Amazing lamb steak and perfect beef shashlik. Great atmosphere, interesting restaurant decoration. Definitely worth to see visiting Lviv.

Ohh my god, this place is amazing. Hidden inside the fort, a bit tricky to find. Just walk through the old church grounds.The grilled trout is to die for and the fillet steak is better than you could ever find.Not to mention a fantastic environment and super cheap prices. A place well worth finding. Find it and Thank me later!?!!!

The most worst place speaking about waiters and how they treat customers, we came in, we have been waiting for more than 20 mins, we called the waiter 2 times, no one cares, when I stood searching someone to explain the situation, the waiter told me that he does not speak English, really strange, I don’t know how you guys got 15k reviews!!!

Great relaxed atmosphere. The meat was over cooked and dry especially the chicken but good seasoning. The pickles salad was good though. Service is okay.

Everything was good, themed restaurant with show! You definitely gonna catch some "torture" going on while you eat!The only drawback was that for the price the portions were super small, especially the salads!!!

A great, tasty and different medieval meal experience. The place was full and a there was a bit long waiting line (around 10-20 minsbut the waiting was worth it. We ordered a meat (grilland vegetables platter, baked potatoes, local beer and all was very tasty. Furthermore, the performance (like torture or punishmentwith the executioner and a guest being introduced in a medieval cage was peculiar and fun.

Seasonal vegetables - mushrooms (which I dont like), undercooked pumpkin and celery, so I only ate tomato... everything else was fine

All I can say is, wow. The food here was phenomenal with such good flavor. I had the shashlyk platter and had to take half of it home because it was quite a bit. I also had the baked potato with cracklings. For drinks I had Gallicia juice (my favoriteand shots of Nemiroff Honey Pepper Deluxe and one their signature shots "Off with the Head. Definitely a must-have while in Lviv.

Great Place when it comes to Meat. You might have to wait a few Minutes to get seated but its worth the Time. I really liked the cozy atmosphere. They have a fantastic Charcoal BBQ Grill. I loved the Schaschlik Meat Plate. Soft snd tender Meat. I reccomend their very tasty Craftbeer!I would go here again anytime.

I have very nice ribeye steak with packed potatoes and salad .I like it very much.The staff very kind and smiling.I enjoyed this experience here delicious dinner

The atmosphere is of medieval settings with baroque music. The service is speedy. I ordered the large meat platter. Very tasty.

Perfect place to have dinner with family or friends company. Authentical atmosphere, smell of meat! There is a lot of punishing tools at this place! PUNISHER can put you into the cage and throw you in dungeon! Its the place you MUST VISIT in Lviv.

What a place a must go!Food was really good, maybe the best grilled meat that Ive ever had, staff polite and capable of speaking a very good English.Nice also the little entertainment show in the cage....

Great place for some meat! Vegetarians nightmare. English menus are available, we ordered the chicken and beef shashlik with the turkey salad (picturedand it was enough for 2 people to eat! Kebabs where massive. Juicy and delicious deffinetly a must try

This is a great place to relax and eat in the company of friends in the open air under the trees.The meat we ate was delicious and cooked perfect!Despite the fact that the restaurant was full of people service was fast and decent.Highly recommend this place!

Awesome place to spend some time with family or friends and have a good lunch or dinner! The food is delicious and the prices are friendly. We tried shishkabob, sausages and fish, and all our food was yammi, fresh and tasty. Our waitress was a nice man, polite and very helpful with all the questions.

It was excellent ! Good food and good service. I recomend that place. Only thing its a little bit hard to find it but after its good. Beer is good, outside seating is also good. Its good place to have good time. They also finished with a gift at the end and they have reward card.

Top notch in both style, food and atmosphere. However, a big t-bone is two steaks! The grilled vegetables is about the best garnish you can get in Lviv. And, the have local wines by the glass. I recommend the Odessa black.However, sitting outside we were refused to use the power outlet to charge our phone! There were 4 free outlets and locals were using it.

Ordered the mixed shashlik and was a little disappointed with the taste. Not BBQ grilled enough in flavour and lack of any marinade or seasoning. Good place to come for the theatre and great service. Sides were average too.

I would say that meat is good quality but not something extremely outstanding. But I would not wait again in a queue as we had to for 20 min in quite a cold weather. I would say that the show they demonstrate is something that is standing out. Always quite packed with people and quite little space to sit

This restaurant has a theme of torture devices and Chambers. Prison style toilets. WiFi available. This place is a non smoker establishment. Known for their large assortment of quality meats. Grilled to perfection for almost little cost as is the norm for Lviv. Great staff and allowed us to order food before closing. Toilets are not separated, however there are lockable stalls.

Beautiful place with very delicious meat and beer. Also tourists can experience some sort of medieval torture - a hangman pulls down the metal cage under the floor. In the ancient times all debtors were punished like this.

We are here to celebrate an anniversary. We went here before and happend to get the same great server as last time whom expertly advised us on what to eat and drink. I know nothing of wine and the one he advised was really great. The meat was amazing, just like last time. Will come back again for sure!

Delicious meat restaurant with reasonable prices. You need to wait for a while to get a table but its worth the waiting.

The place is really interesting. While we were eating staff was showing one type of torturing (outside, in the yard). Although it has no vegetarian/vegan option at all. The food is delicious here. The prices are really low. There are tables outdoors on the terrace too. The queue wasn’t too long. The place is designed so that you leave as soon as you had your food (furniture is not comfortable to chill). Excellent 4/5.

Expensive tourist trap. Food is good, but overpriced for the area. Took a long time for the food to come out, even the beer. Beer was not cold. Prices are close to USA. Better value elsewhere.

In Lviv almost every restaurant has its own theme, and so this restaurant has as its theme executioner of Lviv theme, the theme is nothing special the restaurant has inside a few ornaments to show how in the middle ages they used to torture people and on the menu card there are a few pictures of torture devices, but now over to the food. We ordered with four of us a t-bone steak, and baked potatoes. The food was amazing really good steak and potatoes where with the included sauce super tasty. If you also take a t bone dont take it more than medium cause you will miss out on something great..

I really liked the interior design. They really did a fantastic job. Also they had a gillotin that they put in a big show to chop a slab of ham. It was quite fun.The food was okay. Not great. It wasnt cheap and really not worth the money. It was a little too dry. It was beyond well done. Well done plus drying it seems like.And now to the reason why I gave it a 1 instead of a 3.I have travelled to at this point 38 countries. Some 500 cities/towns. I have been to over 2000 restaurants. And NEVER was I once told to go stand outside and wait in the rain and the cold. NEVER was I ever so rudely placed in a situation that merited a 1. It was raining outside, and the wind was howling. There was ample space inside and there was no point to rudely tell costumers to wait in the rain.That is NEVER acceptable in restaurants across in any country. I have never felt compelled to point out any particular staff for any actions they make ( good or badbut this place is again the first staff that was just so exceedingly rude.Keep in mind I have been to over 2000 restaurant and possibly accumulatively been waited on by over 10,000 staff. This one place, managed to tip the scale for me.I would suggest to simply take a look at the restaurant as it is indeed fun. But the dry food is not worth the expenses let alone the seriously questionable behavior of the chief waiter.While I can understand that the theme of the house is torture. I also know restaurant ettique well enough from having worked in restaurants and ate at a lot of them to know that this behavior is not acceptable.I am a paramedical personnel and waiting in the rain and cold is never an acceptable substitute for space. They either need to provide ample shelter or simply state they are full and can not wait on more people. Pointing outside and telling people to go wait in the rain is never an acceptable answer.( We were able to leave. But a table opened up. We already made the trip to eat here so in all honesty it was polite to let them redeem themselves. Something that was not accomplished. He merely shrugged and said sorry and frankly didnt give a damn)

Great steaks! Quick service, vaiters speak in english as well. Must try Bagroshch soup (if you love meatalso beef salad were amazing. Lovely interior , casual shows, showing out the torture devices of which this restaurant is full of as the main theme of it is - medieval torture devices. Would have to recommend for all meat lovers .

Overall was a good meal, steaks were not prepared as ordered though. Cool atmosphere and vibe, would probably eat here again.

I am strongly disappointed. Steak was just piece of meat without salt and pepper, on the other hand shashlik and plate of meat was salty as hell. Sauces were very poor. Second star is for climate.

Nick-named the "torture chamber" because of its interesting decor, but in my opinion because the the portions are so large you want to keep eating. This is a lively and crowded place that is very hard to find, as it is tucked into a dead-end corner of medieval-style walls. The meal portions are quite enormous; a plate full of meat arrived, which I thought was to share, but it turned out everyone in our party got his/her own platter. Interesting interior theme and neat to see and hear the meat sizzling over an open grill.

Bloody good food. Large portions even for adult man. Quick service. Properly done steaks. Cheap alcohol. Usually crowdy. Unusual location (inside walls of medieval castle). Full dinner with liqueur and beer < 25 USD

Its a themed restaurant that basically only serves variations of meat. As some have mentioned, you cant book a table in advance, but in return the service is good and quick. We sat by the windows which are very drafty by design to allow for good ventilation considering the big grill. But if its cold out you might want to avoid thatI feel like its too cliché for me to come back, but i had fun so who am I to judge.

Controversial experience.From one side is atmospheric, cozy, steak house.Big size steaks, original interior and exterior. Good for companies.From other side:- they not actually good in steaks. They have hosper, have grill, but in the results not be sure that youre received exactly the steak you ordered. Ask for middle - get rare.I Maybe because of the meet size (to big). In the result meet taste is good, but we asked to fried it, coz it was to rare.And the portion of the grilled vegetables is too small. Really small.As for experience Lviv is one of the must visiting place, but not expecting much from the food.
