Utsökt mat, utmärkt service och lugn atmosfär.Dock föreslår jag att menyn skulle utökas med några rätter, både vegetarisk och vegansk

Bemötandet och servicen var bra till och börja med, men trots att vi var första gästerna på plats så fick vi vänta nästan 50 minuter på vår mat. Flera andra gäster som beställde efter oss fick sin mat före oss. Inte ok, och det innebär att vi inte kommer att äta här igen. Maten var riktigt bra, men det räcker tyvärr inte när man blir bortglömd och får vänta.

Mkt bra mat, portioner är inte speciell stora, men man kan äter 3gång meny. Blandad urval av cocktails, vin och öl i flaska och fat. Vin finns att beställa per glas, kring 100 kr per glas. Det finns uteplatser som är skyddat med markis. Restaurangen har lunchservice med. Generellt ganska dyr ställe, men maten är av mkt bra kvalitet. Fiskrätter, lamm, gris och nötkött. Tyvärr ingen kycklingrätt a la carte. Olika dessertalternativ och 6 förrätter.

Problematiskt upplevelse. Löjromsförrätt håller hyfsat god standard, även om man pepprat för mycket. Väldigt varmt i lokalen, trots blygsamma 19°C ute.Huvudrätten har flera problem. Beställer medium-rare, får blått. Dessutom är oxfilén senig, vilket jag aldrig sett förr. En av bitarna är så senig att den blir oätlig. Denna rätt kostar 340:- och behöver hålla betydligt högre standard.Serveringspersonal är unga, oerfarna och förvirrade, även om hjärtat är på rätta stället. Middag för 1500:- som tyvärr inte håller måttet.

Mycket god och vällagad mat. Kul kombinationer och smaker.Trevlig personal.Något tråkigt läge men inget som stör (och maten är alldeles för bra för att det ska få avgöra).

Mycket trevligt bemötande och service. Maten var god, men inte det bästa jag ätit.Läget är bra, nära till hamn, centrum och station.Priserna... mja, 99 kr för vitlöksbröd och 49 kr för en flaska Carlsberg alkoholfri - det är mer än nödvändigt högt. (kostar 12 kr på Bolaget)

Mycket god mat och trevlig personal! Väldigt serviceinriktad personal som lyssnade på våra önskemål och även gjorde det lilla extra! Det var även vårt första restaurangbesök med hund - och även det gick jättebra! Personal såg till att även hunden hade det bra! :)

Otrevlig personal. En specifik i servisen var extremt otrevlig då min kompis hade varit med om en liten olycka och akut behövde låna närmsta toalett. Hon frågade om hon fick låna toaletten varpå servitören svarade ”hade du frågat hade du fått låna, men nu var du otrevlig och därför säger jag bara stick härifrån” han pekade utåt och sa till oss ”så bara get out of here”. Han hörde inte alls att min kompis faktiskt frågade, och därför blev vi väldigt chockade över responsen, för toaletten var helt ledig och oavsett om man frågar eller inte borde det vara okej att låna en toalett, det är inte en så stor grej, men för honom var det tydligen det. Det minsta han hade kunnat göra var åtminstone att vara lite trevlig.

God fisk, men smöret var inte brynt utan smält vilket gör stor skillnad på smaken

My girlfriends dish was soggy and overly salty. She tried to call over one of the three waters that were tending to the 7 tables of diners but to no avail. After 20 minutes of waiting for a waiter to come over. We explained that the dish was inedible and he agreed and said that other people have complained in the past about it and if it was up to him then it wouldn’t be on the menu but the head chef likes it. He then offered 50% for the dish even though it hadn’t been eaten. Strange behavior from staff and average, overly priced food. Wouldn’t recommend.

Topp, perfekt plankstek, perfekt ryggbiff med kappa och härlig dessert. Mycket bra service och härligt läge mitt i Kalmar med folklivet runtomkring hade vi en jättefin upplevelse i vårkvällen.

I came for the first time and it is a very warm and friendly place. You can enjoy your meals in a quiet and calm environment. I ate venison for the first time and it tastes amazing or their cooks are very good :I would like you to stop by and try it. I cant comment on prices because I didnt have the opportunity to examine other places with the excitement of the first evening. I cant go without saying that the employees are also very warm and friendly.

Excellent food (had Planksteak and Portabello), Some vegetarian options. Friendly and attentive staff. Dessert was yummy and well composed. Calm area of town as well.

Great food and friendly atmosphere. Delicious tartar of salmon and scallops, and good fish and meat dishes. We sat outside and enjoyed being close to the water. The staff was friendly and easily made accommodations. The wine list was small but the wines were good.

What to say about it? In the time we live now, my friends and I sat inside the restaurant with bad ventilation, the service was great, even though I dont know if I have paid for the glass of water or not. I played save with the options of the menu since I had hard to identify what was in the dishes. I got the hamburger that was good but a bit salty for my taste.

Big portions, really good food. A bit pricy for lunch. 125 sek.

Awesome lunch

Clearly catering to tourists. Not bad, not great, slightly overpriced. Good starters! Otherwise, stay on the safe parts of the menu and youll be happier.

Stopped in with kids which is usually a challenge but the staff helped to make it easy. I would have given 4 stars but the French fries were so bad. Homemade humus, great steaks etc etc why serve such bad french fries?

I am sure they are a great restaurant, staff seemed friendly, but they don’t allow dogs in the outdoor seating area so we had to pass.

What a place and what a Rollercoaster of experiences.The food is excellent. That much is clear and it is hard to chose between 3 and 4 stars here. Maybe chose yourself after our story: family of 4. Two 11 and 7 year old girls. Place is crowded at dinner time (8ishand has a garden café atmosphere with nice linen and good table decoration. Dish names and selection is not too big, pretty high priced, but sounds very appealing. We go for 1 starter and ask that kids get their food, too, when starters come. Starter comes and it is amazing, but it takes another 45 minutes before - after me complaining about it- the main dishes come. They are amazing, but we are disappointed and it is late (9.30). Kids are tired and their food was not really good.HOWEVER, the head of service comes to our table and apologizes believably saying that the restaurant will not charge any of our food and that she hopes we give them another chance!We are here for one more day and right away book a table because of the real nice gesture and the excellent food.Next day we get a very nice table in the conservatory like terrace and food and wine are excellent (avoiding the kids dish with sausage from the day before). Service has to be asked to take away plates and it feels understaffed.Summary: if you are unlucky it takes a long time to get excellent food, but then you get an (almostfree second chance.

As a pretty famous Twitch Streamer only the best food suits me that why you should visit Gröna Stugan, they have the best food in whole of Kalmar!

Very good food and great service!

Fräsch mat men som inte nådde förväntningarna. Jag beställde en råbiff av nöt, den större. Smakmässigt sett så var det en besvikelse och jag har ätit betydligt bättre råbiffar än den jag fick serverad men den var inte osmaklig heller. Jag hade förväntat mig mer av maten här. Till det positiva så var det snyggt upplagt och det såg aptitligt ut. Det tog inte länge heller innan vi fick maten serverat efter det att vi beställt trotts att det var mycket folk vid tillfället. Vi var ett större sällskap och generellt sett så tyckte alla att maten var helt adekvat. Inte prisvärt och medelklassigt men med känsla att de försöker.

Extremely good meat and friendly staff. If you want good food in Kalmar check the place out. A white guide restaurant, and their earned it.

Great location, great entrecote. Always a great choice. Sit in the conservatory if you can.

Excellent service, exquisite food and a great environment. Only complaint was that the seating wasnt the most comfortable.

I highly recommend Grona Stugan. Its an intimate restaurant with the most delicious food. I highly recommend the artichoke and duck soup. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and there was no long waiting time for the arrival of each course. I hope to visit there again in the near future.

Great menu and location but expecting more.I ordered Grilled Tuna which I found not integrated to the rest of the dish. The meal included saffron rice and vegetables. Good wine and the service in general ok. There is a nice atmosphere at the restaurant, would be nice to come back.

The menu might seem a tad standard, but they apply a lot of interesting twists to classic restaurant foods. Recommended!

Ill take a medium rare same as the next guy, but this burger was purple-brown and slimy. Not sure what theyd done to that meat.Regardless of this, it was also unimaginative and way overpriced.Some serious ups and downs on the menu, as a lot of other things are superb.

This years best food for me. Had a lovely "planka" that really hit the spot. Tender and well seasoned meat. 5 stars for food and service.
