Grizzly Bar steaks & burgers - Grill in Saint Petersburg, Russia
Great prime rib and lots of food for the price. Staff was awesome.
Love this place. Going to miss them this winter
Very nice decore and good food with a friendly staff.
I’ve been coming here over 30 years as have never had a less than enjoyable time and delicious meal
Great food and atmosphere. Great service too. Can’t wait to go back.
A great place for dinner and drinks after a Sunday drive. Will definitely be back!
The food is fantastic! Home cut fries, and grade A beef! An Oasis to have a cocktail and visit with friends out in the mountains. A few casino machines also, and Big Buck Hunter for your enjoyment. Patio seating tops of this one-of-a-kind experience! This is a must visit place for fun and food:)
Always a treat! Great food, friendly service. So glad the June flooding didnt keep you down. Looking forward to several visits yet this Summer with family. Thanks to all!
This place was slammed when my group arrived. They still managed to seat us quickly. The server was very apologetic about things taking a long time, but they took orders and had drinks out very quickly. Our food did take a while to arrive, but once again, the place was busy and there were several steaks being ordered. The food was very tasty and they had a good selection of local beers. I felt bad for the servers as they had obviously been dealing with lots of terrible customers. As customers, we need to have some patience and give the staff a little more respect. The only negative was my gf bun was really hard... but they had a glue free option so Im still happy.
The drive there was beautiful, the place was unique, surprisingly nice, and the help was local and friendly. The stories of the recent flooding along with the restaurants continuing to stay open speaks to Montanans grit. The food was good, the choices included basic to elegant. Being so out of the way tho made it better.
They were up and running quickly after the floods. Head up and enjoy the scenery and then a great hamburger, or better yet, splurge on a juicy tender steak
Not sure of the status of the bar currently. But I spend a lot of time eating here as a child growing up. Its a piece of History.
Steak was over cooked. Service was average at best. When we let our server know about the over done steak, she said sorry and basically walked away.
Glad after hearing rumors they were not opening this year that they infact did open. Had a great time as always! Cant wait to go back.
Had lunch here after a very picturesque drive from Red Lodge. It was a great stop and the food was satisfying.
Great craft burger and fries. The patty was juicy and tender and thick- all the components of a great burger!Dont miss Grizzly when youre in the neighborhood.
Way over priced. Terrible service. Mediocre food. The waitress forced our group to split, then seated a group of the same size right beside us. She insisted that two tables would be easier to serve, but couldnt even keep our orders straight between the two tables, much less the people at the table.
Very charming place! Best food I have had in Montana, super friendly stuff, amazing steak!

Good food friendly folks
This was a great place in 2016 had a great steak! It’s really slipped since then. Still the high prices but food and service lacking...plus they were openly hostile to my friend wearing a pro Trump hat! Lets keep politics out of dining please!
Until yesterday, this was, by far, my favorite out-of-the-way bar in Montana. But now, Id rather eat a gas station. Since the new owners took over, the food isnt worth eating. Even something as simple as an edible french-fry is too much to expect from this place. Do yourself a favor and keep driving to Absarokee, the Dew Drop Drive-in is 100x better.
Food was great, but if you want to sit outside and enjoy the creek, you have to have your food "to go" and you get to eat your 50 dollar steak out of Styrofoam and plastic utensils. And no the boss wont even let the employees bring you plates. Bring a mask. Even though not a single customer was wearing one as they were sitting at there tables, we were not allowed to sit inside without masks on. Really wish this was ran by the old owners still.
We arrived and gave our name to both of the two young ladies working. There were two empty tables at that time, recently vacated and cleaned. After 30 minutes of waiting we left, still unseated. Prices looked high for what others had on their plates. Heard great things but the front of the house was very disorganized. Hope you have better luck.
Food was really good. An absolute must stop if you are anywhere in the area.
The grizzly bar is worth any amount of drive. Nice folks, good drinks in some of the prettiest country around
A laid back atmosphere where you can have a beverage of choice and a angus steak your sure to tell someone about...! I have never gone wrong ordering a steak and you have your choice of sides. Also, you cant hardly not feel the mystic of the old west as the locals are saddled and bellied up to the bar, situated off from the dining room, sharing their western stories with cowboy flare they weaved all on their own....It might seem like a distance to travel to eat but, the food seems to support the thought that it was worth the drive and it is a relaxing no stress one too.
Ive eaten here several times and always enjoy it. The jalapeno poppers are worth getting. The steak medallions are excellent, covered in mushrooms, sauteed onions and blue cheese and cooked to perfection. The chocolate cake is oh so good and last time had a touch of raspberry in the sauce.Comfortable seating, low noise level, good service and clean bathrooms.
Wonderful discovery in the middle of near wilderness on our way to a hike in the Beartooths. The charm of the place is equaled by the service of the owner and the delicious offerings of the menu. A really homie cabin vibe with a large fireplace. I had the chicken tenders with onion rings. The tenders were large and handmade with perfectly cooked batter and moist to the bite. The onion rings were crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and literally melt in your mouth. Not the kind where the onion comes out of the crust on first bite. We washed our lunch down with good beer, and went on our way. Id imagine they do a delicious steak. Might have to try one on our next trip by.
A group of 12 of us showed up on a Saturday to an already crowded Grizzly Bar. No worries though. They seated us within 10 minutes and Alexis did an amazing job taking care of us and all the other folks in the restaurant. Three decades of coming here and the food is always the epitome of Montana!
We were looking for a great little bar to check out on out trip. Found this cool little spot and we had high hopes considering the reviews. Unfortunately the place was less than ok... The steaks looked great, we chose the uneventful burgers. Well figure out a different spot next time through.
Grizzly Bar was recommended to us as a "Must Stop" after a recent Camping/Hiking Trip in the Beartooth Mountains. The burgers really were excellent. Our waitress did a great job serving a larger group.Cost was the only factor that made me catch my breath. We did not realize how expensive a place it was. If I had known that going in, I probably would have eaten elsewhere. But, they are in a tiny town an hour from almost anywhere else, so I imagine it costs more to bring food in. The quality and flavor was great. It also has a good atmosphere.
Pleasant atmosphere, nice menu with a nice variety of options. The wait staff were friendly, but the kitchen seemed slow in getting out the orders.Wide selection of microbrews available.Would go back again.
Stop here every time I am in Red Lodge. Great food, great drive to get there and good service.
The best beef steaks we have ever eaten, not to mention a complete meal served by a very good server, named Ms. OShea. No one can duplicate the Grizzly! Delicious!
One of the finest steak. A bit remote. But a must visit when visiting yellowstone national park. The place is very pleasant.
Steak was fine, not great Salad was good. Baked potatoes were an appropriate size, but not hot. There were no tablecloths, so at least they werent dirty, but without tablecloths, it felt more like a cafe than a nice restaurant. It was fine, just not a great value. We will probably go back because options are limited in that area.
Delicious meal at a reasonable price and with a great atmosphere.
My husband and I ate here twice while staying at a cabin in Nye. The first time we both had filets (with grizzly ruband they we dang near the best weve ever had! The second time, I had chicken and my husband had salmon. His salmon was dry and overcooked. Veggies were a bit undercooked both times. We had cheese curds and onion rings for appetizers and those were really good as well. Overall, we think its a good place to eat and may even go back once more (for steak!before we leave!
Great place but need sweet & low for tea or Coke products. I ended up drinking water
This used to be my favorite place to eat on a Montana trip. A few years ago it went up for sale and the food quality hit the floor and seems to slip YoY. The French Dip went from shaved prime rib to something resembling "SteakUms". The beer is still cold I guess...
My brother and I came out tonight around 5:30. We had incredible prime rib and halibut. The atmosphere, the service, the delicious food and magnificent service made for the most enjoyable evening. Thank you!
Will not be back nor recommend to eat there. Drove out of my way to eat there. They would not let us eat outside. They no longer have covered patio. Ordered it to go because we had dog with us. Did not get what I ordered, food was greasy, took forever to get the order and they were not busy, did not get itemized bill to see what I actually paid for, waitress was abrupt in her demeanor. My suggestion is to drive thru the town (its quaint), but better off eating in Red Lodge, or another small town along the way.
The BEST steaks and landlocked SEAFOOD! You will have a great time and enjoy a fantastic meal. Service is amazing and dont forget to thank your Eric, your cook . Good wine selection too...
Food was awful for what we paid. One side of my steak was charred and the other side was barely touched. No flavor. Prime rib was over cooked and also had no flavor. Service and water was good.
We showed up with a group of 15. They quickly seated us, got our drinks, and served us. The meals were all amazing, well prepared, and done so quickly with smiles and laughter. Thank you.
I live here and they used to be a great place to eat. Our friends had the Petite Sirloins and they were so petite it was silly, and they were well done. But the thing that really bugs me is every time we go in the table cloths are so filthy! There is food dried on the outside where you sit, so I know they arent laundered on a regular basis. And the cloths are too big so you get caught on them. Also the table we were at had a huge chip in it and was taped over. Good grief.
We ate at the Grizzly years ago and had a good experience so we decided to take our family from Texas for a nice drive and a good Montana steak. The drive was beautiful, but I was embarrassed at the Grizzlys attempt at cooking a steak properly. We ordered our meat done medium and all steaks were done well. I didnt say anything at the table so as not to make our company feel uncomfortable. It took a very long time for our meal to arrive. so I didnt ask for another steak, it was getting late. Stress the level of doneness when you order!!
Awesome place! Melt in your mouth burgers with fresh, homemade toppings. Hand-cut fries, too! I highly recommend the Roscoe burger. Service was great- waitress was friendly. Definitely worth the scenic drive! Just make sure you take the turn into town, or youll miss this little gem of a place!
Worst prime rib I have ever eaten. Worst piece of meat I have ever eaten.Went there for Sunday lunch and got a piece of meat that tasted old and reheated. Seriously, it was reheated prime rib. Ordered med, got a dry gray overdone mess. Complained to waitress who was nice about it, told cook but the complaint was then ignored. They should be ashamed to charge $30 for leftovers. Have been going there a few times a year for 20 years. Never again. Will do my best to steer people away from them from now on. Only negative review I have ever left.
