Victorian pub decor is combined with modern flat screen TVs showing sports at this chic sports bar.
Great bar if youre popping in for a quick drink, decor is nice. It can get extremely busy sometimes (especially just after 5pm on weekdaysand it always seems to struggle when this happens - massive queue times, very crowded and difficult to move. Also theyve got an outdoor area with TVs which is nice, but again not much room. Security constantly having to ask people to move so they dont block the pedestrian walkway, but in reality theres just not much space.
DO NOT COME HERE TO WATCH SPORT. They have a dodgy sky box. Picture freezes constantly. The staff are obsessed with turning the sound off and playing music. So after half time you have constantly ask them to put the sound back on. Service is slow. Food is bang average
I had a really enjoyable meal in this busy and buzzy venue. I went on the day after an NFL match in London so it was packed but I was able to book and the table was ready when I arrived and service was prompt. You can order via the app at the table which I like. The food was very tasty and the portions are good for the prices, which are reasonable for the location. Sport is shown all over the bar and you can see a screen from almost every table. I would recommend, probably best enjoyed as a group wanting to watch some sport in a great atmosphere.
I held an event there last night and it was an absolute blast. The General Manager Andrea was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to help make everything run smoothly. I would chose this bar over and over again.
called on the 9th/10 to enquire about American football the girl who was on the phone was extremely uninterested to hear from me bad customer service as a concierge who works near you, I will take you off our list of recommendations for our guests
A good place to meet people after work and the venue is nice and clean. The drinks are nice but it takes a very long time to be served. They need to have more staff for a Friday night.
Was not impressed with this place. Found both the staff and security very rude. Slow service at the bar, and no matter how many times we kept trying to get him to do us the correct drink, never did in the end and kept providing the wrong drink.Worst factor was ordering the last drink at the bar, the bell was rung and in just 4 mins of us sitting down with this round, the security guys were keen to chuck everyone out. Gave us just 3 mins and started trying to force us out despite there still being 23 mins until official close time.Defo not coming back again, would not recommend.
Went to this venue last weekend, it was absolutely amazing! Great service and atmosphere, a girl named Andrea made our experience very special. Great service and amazing team. I definitely recommend it
Large sports bar, just across the street from Victoria station, two floors and outside seating, you can pay £6.50/7 a pint in this place, could be more by now, can get busy on match days
Worst Philly cheats steak sandwhich ever…. It was literally a sub you buy in a Tesco meal deal no meat at all
The staff here were amazing and the drinks are very good. The manager Leo was very cool and friendly and recommended me a tasty drink . Ty , S and Susan were very good bartenders and nya was amazing in service and made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend this place.
Andrea was absolutely amazing, her hospitality skills were second to none. Definitely coming back soon
Wonderful service. Staff was polite and quick. Even though we order food last min for the football we didn’t have to wait long. Special thank you to Andréa. I’ll be back again soon!
I was dying for tap water and i asked my lady to ask the manager if she could have some and she said that the sinks were closed.
One of the best sports pubs in London. Leo the manager was very good and his drinks knowledge was outstanding. I didnt know what to drink and he suggested a cocktail based on what I told him I liked. 10/10. Would definitely recommend
Good sports bar, good service. Went there to watch a Chelsea game and Andrea was just amazing, she explained us how we could order and recommended what she liked on the menu, which was delicious. Will definitely be back
I went to this place last weekend.Amazing service, absolutely love it! Girl name Andrea made this day special for us! Very grateful for your service! And thank you to the rest of the team!<3
Great place to watch some sport. Loads of screens (including decent outdoor viewingand lots of good beers on tap. Cheers to David for sorting us out for the rugby!
Loads of screens, decent food. Make sure you book a table. Awful sound system though, tinny ear-piercing quality and the staff seem to be told just turning it up to maximum is the same as an atmosphere. Bad speakers x full volume is a bad mix. Could do with just lowering it so people can enjoy the game with their mates.
Just ok and nothing more. Went to watch a game advertised on their website but they knew nothing about it. They put it on for us but the sound was switched off when the F1 came on.Food and drinks nothing special and quite expensive.
Went during one of the F1 race, drinks arrived shortly after we ordered but food only arrive after a 30 mins wait (also we did asked the waiters to check twice)
Where to start.....? Other than to say avoid! When we arrived the bar was empty so I could see there was a lot of staff which you would assume is a good thing but, not if they are terrible. Firstly one member of the group ordered and received an alcohol free Heineken. I decided to order the same and was told they dont do that drink? I explained a friend is literally sat drinking it now and they told me they dont do the drink and havent for a while so was given an alternative which I accepted to avoid confrontation. I ordered drinks and food. The food was part of a deal where if you order 5 items the price is lowered. However this only appears to be the case if you tell the cashier this, as he was happy for me to pay the full amount. I then asked for a receipt and realised he actually charged me bar service of £6 for my round. To be clear, I went up to the bar collected the drinks and took them to the table myself. He literally charged me £6 to take my order and what felt wrong was that he didnt mention that, just told me the amount and I pressed my card. Totally dishonest and a cheap was of gaining a few ££. Be very careful there. Further more the general service was terrible throughout. for example, having to interrupt staff having a gossip whilst they can see we are waiting at the bar for service and them rolling their eyes when we do so. Or asking for extra jalapeños with our meal and them saying its fine, before never coming back. Overall a terrible venue and one to be avoided as aside from a nice decor, the place is a scam.
This place was pretty quiet for a mix week lunch time Inn the city.Reasonable selection of beers, but not at all extensive.Ford menu is focused around burgers, subs and a few other options. Caesar salad looked good, but with chicken tubs to £20 which is too much. Chicken burger was good, but there was so much garlic in it; I was not aware until someones later pointed out I smelt heavily of garlic.Service is a bit slow and inattentiveThere are not enough TVs for a sports bar. Where I say the only one I could see was right behind me. They need some over the bar area.
Big real estate for a Sports Bar, I mean spacious floor plan - around a large bar in the center. Silly unnecessary Barber shop wash basin props..!!But mainly there are loads of decently sized television screens for many different angles and tables to be enjoyed. But with the many television location options the venue "lacked a dynamic big match vibe/a together& against supporters vibe" which is important for individuals and groups who usually desires for the sporting occasion to be as thrilling and pumping as possible! They have built stylishly decorated bathrooms but I am not a big fan of the toilets being 3 flights of stairs away from the main bar. Prices on the menu were a slab more than that of a good old pub.a small bottle beer and glass of Aperol Spritz = £17 :/All and all I would return as it seems to be a bit of a busier and better inspired joint than the Hammersmith Belushis chain.
You can apparently book a table for three hours not show up for the first hour and people who actually want to show up and are paying customers can’t even have a seat from an empty 9 person table. I would advise you revisit your booking system.
Really great pizza and service Mac cheese croquettes delicious
Great place to watch sports with a view to a TV wherever you are stood or sat down. Does get busy when football is on so if your willing to stand theres no issue
Great in the week for an after work drink. Far too many people on the weekend. Also… don’t go there when sports are on… apparently it’s a sports bar
Poor excuse of a Sports Bar. Booked in a visit to watch a game that was advertised on their website, of which took several times of asking to be put on, then refused to put the sound on despite it being almost empty. Claimed it wasnt a big enough game for that. Decent ales on tap but didnt stay for the food. Unless youre visiting to watch Manchester United or another tourist club, Id advise to give it a miss and visit a real Sports Bar, of which there are many in the area.
Good atmosphere with plenty of outdoor space! Knocking off one star coz the tonics are too small! When youre spending £12+ on a g&t a 125mil tonic seems a bit mean.
Great atmosphere, lots of screens easily visible from the seats. Overall pleasant experience. Book in advance for the best seats/bigger screens. Just around the corner from Victoria underground/overground station.
Worth being aware they play music at a loud volume meaning if you want to have a conversation you have to shout at the person you are with even if standing right next to them. Im not sure at what time the music starts playing but definitely by 7pm. Food and drink are good and its always busy so if you like the loud music vibe and a busy venue with sports screens you will like it. It would help if when ordering food for a large group that they labelled things that came out - some work colleagues were vegan and had no idea what items were vegan (the staff didnt know either)
Amazing staff, Steph in particular made our visit super special. He was extremely attentive and made the best Aperol sprits. The food and drinks were well priced for a bar in Victoria.
Excellent place. Its actually massive, I was not expecting it to be as large as it was. The location is prime and easily accessible, right next to Victoria Station. Very modern, minimalist, industrial space. The bar is enormous and the beer/cider selection is great. I was here to watch the Liverpool/Man City Premier League match in Nov 2019 and the place was packed, but there is no shortage of TVs to catch the action. Had a great evening!
1. Booked table upstairs, ordered food using QR code and… nothing arrived. Apparently QR code doesn’t work on 2nd floor… so why even put them on the tables?2. Food arrived in the end, after chasing waiter 🙈 Cold and small. Not worth the price. It is great for watching games due to bit screens, but service and quality of food is questionable :(
Visited greenwood twice now and. BOth occasions We’ve always had a great experience. Staff all very friendly and attentive.Table service and bar service both very speedy even at the busiest of times.Plenty of TVs spaced around and speakers loud enough to hear all the action from you favourite sporting events.Facilities all very well kept and constantly being cleaned down.
Sat outside and the outdoor heaters werent working apparently but otherwise friendly, quick service and a decent range of food and drinks, but expect central London prices. Generally fine though, very busy but not too long a wait at the bar.
Average and overpriced food & drinks. 16£ for a small and greasy burger and 7£ for a pint. Uncomfortable seats, rude and slow service. You have to collect your order directly from the kitchen despite there are waiters just watching the match in the screens. Many other places around.[update] thanks for your answer. actually you just need to go to your restaurant and see it by yourself and read other comments here. your place has potential. but is undermanaged and with little care for the client.
Very good place to have your launch. Very good service and good prices. Its better to book a table before visit it. Except food, you can choose one of cocktail. Thank you gays for the excellent time at your place. Sure I will visit this place at my next visit in London. Everything was perfect!!!!
Private function at the venue is a must. Spacious, airy with large screens showing sports as you drink in a lounge type bar on the first floor.Nicely decorated and good for special functions. Good for a drink and chat without loud background music to drown out a conversation.Overall am impressive Sports pub and bar with outdoor seating area during the warmer weather.
Sports pub 👌🏻 Kitchen 👎🏻 i haved dined twice at this place and whilst there is a nice atmosphere to it as a pub, the food is just meh 😐 the steak sandwich is served in a burger bun and very greasy and messy 🤢 and linguini was nothing special.
This bar was recommended which is always a good start. Only 5 mi s from Victoria station it is ideally located . Big glass windows gives it a spacious and light feel. Well laid out with screens of all shapes and sizes everywhere. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly.I was there for the Champions League Final so it was heaving . The vibe was good and you got served quickly at the bar.In the words of Arnie. ‘I will be back ! ‘ 👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾⚽️🏉🥊🥅🏓⚾️🎱🎾🏏⛳️
This is one of the coolest sports bars i‘ve been to. The food was great. Especially the fried Mac&Cheese Balls!! Despite the size of the bar the atmosphere is really good. The only downside of my visit was the staff. They were friendly but slow and seemed a bit confused from time to time. Our waitress didn‘t know what Bombay Saphire is.But overall I would recommend this bar and come back.
I was there watching foot ball game with some friends yesterday. The space is very nice, clean, bright and opened. Plenty of screens played the game all at once. Its easy to find good seats if you are there for sports game. You can feel the excitement but you dont feel its crowded or noisy. All the seats are first come first serve. I ordered Mac Cheese balls and a The Greenwood. Love the cocktail that I ordered! The Macn cheese was delicious too. Highly recommend to the people who want to watch a sport game with some small groups of friends!
♿️⚠️Quite wide entrances with ramps and loads of room on the ground floor, didnt see a lift to go to the 1st floor however.Decent bar with ample room and loads of seating downstairs. Bar service is quite fast, plenty of room to order as well. Upstairs games room is usually a bit quieter with a few TVs.
This mega-venue dwells within the Nova building at Victoria and is a mixture of pub, restaurant and sports lounge set across 2 giant floors.I was craving something crispy and opted for the Chilli squid with aioli. It was perfectly fresh and satisfying, even better with a chilled glass of Picpoul. My client was suitably impressed with her saucy Korean chicken wings with sesame seeds. The menu has a tempting selection of pizza and burgers, but I’d heard Greenwood sources the freshest fish. With this in mind, I chose to tuck in to Teriyaki Salmon with broccoli, bean sprouts and red pepper. True enough, the fish was beautifully moist and tasted absolutely delicious. My companion enjoyed a Falafel burger with harissa, tahini mayo and grilled halloumi. She described it as being subtly seasoned with an exotic warmth. I’ll be trying that next time! With our hungers sated, we were given the grand tour of the establishment. The ground floor is made up of the main bar and lounge area, plus some swanky private spaces of varying sizes, available to hire privately. We headed upstairs to check out the Sports lounge, complete with shuffleboards, pinball machines, several TV screens and 2 American 8 ball pool tables.
Sprawling sports bar conveniently positioned opposite Victoria Station and next to the Victoria Palace Theatre (the one showing Hamilton). Its got quirky decor, lots of animals hanging from the walls and ceiling, and plenty of seats. Theres pool tables upstairs. Overall, probably one of the better places to drink if you want somewhere close to Victoria station.
Had a couple of really cool and couture style cocktails here. Nice, chilled atmosphere with spacious airy decor. Bar food and snacks good quality and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend.
Great service and hospitality. Loved the Drambuie Collins cocktail. Good for all sorts of occasion. Sports bar upstairs - can watch snooker and football match as wellas play pool. 🍹🎱⚽🥂🍻
I visited this Pub / Sports Bar in July 17.The ambiance is absolutely beautiful, very modern and welcoming with a twist of quirky and uncovered sealing pipes and warm lighting. The bar is situated bang in the middle.I ordered a beer and a burger. The food was delicious.I also tried their salad beetroot and feta cheese salad which was delicious too.The seating was comfortable. The place is spotlessly clean.Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially, Paulo, Mr Italian who came out of the bar and asked my Company for a beer and took the food order.Would I go back, you best I will. The toilet were alone very clean.Prices were affordable but not cheap.Music is commercial and a little loud.
