Grey's Hotel in Brighton

We have just come back from such a lovely stay at Red Brighton Blue in Brighton.Peter & Steve the Owners are both so friendly and welcoming, offering lots of great knowledge on restaurants, bars and places to visit.The hotel is stunning! Set over 5 floors, the building is Victorian and does not disappoint……The interior is beautiful, with a great mix of antique and modern furnishings and luxurious carpets.We stayed in a deluxe king with sea view and it was the cleanest hotel room we have ever stayed in. We were impressed with the wireless charger, amazing TV, comfy beds, gorgeous bathroom and array of treats and snacks.We were suppose to go straight out, however we stayed for two hours, sharing a bottle of red in the room, as I didn’t actually want to leave!The added extras are superb, I’m a huge Ren fan and all of the bathroom products are Ren. The mini fridge was very welcomed, especially after a night out, to have complimentary still water and Elderflower fizz was a lifesaver………. Not to mention the Nespresso machine and snacks, including chocolate, biscuits, hot chocolate, teas and coffees……….To wake up to a sea view was really lovely and we woke up to the most gorgeous sunshine…….We checked out, then I spent another hour playing with Coco the pooch, she is adorable, as friendly as her owners and I wanted to take her home with me!Such a perfect stay, we will definitely be back!!!Thank you for having us Peter & Steve x

Owners Peter and Steve have perfected the provision of supreme hospitable accommodation in a space that is timelessly appointed, immaculately clean, and preferably located.Quality linens, heavenly mattress, plush carpet, sumptuous accoutrements, thoughtful details, strong, hot…..water pressure, and a comprehensive local e-guide- were just few of the special touches that made for an indelible experience that far exceeded my budget’s expectations.For the solo female (or otherwise vulnerabletravelers: Red Brighton Blue is a well secured property in a great neighborhood, with genuinely caring proprietors who are generous with their insight and warm candor. I felt entirely safe, welcomed, and able to relax, be present and enjoy my holiday without worry or inhibition.Thank you for a magic stay.

A lovely, comfortable hotel with a warm, welcoming host. My husband and I came here to celebrate his birthday and had a brilliant stay. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities you could require. Would definitely recommend for a seaside getaway!

Stayed here for 3 nights, its close to the sea In Kemp Town and Brighton is only a short walk away. The owners were great, very helpful and I would definitely recommend it.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable, high-quality fittings, bed linen and towels, everything you need, friendly welcome, easy check-in and out. I had a small single room but it was well designed and made the best use of space. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

I just love staying here when Im in Brighton to visit the University campus for work. It is consistently welcoming and comfortable and feels familiar and safe as a single traveller. We came to Brighton on professional business but were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and well-equipped, and the service and attention second to none. Steve met us at the door and helped us to unload our baggage and carry to our room. The QR code logged us into a comprehensive guide to places to eat and local attractions, and we found ourselves in the midst of a vibrant locality with plenty of friendly and affordable hostelry. Discounted parking permits allowed us both peace of mind and ease of moving around the area. Highly recommended.

First time stay here for myself and my partner. We had a very welcoming reception when we arrived, and we were even offered a room upgrade :How nice is that!We stayed on the top floor. The hotel itself was spotless, and the room was gorgeous. The bed was so comfortable too. There was a selection of teas and coffees, aswell as biscuits and treats :We even had a sea view!We highly recommend to anyone, and we will definitely be back again for sure! Great location. Super comfy rooms with thoughtful details. Friendly hosts who are happy to advise on best places to eat. Breakfast cafes all within few minutes walk. Room at the top is quiet, but no lift so its good cardiovascular exercise to top. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

From the friendly welcome to easy check out my stay was perfect. Lovely clean room with comfy bed I slept like a log.the soft drinks and chocolate was a nice touch. Definitely will stay here again next time Im in Brighton

RBB Hotel is everything we needed. So well done. The rooms are gorgeous! The bed and bedding are very comfortable and high end. We had a stunning room with a large ensuite bathroom and a water view. The bathroom has a large shower and resemble a nice spa. So cute! It is a half block from the beach one way and a half block from the main strip that has many great pubs, cafes and shops. Walking distance from everything including the Palace. Dont skip the Palace. We will be back! The owners are fantastic and truly care that your stay is the best and it shows!

Love, love, love this hotel - 4th time of staying. Airy, spotless, pretty rooms.Ideal location with plenty of places to visit and eat at, within just a 5 -10 minute walk.Will be back to stay again soon.

Beautiful, most tastefully decorated hotel. Absolutely spotlessly clean.The owners could not have been nicer, more helpful or generally welcoming if they tried.We loved our stay.Parking is not easy in this part of Brighton though, but the owners did everything possible to help us find a spot and provided permits so that our car was ok.

Thoroughly recommend this hotel, run by Steve and Peter. Check in and check out was smooth, with Peter recommending a restaurant which was one of our best dining experiences of 2021. The room was spacious with lots of little amenities and the attention to detail was impressive throughout.

Absolutely lovely, was greated at the door with an offer to get my bags (I already had it so not neededchecked in really quick, walked into my room, it was small but perfect, perfect things really do come in small packages !!! The room was lovely and warm, there was a fridge, safe, hanging room everything you would expect and the most fantastic complimentary mug of drinks and not only biscuits but chocolate too, nice big TV which was easy to use, lovely shutters on the windows made it look fantastic. The bathroom is modern and clean and very nice. The key card worked brilliantly on all doors no issues. I really can not fault this establishment in any way, I managed to park right outside (which I think was luckand being able to purchase a parking permit was great !!!

Wonderful b&b in Kemptown, perfectly run by Steve and Peter. Fantastic room with all one needs to be comfortable and happy. Modern shower, very comfortable bed, espresso machine, a little fridge and a view to a lovely courtyard with a water fountain. We loved our stay and well certainly come back. Thank you so much!!!

We stayed here a week ago for a short break away. The owns were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel comfortable and at home. Our room was very clean, tidy and warm, we were offered a selection of treats and tea/coffees in the room.The bathroom was perfect for us and we slept sound not really any noise at all from the street.Would definitely be back again no question asked we really enjoy our stay.

Superb hotel in a excellent location. This bouquet hotel is immaculate, fittings and furnitures are perfection. Steve is incredibly friendly, nothing was too much trouble. He gave us local knowledge of sightseeing, restaurants and cocktail bars, places that we would of otherwise missed.

I had the pleasure of staying here at the weekend. They essentially rescued me with a warm welcome after another hotel room let me down. From the moment I called the service was friendly and personable, almost as if I had called a friend and it was just what I needed after a rough weekend. The service here is authentic, it is an authentic welcome and care for your well-being.The room I was in was a delight. I was in room 11 which I am now going to covet in the future! It was a beautiful comfortable bed, probably one of the most comfortable I have stayed in. The complimentary toiletries and confectionery was well thought out and not overly done. I really appreciated the in room coffee machine and shots!The bathroom was delightful and the selected REN products woke me up and scented my skin for ages.Really, every need and sensation is catered for here. The price is amazingly reasonable for the standard of care, the location and facilitates.

Really lovely place, the owners are super sweet, breakfast is included if you want it, and the rooms are perfect! Room comes with everything you need; a big double bed, kettle, safe, fridge with complimentary drinks, and a big TV that even has YouTube. Will definitely come back here next time we visit Brighton :)

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at Red Brighton Blue. Steve was a wonderful host and answered any questions we had before we arrived about the B&B and the nearby parking availability during our stay. Steve welcomed us when we checked in at reception and provided a map of locals streets where the £10 24 hour parking vouchers were valid and advised us on plenty of options. As we arrived before check in, we were able to drop off our bags to go out for some lunch and they were moved into the room once it was ready. The room was lovely and clean, very well furnished and the bed was incredibly comfy. The TV included Netflix and YouTube applications and was connected to the WiFi, which also worked great on our phones and tablets throughout the stay. The coffee machine included two coffee pods with the option to buy more if wanted. The en-suite overhead shower worked great and was easy to use. The BnB is very well located, just a 15 minute walk to the pier and walking distance from lots of great bars and restaurants. Absolutely hope to stay here again soon and will be recommending to friends and family.

Steve was such a friendly host and the room was immaculate. Great location in the centre of it all and the parking vouchers were a great idea. We will definitely be visiting again 👍

The wonderful couple running this place are absolutely fantastic dudes. I really enjoyed them. The rooms are cute and well equipped. Everything works flawlessly and theres even little additions like a sensor that turns a nightlight on behind the toilet, candies, etc.My only warning is if you are a BIG person, this is a really nice budget room. It doesnt lack for amenities but its small. So for me alone, as a 183cm / 110km fellow, its like JUST big enough. The bed is just long enough, the shore i just make it in, i just fit between the toilet and the sink. Literally just there. So if you are a fatty or a giant, keep that in mind. If not, its really quite wonderful and Id highly recommend.

This has been a long time coming...Apologies guys!I had an absolutely fantastic stay here at the end of February 2020.The house is beautiful and the hosts/owners are great.Breakfast is spot on and the location is ideal.The hotel deserves more stars.Thanks again guys, we will come back when we go Brighton every time.

EXCELLENT……… Stayed for 2 nights in September in a single room on the top floor. Everything you could want in a stay. Super helpful friendly owners, nothing was too much trouble. The whole property was beautifully decorated with sympathetic modern high-tech features. There is attention to details, and I loved the fredo chocolate with the coffee. Location was good with beach and bars and restaurants nearby. Have already recommended this property and would stay again when in Brighton.

Stayed here with my partner last year and still have the warmest memories of our time there. Steve and Peter are amazing, so hospitable, helpful and kind. Our room was wonderful, well thought out and cosy. The overall experience could not be faulted, wed be more than happy to return for future stays- what an absolute gem!

We recently stayed at this hotel we were greeted on our arrival by the 2 hoteliers they were very warm and friendly. They gave us advice on the area. The hotel was immaculate the quality and presentation was prestigious. The room we stayed in was superb it had more than we expected, we had drinks and chocolate in our mini fridge. Great sea views location great, we couldn’t fault it one bit. Would highly recommend this hotel. Well done Peter and Stephen you certainly have got this right x

Felt at home right away with a kind and friendly welcome from Steve. The hotel is warm and welcoming and very clean. Everything you need for a stay in Brighton. Great location. Very close to the pier, and restaurants all around. 5 min drive from the Lanes.

We only stayed one night but I hope I get the opportunity to stay there again. We arrived in Brighton on a cold and windy day, so the warm and friendly atmosphere that we received upon entering the Red Brighton Blue Hotel was just what we needed. We were also immediately upgraded to the King deluxe room, the rooms are large, spotless very comfortable and no detail is overlooked. A freshly cooked breakfast with the best background music a Madonna fan could wish for.

Steven and Peter were very welcoming hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The property was spotlessly clean throughout and our room was a good size with a very comfortable bed. We really felt we got great value for money and would definitely return. It was so lovely my 22 year old daughter wanted to move in!

Red brighton blue was by far the best guest house i have ever stayed in and way better than any hotel ive been to! Pete and steve were very welcoming, very friendly and lovely hosts! I felt so at home and so comfortable! The room was stunning and so clean, and the bathroom was the perfect size and gorgeous decor! The house itself was very clean and well kept and also had a very person centred feel about it! The breakfast was also delicious! Thank you very much for our stay!

Better than a five star hotel. Greeted like old friends by the owners who were so helpful. Breakfast freshly cooked, rooms spotless and very well appointed. Could not fault Red Brighton Blue. An excellent place to stay.

It is really a lovely place. The rooms are clean, modern and on each detail they take care.Directly at your arrival you feel at home and more than welcome.The host Steve is a nice guy. Very friendly and with good recommendations for lunch or other activities. Also the breakfast was delicious. We regret that we stayed only one night in their nice B&B.

Great place to stay. The cleanest hotel you will ever come across and the warmest and friendliest hosts. The rooms are exceptionally equipped with a lot of nice little touches that set them apart from the rest. I honestly cant speak more highly of our three night stay.

Lovely hotel, the owners are fantastic guest that have at their heart your comfort and your fun too. The room was essential but clean and comfortable. Without a doubt one of the best B and Bs we have ever stayed in. My son is only 9 and Everyone couldnt of been friendlier or made us feel more welcome! The rooms were spotless with lots of added touches and breakfast was fresh and different every day. The extra mile Peter and Steve go to makes this a unique and special boutique B and B and I would highly recommend! We will definately be returning ourselves!! Warm welcome, excellent breakfast!Steve and Peter were wonderful warm, welcoming hosts. They were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is really well situated for exploring Brighton. The rooms we had were clean, luxurious and very comfortable. We all slept really well and awoke to a fantastic cooked breakfast by Peter. The range of choice for breakfast was great and Steve happily offered a very tasty off menu vegetarian breakfast choice for me. Our three children were also made to feel welcome and loved everything! All in all a really relaxing stay. We would love to come again

Stayed there for one night on 24/7, & left wishing Id stayed longer.Lovely, warm welcome from Steven. My room was very comfortable, spotless, well-equipped, with the benefit of a fridge with little treats inside, and drinks-making facilities.In spite of being in an old and characterful early 19th century building,the sound insulation was excellent, and I had a very peaceful nights sleep.Breakfast was fantastic- basically - whatever you wanted, cooked however you wanted it - and lots fresh fruits, juices and cereals.Service: absolutely top-notch - friendly, helpful and attentive. Genuinely wanting to give guests a good experience.What more could anyone ask for ?Ill be back!

It was a pleasure to stay at the Red Brighton Blue Hotel. The hotel is very comfortable, well decorated. Steve and Peter are marvelous hostes and they personally guarantee the everything is going smoothly. The breakfast is amazing, a variety of hot options and a good buffet breakfast also. It was a unique and unforgettable experience.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! We didnt want to leave! This best kept secret in Brighton is more than a B&B! Its a home away from home. Steve and Peter treat you like family. The rooms are super clean and modern. Views of the ocean in room 3 are fantastic! Breakfast was delicious! If youre on the fence about which B&B to choose, your search should stop with the Red, Brighton, Blue!!

Steve and Peter have created the perfect modern B&B, light, clean, comfortable, stylish but the USP is their personal touch. Staying at Red Brighton Blue is like stopping over with some old friends who left the city looking for the good life, found it and are happy to share it. Red Brighton Blue is without question one of the top places to stay in a city already blessed with great accommodation; just give them your money and have a wonderful stay!

Lovely place to stay. The luxury of a very good hotel with proper B&B hospitality. Stephen and Peter are very friendly and helpful. I would say it almost feels like staying at a friends house but that wouldnt be fair because I dont have any friends that are so nice and welcoming! Everything spotless and brand new, great facilities. Wonderful breakfast.

This is my favourite hotel and, I look forward to my annual visit with my daughter. Ken n Phil run a great place with themed rooms. Fiona n I use the family suite for our visits, which while not themed is very useful.
