If youre new in town and never been here I think this is the ultimate viewing area of the Colorado river, There are plenty of trails and biking trails to take through the area. Lots to see and lots to take pictures of have fun and joy and be safe

Cleanish, a nice stopping point to stretch your legs, use the facilities, and walk any pet you may have with you. A good amount of parking area with plenty of places to walk. A beautiful creek/river (Id call it a riverrushes by. Id reccomend it as a stopping point, even if just for some scenic pics.

This is one of our favorite rests tops. We usually stop here between grand junction and denver.there is a excellent view of the river, about 3 feet away. There is a nice restroom and picnic area. Lots of trees. At a bend in the river.

Beautiful! The rushing water was melodic.

Nice place, very little parking, and unless you can walk or if in a wheel chair and someone is there to help you, it isnt that safe for elderly with disabilities in walking.

We always enjoy stopping here. Beautiful spot right off the 70, and almost level with the Colorado River. Enough walking area to stretch your legs, and a couple places you can walk right down to the water.This last visit all the restroom stalls were out of toilet paper- men and women- but this is the only time that has happened, and the restrooms were still clean.

This spot has great trails, clean bathrooms, and is a great chance to stop & stretch your legs on the road between Grand Junction & Denver without stopping at a convenience store or gas station.

One of the absolute best rest stops along I-70 in Colorado. Miles long walking path right next to the river and mountains on all sides.And..... Its Dog friendly everywhere, allows for overnight parking, has clean restrooms its gorgeous and a must stop and hike kinda place. Stretch your legs and get some amazing views.

Awesome stop to rest and relax after diving all day. They have beautiful scenery here, with a creek and lots of lush trails for walking and biking. This is one of mmt favorite rest areas in the U.S.

It has restroom and a wooden bridge trail for you to walk around. The creek is really nice. Plenty of parking. Good place off the fwy to rest and look at the scenery. Easy off and on freeway. Very nice spot!

Weve used this stop off 3 times now driving thru colorado. We love it so much and cant wait to be back. We see the exit coming up and everyone gets excited!
