Grey - Restaurant in Vilnius, Lithuania
Visited Grey and had wonderful experience.Interior is nice any cosy from the window you can look at Vilnius cathedral square. We have ordered side dish, starter and couple of mains. Side dish was super tasty 4 different cheese balls each tasting a bit different and the portion sizes are huge.Fried bread is probably the best in town and portion size is massiveFor starters we ordered beef chili soup. Once again great tasting dish not to spicy you can taste all the elements of the dish vegetables are crunchy and meat is tender.First main was beef steak. Matured steak was cooked to perfection nice juicy medium rare. Vegetables were also delicious the only thing I would change is the sauce its to sweet for this dish. It would be better to have peppercorns sauce or another steak friendly sauce.Second dish was salmon. Nice presentation sauce works perfectly and it had that Asian vibe with perfectly cooked rice.Overall great experience would definitely recommend this place for nice evening meal.
Great food, nice service, perfect dinner..
Very delicious, nice atmosphere for lunch. Price/Quality 5/5. Staff was friendly
Nice and friendly staff. Very good lunch menu. Value for money. Vibrant place.
Very nice Lithuanian restaurant with in and outdoor seating. We sat outdoors, which was a mistake because most others outdoors were smoking. Food was excellent. I had traditional dumplings with pork belly salsa, very good. Wife had salmon, which she loved. Good local beer.
Awesome view, delicious food and great prices. Totally recommended. Nice place to watch sunset, have a snack or try some traditional courses.
The service was lovely, and we should’ve listened to the waiter, we did order too much food. Note that the dumplings are huge.
Excellent service and great food! We ate in two rounds and food was brought on time. Whole evening was feeling that they care about us. Very, very tasty and big portions I would like to definitely return here❤️ 10/10
A nice surprise, as the restaurant looks a bit like a club (there was even a party upstairsbut they have very good food. Dark bread with herring is a masterpiece, my favorite. Excellent taste. I could eat it every day. Also potato pancakes with salmon, very very delicious. Simple, but the high quality of the ingredients makes you want more. Ah, the lemonade is also great. I definitely recommend!
Lovely restaurant in a very central location within the old town. Visited as part of a large group late on and had great service and a good choice of food and drinks. The food was cooked perfectly and everyone in our group of 8 had clean plates at the end.
Decided to rate this five stars for the friendly and efficient service. Tried the Lithuanian dish of potato meat dumplings - Cepelinai - with sour cream and pork belly salsa, at the very eager suggestion of the waiter. Too rich for my taste, but had to sample a local dish. Very large portion for lunch. A little too doughy, but not as glutinous as some of the other versions that fellow traveler sampled up the street. Wonderful ice cream and fresh fruit dessert treat. Sampled a local beer.
A secret gem hiding in plain view. Creative dishes, impeccable presentation, amazing taste and great service. In addition to all this, Grey is located in a beautiful historic building with exposed brickwork. Our large group covered most of the menu - everyone was happy with their choices.
Amazing restaurant, superb staff. I wanted to taste some lithuanian food and I got what I wanted. Something to remember: portions are very big and I just couldnt finish them all.The Greys lemonades are amazing, feels like home made lemonades, even the 1L jug was not enough for me.
Good food, local specialities. Reasonably priced and maybe the best spot in the city to have an outside seat. I still have a crush on the very lovely waitress 😍
It would seem that a place is made to lure tourists who dont know any better, but actually its quite reasonable modern Italian restaurant with several litho cusine must haves. Slow cooked Beef cheeks are excellent.
Not recommended for vegetarians/vegans. The food is pricey and really bland and boring. No special plant based proteins or anything, just a bunch of beans. The customer service was good, but the food is really not that great. But when considering how few vegan options there are for dinner restaurants in Vilnius, this might be an only choice to go to.
Nice place to have a beer and some food. I came here twice during my trip to Vilnius and also tried the local cold beetroot soup, which was very tasty and beautifully presented. Staff was really friendly, too 😊
Really nice place! The food is great and even the dishes that you might be used to will have a Grey twist on them. I really love this place. Its rather fancy but still quite affordable. Its this middle of the road place fit for a date as well as a family reunion. The menu has a respectable amount of choices for everyone and the vegan/vegetarian options are great. The drinks menu contains all the usual suspects as well as some homemade lemonade and popcorn iced coffee! Definitely visit Grey when in Vilnius. Its in a great location and the staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Theres a ton of space, but in really really high season you might need a reservation.
Our favorite place. Delicious food (except shrimp tempuraand good cocktails.
Wonderful place with nice view and good beer. The Staff was great, espacialy Manager Naglis, who was very friendly and kind to us. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to enjoy time in Vilnius.
The salad was pretty decent and flavourful but honestly, I felt that it was overpriced. It has been spread across to make it look more substantial. The place was busy, with lots of staff however, the staff struggled to be attentive and I am unsure if this was because it was busy or this was the norm. All in all you can get much better value and service elsewhere.
Great location. Thanks to the rain we got to see the lovely and cozy interior! Our waitress was extremely friendly! Good selection beers and the appetisers we had were also good. Would recommend!
Awesome service!Classic soup - TomYum soup is perfect! A lot of seafood! You must visit, for sure!
Amazing late night meal. Kitchen was closed and they took pity on us and made us food. That’s next level service. The fried rye bread is a huge portion so beware. It went really well with the refreshing cold beetroot soup. Also we tried herring which was nice and fresh and the potato pancake with meat. All washed down with local beer. Would definitely recommend this place!Amazing service.
Commendable service at Grey. Was greeted immediately and seated quickly during a busy night. The waiter was very helpful in sorting through the sizable menu and the food tasted good. Beef soup was quite unique and the potato pancakes were well received.
One of the finest fusion restaurants in Europe and definitely the top tier in Vilnius. The menu is very diverse and unique in every aspect. The food, presentation and ambience is top notch. There are several dishes for vegetarians and vegans and this makes the place suitable for a diverse set of crowd. A must visit when visiting Vilnius with friends or family. The price for two starters, two main course and couple of drinks should be in the range of EUR 80.
Cool places with nice menu and quick service
Really tasty food. Nice atmosphere and great waiter
Nice food yet highly unpleasant midday music outdoors. Not an issue of different taste, just loud. Having dessert in nearby coffee shop unpleasant due to the music.
The staff is awesome and they were making jokes with us making us laugh! The food was so tasty and the drinks were amazing! The Sangria is a must to try here!
This was a very nice and beautiful place in Vilnius. We were a big table. The cheese snacks were wonderful and then I had the salmon fillet, which was also very nice.

In the heart of the city, in a spacious place, with good service, you can enjoy your drink while tasting various delicacies from the wide menu, accompanied by the castle view. Also, when you visit Grey in nice weather, you can have a table in the street and relax.Shrimp tempura is strongly advised.
I popped in for lunch alone, I was met with really Lovey staff and very big portions of super tasty food!! I was shocked at how cheap it was for such good food!!DO go eat here!!! it was awesome!!EDIT: I went back for dinner with my husband and it was AMAZING!!! The chefs there really know their flavour combinations. XxxxxThankyou!!! xxxxxx
Today we had an amazing time here in Grey restaurant. The food was amazing. We had Spicy Beef soup - its like chilli soup but has Thailand taste which makes this soup taste very good. We also had Beef ribs with blueberries. The portions are very satisfying. The staff are polite and very helpful especially waiters. I recommend the place and the food. Seems like the chef has a good taste.
Great dining experience. Loved the vibe and musi choice! Food was also delicious!
Very tasty & creative food, excellent service (casual yet professionaland really nice (interiordesign. I had already been here for lunch but the NYE 2021 dinner party was delicious - in every aspect 😜
Nice interior… Server Ieva was quick and polite… Food… presentation super nice! Even traditional Lithuanian potatoes pancakes looked like… wow dish! If food would have reached the table hot, not warm…. Grey would score six starts!
The food is alright, but the portions are small. I feel like the restaurant is trying very hard to be ‘fancy’
They always have great lunch menu it never disappoints. Staff is usually very kind and polite. Recommended
Great food with plenty of choices.Staff very friendly and welcoming.Great seating arrangements. Outdoor dining. Open plan downstairs with a good vibe. Booths upstairs for more inclusive and private dining. We had a lovely time.Highly recommend Grey.😃
The lunch is fantastic value at 7.5 € for soup, main course and lemonade. Food quality is very high as well, its hard to believe they dont charge more. Staff is attentive, and they location close to the Cathedral and the national museum is very convenient.
Nice outside seating area. They offer not only Lithuanian food but also some international options. The pumpkin and coconut soup was really delicious, and the Indian spices made it a bit of authentic. The smoked salmon on the potato pancake was amazing. Pork ribs tasted also good. Lemonade was super refreshing. The employees were friendly and lovely. Nice place for a good meal or drinks!
Cozy place. Friendly and helpful staff, fast service. Wide variety menu including traditional Lithuanian dishes, fish, pasta, stakes. I was impressed how the mango desert was served: it looked like recently grown cucumber :cute
Very pleasant and welcoming experience at Grey restaurant! This becomes one of my favourite places in Vilnius to eat out. Great staff, always smiling and joking around, helped decide what meals would go along together. The place it self has a lovely design, as the name Grey - the interior is actually well put with grey colour and modern twist to it. Food was amazing, I recommend pasta with mussels, and for sure try out at least couple cocktails, they are delicious!
Loved this place. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. If you are looking for a taste of Lithuania then this is a great place to go. Lots of locals and quite trendy. Food is excellent and great beer and drink selection. A must for am old Town visit highly recommend
Lovely place to eat. We made a pit stop here after a long walk to try some local food. The place is spotless, staff were friendly, The food and beer was great.
Just over the road from the cathedral this restaurant is in a brilliant spot and although I never got round to sampling the food it was a great place for a relaxing drink. Sat outside it can be a bit noisy with the main road and the pedestrian lights constantly beeping, but at least there is plenty to watch as you relax with a drink. Outside there’s loads of seating with umbrellas aiding poor weather situations. The tables are large and despite being outside everywhere is clean. There’s some nice lighting in the evening which adds to the atmosphere. Some parts of the outdoor area are a real nice sun trap in the afternoon so don’t let the large number of umbrellas put you off if you’re looking to catch the rays. The staff are quick to greet on arrival and remained friendly throughout my visit. They are proactive at checking for additional drinks and are also able to recommend options as needed. Prices are brilliant and it was nice enough for me to return a couple a times during my visit to the city.
The food here is really delicious. We ordered Cepelinai and Black Angus steak. The steak was perfect with some grilled vegetables. The cepelinai was also tasty. The prices are quite normal too. Amazing and very modern interiors. The staff are very friendly. Highly recommended.
Good experience of ser menu for 14 EUR, which includes hearty 4 Lithuanian dishes + a beer. All trendy and Nordic style, but the food came not in a right order and a bit rushed, despite resto being empty. The prices outside set menu are way too high
