Grill and Thrill Family Restaurant - Restaurant in Tra Li, Ireland
Reasonably priced panini, sandwiches and wraps for lunch .
We got two wraps on the way to Kerry cliffs because we knew we’d get nothing halal nearby and they were absolutely delicious. Recommended
Excellent service. Very tasty food.
I’m so sorry but 2 out of 3 of our dishes were nearly inedible. specifically the butter tikka chicken and the vegetable korma. both were bitty and strange and nothing like other Indian curries we’ve ever had
Very delicious food and the prices were adequate. The employees were very friendly🥰 The shawarma was so yummy and the burgers too🌯🍔I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. And it’s also a very good choice for muslims as it is halal☺️☪️
Best restaurant Ive been to in ages. Staff is lovely and food is delicious and well prepared. Beverages are also amazing and I only have good things to say about this restaurant. It also has really cool presentation for some dishes! I dined with my family and another and we all left happy and full
Great selection of foods very good value for money.
Plus: wide variety of dishes.Minus: tricky for vegetarians, not to speak of vegans.Music was too loud.Cakes and smoothies were delicious, although quite pricy.
I get my daughter a bubble tea every weekend from froyo land and its excellent my daughter loves it. A new bubble tea section in grill and trill opened so we said we would try it, she order a London fog I believe it was called, when I saw what they handed her my sceptical feelers shot up, she let me taste it, no joke this was literally milk, water and cut up blackcurrant jellies served in a cup for €6.75,it was disgusting, the look of disappointment on my daughters face was obvious but she was pretending it was OK, I asked her if she wanted to bin it and go to froyo land and she didnt even think twice about it, what an absolute scam, milk water and cut up jellies is not bubble tea. And the fact they had a song about cannibus playing in the restaurant when its supposed to be a family friendly establishment is another complaint I have, children shouldnt be hear about passing dutchie to the left while sipping their "bubble tea" stay well away unless you want to get scammed
Best kebab i had for long time
If i could i put no star at all, fish burned from box from the freezer(cheap one)lamb with rice was shocking, tasteless rice with few pices of meat,we ordered naan bread and they gave us garlic bread from the freezer, they have a different prices outside and inside, stay away from them!!!
Staff were happy to see us but not all that welcoming or chatty.Prices were reasonable and had a good choice on the menu.We were showed to our table in a very dark booth in the back corner of the room.Ordering was fine, waiter came down to take our order nice and quick but the food took ages to come out.My husband ordered a chicken burger that looked and tasted like it came straight out of a freezer packaged box. I had the tikka masala which was very bland.Staff never once came to us to see how we were or if we needed anything else nor did they acknowledged/speak to us in our way out.
Amazing customer service, extremely kind. When they helped us with menu everything they said made perfect sense. definetly deserves five stars.
Clean, friendly, reasonable prices and the food was OK 😊
Great food and service, highly recommend this place.
Absolutely fantastic food well worth a visit
Might be the best kebab in Ireland! Great food, lovely decorations, very friendly staff.. might have been the first time that the chef asked me if I like the food! Really fantastic service and fairly priced.
I was impressed with food quality, quantity and presentation.. wasnt expecting that delicious halal food on this part of Ireland
We are visiting from USA and looking for Halal food. We didn’t expect much being in SW Ireland however we came across this restaurant which sells Halal Food. The owner is Pakistani and is a super nice people. The lady was very sweet and even took our order as we were getting late to get there during closing time.Their sizzling chicken and Tarka Daal was the best and a must with Naan!!!Burgers are also good.Words can’t describe how tasty the food was. Very well done! Would highly recommend anyone to try it. Best halal food in this area!
We had dinner here twice on consecutive days. Great Halal Food with Pleasant Ambiance. The taste is very Good (Near to DesiUnlike others at large. Highly Recommended
Very excellent India cuisine.
Fabulous food. Staff are very friendly.
The food was so fresh and tasty. The samosas and nan breads and curries are gorgeous. The freshness of spices will envelop your senses.
Delicious dishes 👌Nice service✌️ I will come back there for sure. 🙂 I recommend👍
We waited almost an hour for a lentil curry (it was originally spinach curry, but after about twenty minutes of waiting already, I was told they were outand a "kebab"—it was just cut up meats, could have passed for some sort of dog food. No bread or lettuce with. The curry was too salty and oily, and the kebab upset my cousins stomach, so after waiting so long, it was rather disappointing.I leave two and not one star because the waiting staff tried their best.
Only recently discovered this gem. When we walk into the place, it is guaranteed that we will see a smiling face and be genuinely welcomed. Warm and comforting atmosphere, staff are absolute angels and the food is amazing!
Great people, really enjoyed the dinner.Especially the owner Irfan, such a lovely person. Highly Recommended!
Excellent, well worth visiting. Great meal and family friendly. Delighted we stopped here - nice find in Tralee for an evening meal.
We ordered chicken kebabs and chips, the meat was delicious, generous amount of salad as well, tasty fries with loads of garlic sauce, naan complemented the dish perfectly. Thanks 🙂
Today I ordered from this restaurant for the very first time, I ordered peri peri chicken and I am thrilled to have it...omg I hadnt had peri peri in ages and I enjoyed it alot..authentic and yummy..I usually dont have good experience from Indian resturant but to be honest I wanted to give it a try and I am happy my money didnt go wasted like before ..looking forward to order Indian cuisines as well..;)
Food was delicious and the customer service was outstanding. Would visit again.
Absolutely beautiful food and staff were so helpful and friendly. My 3 kids said it was their most favourite meal ever! Well be back!
Great place for a family meal. Kids loved the food there and the staff were very friendly.
I ordered shami kebab meals for myself and my family.. I cannot believe this is the most worst food experience I have ever been through.. Is was absolutely taste less and the price was ridiculously high I mean 50 for 4 kebabs is too much and no taste at all in return which is why I am never going to order from this place ever again... This is my honest review so be careful when u order from here.. I dont recommend and I had to give 1 star which I would definitely not but if I didnt iI wont be able to give a review then... 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Great food, especially currys, kebab platter, worth to try. Burgers probably the best in the town.Great service too.
I ordered "plate for 2" and it was perfect. The food was amazing, fresh and more than enough for two.Very good value! Definitely i would came back.
Fantastic little gem, was very surprised by the quality of food and the quantity, will definitely be going back! It was also very reasonably priced
A huge surprise.Food was amazing. Great service and huge quantity.. definately coming back and would recommend.. cant go wrong
The curry and naan bread were both very nice to be fair. The rice had a strong tang that I never encountered before nor since and it wasnt good. The service was friendly.
The lady who served us was friendly and very nice . The food was just amazing . Will definitely be back again. Thank you.
WOW!! Highly recommended! Looks unassumming from the outside but boy does the food do all the talking. Tastebud explosion in ones mouth. Everything ordered was on point. Platter for 2 - amazing! But the star of the show had to be the Chicken Tikka Pardesi it is SUBLIME!!!!!! With the Peshawari Naan, absolute heaven. Went to the back of premises, with the food, music and atmosphere, felt like being on holiday. The two girls serving were so lovely. I actually rate the food in this establisment as one of the best plates of food ive eaten in Tralee. It did not disappoint!!
Food was amazing. I had peri chicken wings for starters and the sauce was so good. I had the mixed kebab for mains, and I loved that it came with rice (you have an option between bread and rice). The sauce served with the kebab was amazing. I didnt finish eating my food, but the waitress had no problem with me taking it home. The waitresses were friendly and welcoming. The menu was slightly confusing, but the waitress had no problem explaining it.
Great value for money. Food was gorgeous & great coffee. Staff member was lovely. Didnt catch her name but she was so friendly.
Had to wait for half an hour for fish and chips to go although we were promised it to take 10 minutes and there were no other customers.Food was good and a lot, so satisfying for that price.
What a lovely way to spend a family evening!! The food here is just fab and the staff are outstanding💕
Fantastic food, with great portions and a wide range of dishes. The staff were really nice and so accommodating, I cant praise them enough. Its a really good place and we will definitely be going again.
Ive traveled all the world and this must have been one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had in my life. It started with a greasy table, a dirty menu and then they gave me a dirty cup. After politely asking for a new one, next thing we got was dirty plates. Asked for new ones, got them, but the chef wasnt happy about it (he had to clean them for some reason), since it disturbed him from flirting with the waitresses and throwing water bottles through the open kitchen. Weve ordered the Chicken Tandoori and the meat was actually very good, but partially burned. The extra Naan weve ordered smelled and tasted like soap (my wife didnt agree on that one, she said it was okand the onions on the Chicken Tandoori Plate were also burned. Not a little, but like dark black burned. Never seen anything like that before. Service was also a catastrophe. The restaurant was not busy at all, but I still had to go to the front bar and ask for the bill. When the waitress asked us how the food was and I answered: "Look at this mess" pointing to the burned onions, she just laughed. That was it. I left the smallest tip of my life (2 Euroand we got out of there. Unbelievably bad experience.
At first glance youd think this is just a classic kebab place but it has so much more to offer.. Cant wait to try out the new menu with an impressive range of authentic curries! The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and makes you feel at home.. a great experience all-round whether its for 1, couples or family reunions! Check out the new restaurant in town before it gets packed!
Good variety of food with lovely staff. Can not wait to try their new curry options. The restaurant is tastefully decorated. Will always be back.
