $9 when filling his grower also. But the beer was good... Just watch your bill and dont get anything with their cheese.
